Theft is what comes to mind, after receiving a quote from the service department. While I know the service writer is just doing their job, 870 dollars for "spark plugs and an injection clean" is nothing short of robbery(at the point I called, they were still waiting on pricing from parts on the coil). I declined services, but the diagnostic fee is 165, the highest I have ever heard of. The car came in because of a faulty coil ($58 at cost, I checked before ever receiving the quote. Sparkplugs $10/each for high end at cost). Tried to sell me a transmission service, as well as coolant flush. Tranny had been services 11k miles before. And while I at this point won't have a choice but to bite the diagnostic fee, as my car is with them 4 hours from where I live. But I can guarantee that I won't be buying a car there after this experience. Communication is also lackluster.

Had some trouble with getting a vehicle but the sales team here worked there magic and delivered in no time, buying a car here was easy and fast, Ryan is an amazing salesman with a get it done attitude, and the service team here is top notch, 5 stars from me, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with auto needs

I’ve had multiple instances at this dealership. I had written a review of the poor service after you spend $90,000 on a vehicle and then try and get any problems taken care of at their service department and they will ignore you.
They will also ignore your telephone calls Darren Potter. The manager wrote a response to my review. I called him for an entire week left messages my telephone number still no response. They are only interested in your sales business. After that you are nobody

If you've had a bad experience with the other Auto Ranch locations I encourage you to go to the Mountain Home Chevy location and ask for Val. She's a honest, caring, gem in the midst of nasty business, rock star! We've purchased a total of 4 vehicles from Val over the years 09-25. Even after Performance Chevrolet was bought out Val (sales) and Jeremy (finance) have remained a staple of the Chevy location. They are truly the only reason the Auto Ranch has had our repeat business over the years.

Thanks again for another great experience. I hope y'all are around in another 7-12 years so you can help us get these tiny tots into their own, reasonably priced, wheels one day.

It was a big waste of my time. I wasn’t told the truth on several things when asked about them. I was looking for a lease option but some how ended up purchasing one that was supposed to be plug and play on the fog lights and mirrors. When I asked about the plug and play I was told that is what the salesperson was told and nothing else was said. I feel like I was brushed off. They knew I had certain things I wanted but kind of bypassed those things. For some reason they or someone took out the bed liner that shows there is rust in the bed. Further more I wasn’t even asked if I wanted to test drive this pickup. If I would have test drive this vehicle first I would have seen a lot of things that it doesn’t have. I have called and texted the powers that be and no response. I asked if I could have my tires and was told no and then come to find out they took my old one to auction. So I don’t know why I couldn’t have my old tires. I have a two year warranty but I am not sure what will be fixed under it if anything. I would highly recommend going to Boise or Jerome not Mountain Home. This is just a start of my disappointment and frustration. If they don’t have better customer service than this I feel sorry for anyone who goes there.

We had a great experience today. My husband bought his first vehicle WITH NO DOWNPAYMENT. Absolutely amazing service and Ryan newby couldn’t have been more helpful. He talked us through all our options, walked us through the paper work and helped find better options for financing. I highly recommend going here for your first vehicle and talking to Ryan newby.

I wish we would've started our car buying adventure with this dealership. Valerie was a pleasure to work with as our sales pro (she continued to help us with getting features set up in the vehicle after the sale was closed and after hours) and the sales manager, Jeremy, was no nonsense but also easy going and not pushy. They even had a young man that came back in after his shift to wash our new vehicle before handing us the keys. Totally worth making the drive from Boise. Thanks MHAR team! 10/10 would do business again.

Jeremy Pederson and Ryan Newby made my purchasing experience extremely enjoyable. Jeremy has been dealing with me since September last year because I have been trying to order a vehicle and there were limitations. He has been very understanding with my frustrations and explained the delays with patience and gave me a few options so I could order it in February and get the vehicle this April! Jeremy got me the BEST deal possible, and even gave me options I didn't know were out there. Ryan was there to answer my questions when Jeremy was unavailable and kept me up to date with the status of my order and he even delivered the vehicle to my home and went through all the features of my new vehicle with me.

