I hired Jeff for a new construction inspection on my first home purchase. After seeing issues other family members have had with new builds and realizing not all inspectors are created equal, I was very focused on hiring an inspector who would be trustworthy and thorough; Jeff was exactly that! I contacted him on a Wednesday night, heard back from him immediately the next morning, and he was able to do the inspection the following Monday. I was worried I would have to wait weeks to get an inspector to the house, so I was very happy with this turnaround time. Before hiring Jeff, he offered to send me a sample of a new construction inspection he had previously done, which is what sold me. Not only was it incredibly detailed, but I appreciated that he wanted to prove his quality of work without me even having to ask. The inspection report he created for my house was just as detailed as his example report. He sent my inspection report the same day of the inspection, and it was very thorough. The issues he found were noted with pictures, descriptions of the issues, and his recommendations. Jeff was extremely kind, responsive, and communicative. After the inspection, Jeff allowed me to ask as many questions as I had, and he even gave me recommendations on places to look for window coverings, etc because I will be new to the area. He also suggested a way to ask our builder for an extended warranty on one potential issue he found, and the builder agreed to it. Jeff is a true expert. He’s honest, affordable, and meticulous. Since I had such a thorough inspection of the house (done by Jeff), when it was time for the walkthrough, I only had to worry about marking cosmetic issues and not about if things in the house were working properly. You really have to have your own back when buying a home, and it is so nice to have someone else who you feel like also has your back. You can tell Jeff takes pride in his quality of work, and I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone needing a home inspection.

Jeff was very thorough and knowledgeable something kept telling me to get a second inspection report before closing. I called Jeff the day before closing and he came out to the property we probably wasn’t there 15 minutes he found more stuff in those 15 minutes than the first lazy inspector put in his whole report and this was just the roof, now on to the crawl space, if you could’ve seen Jeff face when he emerged from the crawl space I knew I wasn’t buying this house MOLD & STRUCTURAL DAMAGE!! Jeff is awesome! I researched a home inspector and chose Jeff based on his years of experience, and calling him to talk about the inspection process on phone. He was very detail oriented and answered all my questions. I ended up not buying the home but for good reason. Jeff searched through the home and left no nook or cranny unturned. There was too much foundation damage and roof damage for my liking. He even pointed out things that might have been missed like missing wood under the vinyl plank. Jeff will make sure you are making a great purchase and not throwing your savings away. I would recommend Jeff as a home inspector.
