We called them after Hurricane Helene to look at a few spots on our roof. Logan came over was very courteous and professional he inspected our roof and did minor repairs free of charge. We plan to call them for our maintenance in future.

Such a positive experience in the aftermath of Helene. I'm in Augusta and was told by local roofing companies that it would take another 3 to 5 days on top of the 3 days I had already waited to put tarps over major damage from a felled tree. The crew that removed the tree for me referred me to Logan. Logan and his team were able to complete emergency repairs with a little more than a one day turn around. Logan did an excellent job keeping me informed regarding when he and his crew could be expected and returned a week later during the insurance adjuster's inspection to ensure the full scope of the damage was documented. Nelson Roofing also gathered emergency supplies in their hometown and delivered them to the areas most hard stuck by Helene. I really felt like this company genuinely wanted to help me in a time of crisis and that they cared about me as a person. I highly recommend Nelson for your roofing needs.

Nelson Roofing, Elizabeth, and Tim were a pleasure to work with. The roof replacement went smoothly and we were able to replace gutters also. The overall experience went well and we highly recommend their services.

Very friendly. They were able to come out to give me a quote in a very reasonable time frame.
Although twice I was promised the pictures they took of my roof, likely needed to be done by drone, I've yet to see them more than a week later.

When the boots on our plumbing vent pipes failed causing significant leaking all the way through into our basement, Nelson Roofing came out the next day to repair them in the rain. They were especially good to us because we are repeat customers, and the chimney cap they installed for us a couple of years ago hasn’t caused us any problems since. Aside from excellent customer service and integrity, Tim and the others at Nelson Roofing are some of the nicest people we’ve met.

The Nelson Roofing team responded quickly to our repair request when we found a leak stemming from another contractor damaging the roof during a trim repair. Their ability to identify the problem and resolve it same day made all the difference.

I had my roof completely replaced in May of 2023. The other night when there was a rain and hail storm it developed a leak. As soon as Kevin was available he came out to my house and found that the seal around the skylight had leaked and repaired it. Thanks Kevin

Not only did Kevin McKinley and his crew go out of there way to help us and advised us on some other issues I was not aware of with the cutters, and the roof ventilation. We asked Kevin to make the repairs and install 2 solar temperature controlled fan/vents on our roof. What an amazing difference it has made in keeping the upstairs much cooler, and the A/C actually shuts off during the day. It has helped with the over all temperature inside the entire home.

May of 2021 my roof and gutters were damaged from a tornado that hit a few miles away from the house. I fought and fought with my insurance company until I felt backed into a corner.... They were trying everything in their power to NOT cover ANYTHING. And for those who are curious, my insurance company is NOT one of those cheap, no-name companies. Initially I thought by paying higher premiums meant better service when called upon but that's a whole different story for another time...any who....
Then Elizabeth (company rep), came in to my life through a referral of a family friend who was also in the same situation as myself. Elizabeth was SUPER friendly and VERY knowledgeable. After speaking with her ONE time, I felt like she had my back. We were going to get this situation resolved and COVERED by the insurance company. That's EXACTLY what happened. I wish I had met Elizabeth sooner! I had been at war with the insurance company for almost a YEAR before getting that referral. I had hired at least 6 contractors to inspect and provide quotes to fix the damage. Every one of them promised to help me get it all covered and ALL of them failed me. Every single contractor/company (yes, even hired a few BIG name companies too!) flaked out on me after dealing with my insurance company. It's like they didn't want to deal with any of it. Except one...... Thank you Nelson Roofing. Thank you Elizabeth. You guys don't even know how happy you've made me since all of this occurred. I will ALWAYS recommend this company! I will ALWAYS call this company FIRST in the event I ever need them again! Don't even waste your time anyone else. These guys are honest and they do a fantastic job! My roof looks great and those new black gutters are AWESOME!

