My husband and I bought a house in Smyrna this year knowing that it would need new shingles in the next year, so we got some estimates. We chose MR Hunter because they offered the best price and also did attic insulation which was important to us as well. Mike, the owner, was very knowledgeable and we felt confident that he used the best quality materials and would be attentive to the issues our roof presented. Mike's team was three very hard working men who have been doing roofing for nine years. They took good care of my bushes and deck by laying tarps down before working. They put all the trash generated into a large dumpster and picked up nails the last day. They installed a new solar fan and removed an old Dish Network satellite dish. Mike came to oversee that the insulation was done correctly and we were happy with that job too. The work crew were kind, professional, and made our new roof look wonderful. It's such a relief to have this project done, and we will certainly use MR Hunter again in the future.

EDITED 4/2025: We could hear critters scampering in our walls and knew we needed to have certain areas under our gutters patched up. We called out Mike for an estimate, and he had a good conversation about the state of our home's exterior. He did not pressure us into anything but showed us how the old gutters on our home were too small to handle all the rain that was coming down from our sharply-pitched roof (something we had noticed before), and how flimsy our soffits were (which were probably letting critters sneak through). Mike quoted us a great price to do new gutters, soffits, facia, move some exterior vents which were too low, and replace two old exterior doors that were showing signs of wear. All the work was quickly and competently done, and since the job was completed a few weeks ago, we have not heard any noises coming from our walls. The gutters are no longer leaking and the new facia/washing really makes our house colors pop. Whenever we need anything home-related, MR Hunter will be the first company we call as long as we live in Smyrna. Thanks Mike!!

The communication is lacking. Not being updated in when work would be done. A siding and gutter job took almost a month. However, the work is amazing. We can say quality work. If we could change one thing, it would be to speak only with the office manager Jen. She really took the time to understand the issues and resolve them. After being told workers were coming and no one showing up to the point of anger we are just glad its over. Thank you Jen for being honest and helping get our job completed.

MR Hunter was great. Got the job done at a fair price. I had to replace EVERYTHING on my roof because it was old and sagging. (Like me) He figured it out and perked it up.

Had our roof done 3 years ago. We wondered why the flashing was put up so high around the chimney. About three weeks ago we had water pouring into our living room. We had someone come out to fix it today and he pulled back the flashing and found barely any mortar between the bricks. Absolutely disgusted!

We hired MR Hunter to replace our metal roof, replace our vinyl siding with Hardie Board siding, and build a trash can enclosure. The crew did an outstanding job. They showed up on time, worked hard, and left the site cleaned up every night. The finished product is beautiful! Our metal roof has lots of angles and we were a little nervous about having it replaced but they did a great job. The roof looks amazing and so far we have had no leaking. We had a little issue with the trash can enclosure but they responded quickly and came out to address and fix the problem. - even after being paid in full for the job. We would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

MRHunter Exteriors responded so quickly when I had a leak in my skylight. They put me on the schedule so fast and managed to get the new roof and new skylight in just before the long week of rain! I’m so thankful for how quickly they were able to get it done, preventing what could have been so much damage to the inside of the house! THANK YOU!

We had a very good experience with MR Hunter. Communication was very easy throughout our project. Work crew was always on time, friendly, and worked hard all day. Their attention to detail was incredible. And they efficiently figured out how to rectify some underlying water-damaged areas. We are so happy with the finished product- new roof, new siding, new soffits , and new gutters. We would highly recommend MR Hunter LLC !

Like a Good Consumer would, I shopped the companies for Replacement of our Roof of our Home. I am so Elated that we went with MR Hunter LLC !!!
Not only did they perform a " Superior Job" but, Mike Hunter provided many different selections to choose from. And, the one I selected really enhanced the beauty of our home. I received endless compliments. Additionally, we elected to replace our very large Skylights, and again did an Outstanding Job. The crew was very professional and easy to communicate with. Mike, personally cares about how the job progresses and comes by to check on the project. Best of All, he wasn't the Highest Bid, like 3 others, he was extremely reasonable !!! Mike came out personally to assess and provide the estimate. Awesome Military/Veteran discount was applied. Mario did the project management. I had my roof, facia, soffits, gutters replaced, garage door framing wrapped and my shed re-roofed. Every interaction was top of the line professional. I expanded the scope of my work when they had already begun to include the garage door wrap and new gutters. Mario ensured the entire job was completed with the original timeline. The workers were so nice and so professional! They left my property clean as well. I wish they did indoor contracting! I recommend 110% and referred them to my boyfriend’s mom after the most recent coastal
storm and she was very happy. She also expanded her project to include sky light windows as well as her roof.

M R Hunter gave my house a "facelift" new roof and siding and I couldn't be happier with how it looks!

This past summer we had MR Hunter reside our house with a premium vinyl siding. Mario who was the on-site foreman was excellent to deal with and addressed our concerns. A few change orders on our behalf raised the initial quote minimally. When the installers damaged a couple of our downspouts, Mario had new downspouts installed on our entire house free of cost. I can't say enough, about how impressed I am with MR Hunter. Their initial quote was a few thousand less than a few other companies, yet the quality of the siding and workmanship was superb. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I had a roof installed in July 2020, it was the best estimate and very thorough workers I ever had the pleasure of knowing including Mario, I will definitely use them again for other household projects.

We had recently purchased a home and suffered significant damage to roof resulting from a tropical storm. Our insurance deductible was very high, but we needed to have the roof replaced. We had multiple bids. Though, MR HUNTER was not the lowest bid, the reviews were excellent and the owner was sympathetic due to my age and also because I was a Vietnam Veteran. He lowered his bid my almost $4,000 to meet our financial limitations. The work was done professionally, completed in aa timely manner, and his crew used all GAF roofing materials to ensure that we would benefit from the GAF Lifetime Warranty. Clean-up was excellent. That was a specific concern to us since we have pets. I would highly recommend MR HUNTER with absolutely no reservation.

Mike explained step by step using a book showing each step in the process of replacing my roof. I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy not only by him but also by all of his workers. MR Hunter is my new favorite business. We needed to have two items repaired on our roof. I contacted them and got a quick response which included an up front estimate. In two days from start to finish I called, received a quote, and the job is now complete. This was the best experience I have had with a contractor. We will be using them next time!
