Andy was great to work with!  The shades are on a west facing slider and windows.  In spite of a shocking surprise or two related to installing on an older home, he quickly worked it out, and the shades look terrific.  Thank you!

The Northwest Shade Company is OUTSTANDING! Andy is very dedicated and easy to work with. Our outside shades are beautiful and allow us to enjoy our patio even during extremely hot weather. This was a necessary expense for our patio enjoyment. Best outdoor shades on the market and exceptional person (Andy) to work with. I recommend this company without reservations…

Andy, who is owner of the Northwest Shade Company, is exceptional! We purchased a couple of outdoor shades for our patio. However, they had a defective seam that came apart… this was a manufacturing error not common with these blinds… Andy did a temporary repair that worked well while replacements were coming… replacement blinds arrived and Andy quickly installed them. Only one of the blinds unraveled, yet Andy replaced both of them! He is a very responsible business owner and I am impressed with him.

I would highly recommend NW Shade Co.!! Andy is a total professional...responsive, courteous and does what he says he's going to do when he says he's going to do it. He installed a cable guided shade system across our west facing back patio and it's everything we could have hoped for and more. We can now use our patio in the late afternoon sun but still see out and enjoy the golf course view. All this for a very fair price. We loved that he has a beautiful showroom that you can see the various products he offers ahead of time.

We had a wonderful experience with NorthWest Shade. We were unfamiliar with the options of a sunroom. Andy was very informative explaining different rooms, skylights, & windows. We went with a year round “Four Seasons Room”. Andy thoroughly explained the process from permits to roof options. He went over & beyond even looking over our roof where we had previous damage & fixing the flashing. I can’t say enough about him. He’s incredibly thorough, honest, & professional!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
