We had a leak with water dripping from one of our ceiling vents. We called Northwest Preferred Roofing and they came out within a couple of hours. They found the vents had been installed in correctly. They replaced all six vents at a very reasonable price within a short period of time. They're easy to work with and we would definitely use them again.

We wanted to check to see if the plastic roof vents on our home needed to be replaced. We had heard that they could crack and fail causing interior leaks. We called Leo with Northwest Preferred Roofing to assess. He responded quickly and confirmed our fear that we had some cracked vents. He explained that metal vents were a better option and had longer lifespan. We hired him to replace all 5 vents on our home. He scheduled the repair quickly and we are so relieved now not to have to worry about a major leak.

We decided to have a home inspection after the repair and the inspector found signs of minor leakage from the old cracked vents. Luckily it had not caused any damage yet. We are so thankful that we had Northwest Preferred Roofing replace our old 8 year old cracked vents before any major damage took place.

We highly recommend Leo who is knowledgeable, honest, and reliable. Plus, the price was very reasonable! If we hadn’t replaced the damaged vents we probably would have eventually had a major water damage repair inside our home.

We recently experienced a bomb cyclone in WA state, which caused shingles to be blown off our roof. On short notice, Northwest Preferred Roofing was able to come out and patch our roof, despite being extremely busy with similar calls from other clients.

When I first called Cassandra, she was incredibly helpful. It was clear that this wasn't her first rodeo—she had a thorough understanding of the insurance process and what we would need for insurance purposes if we filed a claim.

Leo came out from NW Preferred Roofing and fixed the leak within 5 min then gave me a quote for repairs. He and his team came back and did all the repairs, cleaned everything up. NW Preferred completed my roof early 2023. They are extremely professional and personable, took time to answer all questions. The roof was completed in a timely manner and workers were very (overly) respectful of my family and safety while on the job. The finished product looks great. They really made us feel they are here to help and not just sell us something. During the on-site eval, Leo even found a problem area with the vent boots and threw on a couple new ones to avoid any leaking while they wrote up an esitmate. Currently in talks of doing a few out buildings as well. In a day where customer service seems to be lost with most, I much appreciate and highly recommend Northwest Preferred Roofing.

During the home inspection for a new ( to us) home, we were told there were some leaks in the roof. We had 5 estimates done in January. Each one confirmed the leaks and told us they would send us their bid. Leo from Northwest Preferred Roofing did the same thing. But then he told us that in good faith, he couldn't drive away and leave it leaking. He climbed back up and patched the leaks. Even before he was done, we had made up our minds.

They came out when promised and did a great job. We would absolutely recommend them.

From the beginning to the end, the experience is top-notch and is a shining example of what all companies should be like. When I had a leak in the roof, I called based on looking at various reviews, but in the end you just need to pick one, and I am glad I met Leo and the team. Leo came out, fixed the leak, and told me what the reason was, since then I've had him out every year to check on my roof, and honestly trying to penny pinch (It's a big investment) thinking how long I can draw out my roof replacement. Seeing prices of materials go up year after year I decided to bite the bullet and as promised, as I was treated spectacularly by the team I went with them. Cassandra provided the quotes, and was with me every step of the way, came out, showed me what products were to be used, kept me up to date on the milestones of the project, I never felt pressured, and they both were there to answer any questions. Every day of the work, they cleaned up the yard (even trash that flew into my yard from a neighbor) and other than the small utility trailer and the dumpster bin, you'd never know they started the work if you didn't look at the roof. Afterwards, they went though picking up any nails/materials with magnets, and I have a pristine new roof. Closing things our, Leo came out to address any concerns I had, which was outside if their work scope, he came by after a hard day of working another job just to answer questions. Cassandra came back, never pressuring me to close out my account, they even brought me a small gift! We sat on our patio and chatted non-roof things, and she gave me the invoice, warranty info, and it was very pleasurable. Bonus I get drone shots of my new roof soon! I'm a very inquisitive person (as they found out) and I like to know details no matter how technical to understand the process and hows/whys. While I have no doubt that my roof is now sound (even if there was an issue they have shown they will address it) I'm going to miss my yearly visits from Leo... I might just have to have him come over to check something.. just because. As someone in the customer service field myself, you want to stick with those who treat you right, and as far as roofing... this is the place! Fully recommend them for any roofing needs.

Northwest Preferred Roofing replaced my 24 year old roof in June 2023. From their no-pressure bidding approach to the excellent advice they gave me I could not be happier. Their price was in the middle range of quotes, but their quality matched the top bids, and, frankly, the quality of the lower bidders concerned me.
The actual roof replacement was precisely on time. They thoroughly cleaned up every day. They showed me sections where the plywood needed replacement. Other than the pounding sounds, we hardly ever knew that they were there.
My new roof is the best looking in our neighborhood. I strongly recommend that you consider them in your roofing needs.

