Lial and Kam came out and checked out my fireplace and chimney, did an awesome job, would highly recommend them.

We've had these guys service our unit for years. They've installed a new stainless liner and kept everything in good working order.

Kyle and Cameron came to help with a problem I was having with my chimney. After review of my situation they gave several options to fix my problem and left the decision to me. They did a great job of explaining each option. I was really impressed by them.

I had this company, Mr. Chimney, come out to do my yearly inspection on my gas fireplace. In my home they told me it was going to be a service call of $300. I was like, okay. The guys came out, inspected my fireplace. It's a gas fireplace, they sucked out some dust underneath. They cleaned off the igniter with a little wire brush and wipe the glass. They then let me know that the ignitor for the fireplace. Needed to be replaced, okay. That part would have cost a $130. And then he tells me one of the guys that it's going to cost me another three hundred dollars for them to come out and install that part. I understand the first service call C vote to charge someone another one to come out when you are diagnosing a problem and they're going to use your company to fix it and buy the part from you to charge them another $300 piece so you're basically $300 service call has went into. A 700. Almost eight hundred dollar service call that is ridiculous. If this is how much these people get paid then I'm in the wrong line of business. I will not recommend or I will not ever use this company again. Because to me, it is a rip-off. They're not there for the people of the community they're there for their pocketbook.

I just had Jason & Nick out to service a free standing gas stove in our family room that hasn’t been turned on in over 7 yrs. I had so many questions since I really did not know if we should remove, replace or just service the stove. They provided different options & fully explained each one. Never once did I feel like I was asking a “dumb” question. I ended up having them service it and it is works great. I am very happy I had them come out. Plus before they left each one gave me their phone number in case I had any questions- which I really appreciated; to me that is service above & beyond.

Mr Chimney is great! It was very easy to make an appointment and the staff is very friendly! I just had Lial out to inspect my chimney and advise me about repairs that need to be done. He was prompt and very courteous! The prices for inspections, cleaning, chimney caps and the new flashing I will need are reasonable. When it comes time to get the work done, I will definitely hire Mr. Chimney to do it!

I have an old fireplace in my 1910’s home. I’ve been wanting to use it but was concerned about the condition. Lyle came into my home with a smile. He was very kind and professional.

Nick and Jason came to replace the undersized chase cover and remove and replace the damaged trim. They came early and worked efficiently. The result is great and they are both great guys. We certainly recommend Scott and Mr. Chimney!

UPDATE: After Josh and Ryan rebuilt the firebox and did all the things, I got busy making fires. Then there were a string of texts (that Josh answered even though they were sent not during working hours) about how to make sure the flue was open.

Then the house filled up with smoke. I told him it was possibly user error. Nonetheless, Monday Josh and Ryan showed up again to add some insulation to the crawl space. Also, we had a little discussion about making fires. (Definitely user error involved.)

I may be the highest maintenance client in the history of the world, but Josh and Ryan may be the most patient fireplace workers ever. So grateful to them.

We bought a house. (Why? Why oh why?) Inspection showed the chimney needed work and the firebox had to be rebuilt. Didn't get done before we moved, so Josh and Ryan spent the two days before Thanksgiving here (and some hours after) doing great work.

Everything about this that could have been a big fat nightmare was easy. Scheduling was quick, and Josh was wonderfully responsive, updating me on the progress, describing the problems, and then working hard to fix them. Ryan's next career might be as a physics instructor, since he clearly loves explaining principles in a way that is both enlightening and entertaining.

No one wants to have people in their home jackhammering away and doing masonry. But if you have to put up with that, these are the guys to invite in.

Had Nick from Mr. Chimney over for a service on our gas fireplace. Replaced our blower motor and cleaned everything. It looks and works wonderful and was done for a very fair price!

Called in August to schedule a basic maintenance sweep, was able to get an appointment when I wanted. Two young men came out, looked at my chimney, told me “it’s too tall” and “in the 1% of chimneys in Spokane.” So they just left without doing anything. Fast forward to today, I have another company preforming the sweep, and when I told them about what the Mr Chimney techs told me he was very confused and confirmed my suspicion that they just didn’t want to work when they came to my house. So take my experience as you will, sometimes they just don’t want to work.

The Mr. Chimney team was very efficient. The work was done with integrity and respect. They respected my time and property. I had exterior work done; new bricks and flashing. I am very happy with their work, cleanup and responses.

Lyle and Isiac came to do an inspection/cleaning on our chimney and found other issues that prevented the inspection/cleaning from being done, They could have easily completed the scheduled work and charged us, but they were honest right from the beginning. I cannot thank or say enough great things about Mr Chimney Spokane - they are professional, honest and will be the only chimney company we ever deal with. Thank you Mr Chimney Spokane!

We got our wood stove insert installed December 2022 by Mr. Chimney (which we love) and then the following spring made an appointment to have them come out and clean it. I really appreciated Lial keeping me up-to-date on his arrival time. When he got here he looked it over and said that for our insert it typically only needs to be cleaned every other year with the amount that we use it (since we don't use it everyday as primary heat source). We appreciated his honesty...he was great. Glad to have saved some money.