Stopped by to talk with owners. We have had some bad experiences with others who did our roof. You learn a lot about a man when you talk one on one. These men are full of integrity and the professionalism is shown through their speech, actions, and the way they keep their office and warehouse.
I only wish I would have known they were here when I had to have my roof repaired. I would recommend and this crew for your next roofing job. It is rare to find those who hold to the high standard they profess. Their walk certainly equals their talk.

VERY HONEST !! They believe in taking good care of the homeowner. I thought I needed a new roof, but Cal said it will last for another 7 yrs. They replaced the vent pipes that was causing my leaks. I would definitely recommend!!

In January my home incurred wind damage that resulted in multiple missing shingles. I contacted Nelson Roofing to inspect my roof to find out if the damage could be covered by my homeowners insurance policy. After Elizabeth conducted the free inspection, she educated me that I in fact had ample storm damage that should be covered by my insurance policy. I filed a claim with my insurance company and Nelson Roofing partnered with me to have my roof replaced. Having an advocate to educate me through the process made what seemed to be a confusing process extremely easy. Not only did Elizabeth conduct an inspection, she also met with the adjuster as my advocate to share all of her findings on her initial inspection. She also helped me choose a roof design that would compliment my home. On the date of the replacement, I had to work and Elizabeth was on-site ensuring the installation process was conducted without a hitch. The crew did thorough clean-up and the only indication any work was completed is my new roof, which I love how it stands out in my neighborhood. A+++ I had started with another roofer in my area who had the most positive reviews on the BBB site. That was a mistake as they did not come out when the insurance adjuster came, as they promised, and ghosted me. The insurance company proceeded to low-ball me by saying my 20 year old roof just needed a repair job rather than a replacement.

I was at wits end on how to proceed as it was obvious that my roof needed replacement rather than repair. Shingles were blowing off my roof. That is when Nelson Roofing came to my rescue. David went above and beyond the call of duty by going up on my roof and documenting the actual damage along with the poor condition to the rest of my roof. He took pictures and videos and the insurance company (a very popular insurance company) once again denied a roof replacement. He was able to finally convince my insurance company otherwise and I got my roof replaced.

My new roof looks amazing and I am extremely happy with the work they did. I highly recommend them.

Tim and his son were very professional and courteous. Their expertise in their field was apparent, yet they explained the process in layman's terms to us so we could better understand what was happening. They were mindful of our business and did not interrupt business operations. I first met Tim and Levi in Spring of 2021. I let them inspect my roof for damage from some severe weather. The indicated there was damage and that they would work with my insurance company to handle the claim. The met with the insurance adjuster, worked through the claim and replaced my entire roof. Tim came out showed us his shingles and actually called back and said he got the feeling we were not completely happy with the samples we had and came out a 2nd time with more samples which, in my opinion, went above and beyond what we expected. His installers showed up when he said they would, they did a great job, and were very polite and courteous. Both Tim and Levi showed up during the installation and made sure everything was going good. I tried to go ahead and pay the amount due, after the installation, but Tim insisted we wait on the Insurance company to send me a check instead of me taking it out of savings. The insurance company was backed up (due to the pandemic and the claims from the spring tornados) so it took longer than expected to get the check but they were very understanding and kept saying no need for me to pay until I got my check from the claim. I even had them come back a little later and install new gutters. Very rarely do I write reviews, but I will when it is warranted. Tim, his office staff, and his installers were professional, listened, and explained any questions about the claims process, types of shingles, and the installation that we had. I would definitely recommend Nelson Roofing to anyone that asks.

Nelson Roofing did an awesome job with my roof installation! The finished result is perfect, and they made the whole process enjoyable. Good, professional service. During a recent storm we found we had a leak in the roof. Levi, from Nelson Roofing came to inspect and identified the problem. They covered the area to keep it (temporarily) secure. The quote was fair. A couple of weeks later, they came back and completed the work as agreed. I was happy with the service and the support. I would recommend.
