North Slope Roofing recently replaced the roof and guttering on my home. After 50 years of repairs, updates and maintenance this was the best experience ever. Every single person I dealt with was polite, efficient and meticulous in their craft. I am so pleased with everything and definitely recommend North Slope Roofing!

Without Ben’s help with my insurance company I would have likely had to pay out of pocket for a new roof. Ben came out several times and took numerous pictures providing evidence of hail and storm damage that the claim adjuster may have missed. On the day of my new roof installation, his crew showed up early on the agreed upon day had the old shingles removed and the new ones installed completing the job and cleanup in one day. Not only did the shingles that Ben recommended look great, he even provided me with aerial photos of my house upon completion of the new roof. I couldn’t be happier with the looks of my new roof or with Ben and his crew!

The North Slope roof and gutter crews were very friendly, knowledgeable and quickly finished their work. We are very happy with the new roof and gutters.

I had some small damage to my roof that required 2 packages of shingles. They came to house but I never received a quote. I called them back 3 to 4 times since May with always your on our list to send you a quote. I guess if you are a $800 your not worth the time.

North Slope Roofing is amazing! I don't have time to list how many times the owner Ben has helped out. Ben has inspected my personal roof multiple times over the years with hail storms. The first 3 or 4 he would always tell me that it wasn't time yet, that the roof was still good. When a contractor makes their $$ by replacing roofs, and they tell you not to replace a roof.... when it was finally hailed out, he helped work through the claim process, and even came to meet with the adjuster. His crew replaced our main roof, and has also roofed an addition for us afterwards. The work, professionalism was so great, when it was time for my moms roof to be replaced, we called Ben.

Always prompt, great work, excellent customer service. To be fair and honest, we had some leaking around the chimney on the addition. He was out the next day to check it out, and we found that the existing flashing installed by the mason was only standard flashing and not step-flashing, something his company did not address. We got the step flashing installed and no leaks!

I would easily (and do all the time) recommend Ben Gensch, owner of North Slope Roofing to anybody for Insurance replacement, general replacement, and roof repair work.

I called in to get an estimate on our roof to see if it needed to be replaced or not. I talked with Ben Gensch the Owner/General Manager and he came right out to give me a quote. Sure enough the roof needed to be replaced and the cold weather was moving in fast. Ben got it set up for the next week and the roof looks nice and the crew that put it on did a great job. After that the Gutters were replaced and that crew did a good job. While the roof was being put on Rich Van Auken Marketing/Project Manager came out to see if everything was going well and if I had any questions. I talked with Rodeana the Office Manager many times and all I have is good things to say about these people I mentioned at this company. A special thank you to Ben for answering all my questions along the way.

I called North Slope on Friday to schedule my new roof, letting them know of my concern with getting it done before winter. The owner contacted me on Sunday to confirm the details and informed me that my roof would be installed on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning his crew showed up bright and early, and installed my entire new roof that very day! They accommodated my driveway request for parking their dumpster for shingle removal, and were extremely attentive to the cleanup. I am very pleased with the professionalism and extremely quick response time. I highly recommend North Slope Roof

We bought our house 2 hrs ago and this company put a new roof on as we were closing. There ended up being a leak around the fire place which we realized by the wet (and now stained) part of the ceiling. They fixed the leak but not in a timely manner and not when they said they would. It took a few weeks to get them out here. And they said they would come back and fix the staining on our ceiling... and haven’t. This whole process has been well over 9 months. When I call, no one answers. I leave a message. No one returns my call for weeks!!! How hard is it to call someone back and give them a time frame of when they will be here??? And I know I could easily fix the stain myself but it’s the principle of the matter. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Our insurance agent recommended this company to us as this is the primary roofer they send people to. Supposedly they’ve never had anyone negative feedback. That changes now. I called expecting it would be a few days before someone would be able to come out for an estimate. I was surprised when the woman said someone would come out that day or the next but they would call prior. Wonderful! That was a Thursday. The following Monday comes with no calls and no one coming out. I called a couple more times that week asking if someone could just call to schedule a time. That’s all I was asking for. I was understanding of delays for someone to actually come out. I just wanted a simple 2 or 3 minutes phone call to schedule. I even emailed them through their website hoping that would help. Nothing. I called a different company and within an hour that one called to schedule. So why was it so complicated for North Slope? I wasn’t asking for the world. I was asking for good customer service, of which I got none. This is a horrible company. Don’t bother with them. They don’t care about getting new customers. It’s companies like this that cause me to not trust roofers.