Scott is an honest and helpful professional who I think deserves your trust and business. He came to my house to give me a quote on cleaning the moss off my roof and doing some roof/chimney repairs. He gave me his honest feedback and recommended replacement even though it meant less business for him (they don’t do replacements). I appreciate honest people like Scott. Thank you Scott!

Mr. Chimney (specifically Lyle & helper) cleaned our Chimney in August. From scheduling to cleaning it couldn't have been better.
So personable and professional. Then in October when we started our fire, the fireplace smoked horribly. I called Mr. Chimney and again from start to finish was friendly, professional and thorough. There was really nothing wrong but Lyle took the time to educate me on how the weather etc. Can affect how the fire works and what to do about it. I appreciated that he didn't immediately go to."buy a new stove", but when I asked about theres he explained to me why they are such good stoves. I won't use anyone else to clean our fireplace & when time to purchase a new stove, they will be my first call. Again, great service from scheduling to finish.

Nicest people I have met in a LONG time. And the repairs needed make sense. They explained why, and whT needed to be done first vs what could be done a little later. The price for cleaning and inspection was really reasonable also.

Lial and Edward showed up and they were both amazing. Not only did they inspect the chimney in my first home, they taught me how to use the fireplace insert and also gave me advice on how to bring it up to code. I will use Mr Chimney for all my future fireplace needs!

They walked in and glanced at the fireplace and said they didn't work on "those." Told me to call the other guys and walked right out. Called and spoke to the same lady I had scheduled with and told her what happened. She promised to speak to the guys and call me right back. That was two weeks ago...

I’ve used Mr. Chimney twice so far and Lial was very professional and helpful, as well as his helper. They were on time, quick, and were even nice to my dog!I will be calling them again for chimney services, and have recommended them to several friends who have all reported amazing service as well. Lial is the best chimney boy out there.

It kills me to write this because all the people that I talked to with the company were extremely kind and friendly and they were prompt but I just spent $185 for someone to look at my chimney for 5-10 minutes and tell me that it would cost an additional $700 to fix my issues. The $185 was for an inspection and had I known an inspection was not thorough at all, I would have just had a contractor friend who doesn’t specialize in chimney service to come look. I can understand half that cost for their time but $185 for 10 minutes is absolutely ridiculous.

This is such a great team of people to work with!! Scott came out to do an estimate at the earliest convenience, knew exactly what the problem was within 2 minutes of being here, then the next day, put us right on the books for the repair. Repair went flawlessly and quickly. Scott and Virgie are just the best in Spokane and I'm so glad they were able to take care of us so quickly. Highly recommend :)

Scott, Vergie and crew are amazing! They are great communicators and the work they did to restore our 80 year old crumbling chimney is true art. A real craftsman restored the chimney as well as protected the roof and attic from incoming water. I find myself staring at the chimney feeling grateful and enjoying the beauty of their work.

Prompt response but declined to clean my very challenging chimney for lack of camera equipment to do the post-clean inspection. A physical inspection from above could not be done due to height of chimney and slope of roof. Respect their judgment and would recommend them to others.

We purchased a home in a seller’s market so we had to accept a few things that weren’t exactly as we would have preferred. Our real estate agent recommended Mr. Chimney to inspect and clean our fireplaces.

They came and were very professional and efficient. We discussed options and decided on a pellet stove insert for the basement. Lial recommended the Breckwell SP 22 Maverick. It took a while for the stove to come in but Scott was great at explaining what was going on and keeping me updated. Virgie is great at calling back and answering any questions you have.

The installation process was very smooth. They made sure to ask my preferences and the stove turned out great.

We were so satisfied that we have decided to upgrade the living room fireplace with a new gas insert.

Lyle and Miguel came out and took a look at the fireplace for the home we recently purchased. Glad they did. Lots of potential issues. They we quick, courteous and knowledgeable. Offered multiple possible solutions and saved me from potentially burning my house down.

Had them out to do a cleaning. They said it was 189, or so per chimeney. Didn't end up needing to be cleaned and still got charged for their outrageous price of 169 for an inspection. They literally shined a flashlight up and down my chimeney and did no work. I appreciate the safety check and don't mind paying for it but that is way too high for 15 minutes of looking around. I could see maybe 50 to 70.

Scott has been awesome. I had Mr. Chimney out to inspect both chimneys this fall and he found damage in the chimney for my upstairs fireplace that the home inspections didn't catch when I purchased. Fast Forward a few months after getting inserts installed, the upstairs fireplace insert isn't working properly and the company I purchased from is insistent on putting a vent hole in my house, which doesn't make any sense given the fire won't burn with the insert door shut. So, I called Mr. Chimney out again to inspect/clean. Not only did Scott do that, he stayed a while after to test a few things with the insert himself! Above and beyond. And, he even remembered me from his first visit; that doesn't happen very often any more. Thanks so much Scott!

These guys are really professional and do a great job! Had an issue with the chimney smoking a few months after they cleaned... came right out to check it and fixed it right up!!! Had an appointment set between 2:30 and 5:30 and made sure we were home for the whole day. Never received a call and they did not show. On top of that no answer on the phone and no way to leave a voicemail.
Terrible service and won’t be using them again. I’d give negative stars if possible.

Arrived on time and inspected my chimney as requested to determine if a flue liner was needed. After a quick check determined it was not necessary, I was not billed for the inspection, and got some great advice from the tech who came out as well. Highly recommended.