NWPRoofing replace two sections of my roof with Membrane roofing material. Original builder put shingles on a 1.7/12 picth roof in two areas. Ice dams and freeze thaw final shoed the errror.

Family owned business that goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Cassandra runs the office and Their customer service is the best and the crews work ethic is superb. Leo and the crew go out of their way to protect your property and they clean up after every shift. I am 100% happy with their work. Not easy to install a new roof during winter months and still deliver a quality job. But they know what they are doing and did a great job. Excellent

A pleasure to do business with. Leo did an excellent job. Very professional he answered all our questions and my attic gables look beautiful . Recently buying this home he found a couple issues that the inspector left out or did not see. I feel their pricing was reasonable . Cassandra was a pleasure and again very helpful and listened to my wants and needs . Hopefully I won’t but if needed in the future I will not hesitate to call them for any roofing or gutter issue.

Excellent service. Highly recommend. Cassandra arranged for the tech (name escapes me, but he was such a nice gentleman) to come out the same day I called after discovering the roof was leaking into an upstairs room. This was during a heavy rainfall week last October (2022). The tech figured out the leak was around the chimney and managed to fix it. A couple days later, a leak occurred in the adjacent upstairs room. The tech came out promptly, and no additional charge, determined the chimney grout was too old to fix. He put a brown tarp (thankfully not blue) around the chimney, and I have not had any leaks the rest of this rainy season. If I have another roof leak problem, I'll definitely call NW Preferred Roofing again! Thank you!

Our skylight started leaking and I called several Roofing companies. They were the only company to pick up my call and willing to help same-day. Leo and Cassanadra are professional, courteous and truly seem to care about the customer. After replacing the leaking skylight we decided to replace our custom skylight and everything was great. It was a stress free experience from ordering to installation. The custom order took time, which was expected. Overall I’d say this is one of the best roofing companies in the area.

I had used Leo to resolve a minor leak a year prior where the work was so trivial he refused to charge me. So when it came time for a new roof I got several estimates, and was glad to find that NWPR offered the product I wanted (Malarky) at the most competitive install rate. I was working independently with a solar panel company, who went back and forth and could not decide on multiple things, but fortunately both the NWPR construction crew as well as the office staff worked with me through all those hurdles and non-standard requests (like putting weather shielding in odd places, or relocating roof anchors and vents), and we got the roof exactly where it needed to be for the later solar installation to go smoothly. It is not often at the end of a project I have nothing to nit-pick about, but in this instance I literally could not be happier with the result and would recommend this company to everyone.

I had a roof leak near a skylight, called Cassandra and explained what I was seeing. Leo came out and quickly determined the problem was with some flashing. He quoted a reasonable price for the repair, and managed to schedule us in between some other jobs a day later. I'm glad he was so prompt--it snowed only a few days after he got it fixed. I highly recommend these guys.

We had them take out our old gigantic skylight and roof it in. They got the job because they did everything including the interior drywall/ceiling, texture & paint and their bid was the best. So happy with all their excellent work and they were on time, polite and responsive.

They did a great job in doing the necessary decking repairs, adding flashing to the edges of the roof and along the walls , which wasn't done on the original roof. They used a top grade underlayment to seal the roof and used a top grade shingle with infused copper to help prevent moss buildup. They did an excellent job and were very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Northwest Preferred Roofing for your next roofing job.

Roof replacement services performed were excellent from the existing roof material tear off to the plywood sheathing repairs to the new Malarkey shingle installation, everything went smoothly. We would certainly recommend them to customers needing a roof replacement. In addition, they performed repairs requested for gutter fastening and skylight adjustments. Leo came to our home, got on the roof and showed my husband things that had been done wrong when the house was built. He and his crew were professional and and tidy. I DID get a new job and was relieved to opt for a re-roof, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Northwest Preferred for their honesty. Cassandra provided me with comprehensive estimates for 3 different roofing material options and included all the ancillary needs like replacement of damaged sheeting, ice dam shield, underlayment, etc. I chose to have my asphalt single roof replaced with the CertainTeed metal shake roof, and it looks and performs excellently! I also had a roof cap installed, new gutters and downspouts and had some repair work done to the eve of my garage where the prior gutter had failed and water damage was visible. I also had a non-operational chimney, which they took down to just below the roof line and repaired the hole left behind and laid down roofing over the area. The warranty of the product and the installation work is terrific! The installation crew were on time, and their work did not disrupt me at all despite the fact that I work from home. They cleaned the area up well and finished in an acceptable amount of time. All in all, a top notch organization and I would recommend them to anyone.
