1 OAK Roofing

I’ve had several repairs done as a result of weather damage and poor quality construction since my home was built in 2020. 1oak has proven to be a solid choice that’s both reliable and dependable. They’re responsive to my needs often with little notice as problems tend not to show up until they cause other problems which requires a quick response. I’ve been satisfied with their work and will continue to use them for future roofing needs.

Had a large hail storm hit our neighborhood. Started seeing a lot of neighbors getting new roofs, but we wanted to work with a local company rather than the door knockers. My wife called, and Steven from 1oak came out the next day. Everything was handled efficiently, and he promptly submitted the paperwork to get the final check released by the insurance company. The crew worked quickly, and the roof looks great. The price was good as well. I would definitely work with them again.

Starting this off -- I have been burned by several other roofers, so my hesitancy and cautiousness was very high going into this.

HOWEVER - Steven and his team are everything you want in a roofing company: honest, prepared, and thorough. Previously, I had been approached by several other roofers who's sole focus was insurance scamming through solicitation -- 1 OAK / Steven's team could not have been more opposite; the team is up front and sincerely focused on helping find a solution that worked for me/their customer.

10/10 job, 10/10 company, 10/10 people. I never thought I'd look forward to working with a roofing company again, but I'm thankful to not have the eventual stress of finding the best company when it comes time for a full roof replacement.

I would highly recommend this roofing company. The owner contacted me quickly. He provided me with all the information. The crew that installed the roof were professional and did an excellent job. Clean up was fantastic. Couldn't tell they had been there.

Steven and his crew were great to work with. This company is one of the rare companies doing business today that truly look out for the customer. My home required over 60 square of shingles. Steven and his crew managed to tear off and replace in 1 day. I haven't found a single nail in the driveway or my yard. We highly recommend 1-Oak. Steve and the roofing crew did a fantastic job at our home. Not only did they replace the shingles on the roof, but they also replaced our 40-year-old, cloudy skylights, and our chimney (hardy board, caulking, and painting).

After getting proposals from several companies, we decided to go with 1-Oak. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and then followed through with their commitment and timelines. The dumpster was brought in, the roof was replaced, and then everything was cleaned up after their work. The dumpster was then removed. Everything was done neatly and quickly.

Our roof looks great, and we have had compliments from our neighbors.

Best thing about Steven is his communication. From the initial website request through all remaining steps, he was honest about pricing, willing to answer all questions, and resolve all concerns. My roof was very unique and his crew worked from 7am until 8pm to try and complete in 1 day. They had to come back next morning to finish, and then came back few days later to do another cleanup after we had some rain. At no point did I feel like I was bothering him by my late night text, or many questions.

I could not be happier with the roofing and gutter replacement 1OAK Roofing did on my house recently. They found a lot of plywood and rafter damage after removing the shingles. I'm very appreciative that Steven was honest with me about the damage and wanting to do it right. A lot of roofers might just lay down the shingles over the damage and let it go knowing it would cause problems down the road. Steven is hands on and always monitoring the work. We had a very bad hail storm, and I had two roofing companies speak with my insurance company, and they were a big fat NO. My neighbor clued me in I was (obviously) trying to use the wrong guys. Steven had recently finished my neighbor's roof, and it looked beautiful.
So I called Steven. He came out and there was lots of hail damage. I put him together with my insurance company. They had some words, Steven made his case, and they waved the magic wand and approved everything.
See - magic.
He had his crew out about a week later. My roof is large, so it took just over a day.
Steven had his crew make a few adjustments for things I couldn’t even see. He even walked around the yard with a large magnet looking for roofing nails.
Great guy. Great job, and he ended up doing some of my neighbor’s roofs as well.

I had multiple leaks overnight. Called 1 OAK Roofing first thing in the morning. They came out same day as soon as the rain stopped and fixed the leaks right away. They also fixed other areas that were potential for leaks. When they finished it started to rain and instead of leaving they went on the roof again to double check the repair was good. They even followed up the next day to make sure there were no more leaks. Would recommend to anyone.

He helped confirm there was nothing wrong with our roof. Took the time to write a letter advising the insurance company that there wasn't a legitimate reason to replace or anything to repair on the roof. We appreciated his honesty. Our tenant called us about water leaking into their bedroom on a rainy day. I was referred by a friend to 1 O.A.K. and they were at the house in less than an hour. Not only did they fix the vent in the roof that was causing the issue, they would not let me pay them b/c it was such a small fix. How cool is that??? Oh the roof technician that came out… was the owner! I would def recommend them and I’ll be calling next time I have a roof issue!