Took my 2015 chevrolet silverado 2500 HD diesel in due to my block heater tripping my home gfci. I mentioned this had happened before and I took it to petersons in boise. Both places stated we can't replicate the problem when we plug it in here. It took three times taking it back to petersons before they finally replaced the block heater and cord and it worked just fine after that. At the mt home location they said maybe thered a short in truck wiring so after having it for 3 work days they found found nothing. I picked it up Monday the 11th and John said nope didn't find anything sorry I asked did you even look up notes or even call petersons in boise to ask what fixed the issue last time. After asking him what amp breaker did you use and he said I forgot to check. Talk about leaving very unsatisfied

I purchased a used vehicle this company. It's sticker. Price was around $16000. I put money down for them to hold the vehicle for me. When I went in to purchase the vehicle they showed me safety features that GMC has added to the car. When they drew up my purchase agreement, they included an additional $2,000 to the car's cost. I declined the safety features. When I did this they said that they couldn't be declined even though they weren't listed in the sticker price. I went ahead and purchased the vehicle against my better judgment because I didn't want to lose the money I had already put down on it for them to hold it. It was a used vehicle so I didn't purchase a warranty. They did, however say that it had been thoroughly checked in. All systems were working well. Within a week of purchasing the vehicle. I had to replace the exhaust manifold that was cracked. I then had multiple things go wrong. I took it to the dealership to have it fixed costing me an additional $1,500. They took no ownership and the fact that they had " thoroughly checked out the car" and yet sold it to me with things that were obviously wrong with it. I feel that the way that they went about charging me for features that they added to the car that wasn't listed in the sticker price was very underhanded, even for a car dealership. I will not be referring anyone to this dealership or going back.

Great service department and management! My truck pulls horse trailers and the service department is dedicated to making sure the truck is always ready to go. I am confident that preventive maintenance is the best that can be found.

I’m not one to complain but the service department had horrible integrity, costumer service and rips you off with their prices, I took in my truck to swap my spark plugs and run a compression test. They took over a month to finish even with me constantly calling, they never answered and called me back days after to let me know they are barely ordering my spark plugs, then after all that charged me $1000. I pulled my truck out before they can scam me more and they had an attitude with me. Horrible service save your time and money!

From start to finish I was given false information. At the beginning I was told worse case it would be a week to replace the fuel pump. When I called for a status the day before expected finish the pump had not been ordered. By the end of that day I was told pump was found and would be shipped overnight. That didn’t happen. It was a week and a half before it arrived at the dealership. Overall what was going to take a week it finally was finished in five weeks. Along with that the amount of parts installed was much more than I was told would be needed. I had been told that the fuel pump had not came apart and injectors were not damaged so the system was not contaminated. Even with that they through at the job. During that 5 weeks l made multiple phone just to get different excuses why they had not started the repairs from clearing snow to a tech taking a week off after having a baby. To not having room in the shop. Prior to the truck going into the shop over a weekend the police were called by onstar over an alert from the truck. Only after that the truck was put inside. I was also told I would get updates continually during the five weeks. I received only one the day the pump was located after picking the up the truck had a scratch in the paint that wasn’t the when it was delivered to the shop. Also there were greasy finger prints on the hood and other locations. Upon leaving 9 miles out a check engine light came on I returned to the shop where they diagnosed a faulty NOX sensor. They replace the sensor and cleared the light. From there I left on my journey of 800 miles sat about half way there the engine came on again. I made it to my destination and had a diagnostic check done that identified the NOX sensor was faulty again. Appointment mad at the dealer in Parker Az to research further appointment set for Feb 8th. More to follow

Tyler in the service department was outstanding! We were "on the road" and found we had a likely battery problem. Our issue was diagnosed, and a new battery was installed in an hour or so. We were very, very pleased and appreciated the friendly and fast attention and service.

The communication between me and the service crew always has issue. I’ve told my colleague to help me pay for the servicing fee as i am working on day time. And told the service crew to leave the car out at the garage for me to pick it up and leave the keys in it. Everyday afterwork i went over wanting to pick up my car, i realise the crew didnt do it at all for 3 days. On the last day because my work started late, i went over with my colleagues to self pick up from them and they told me they might have lost my car key and they have ordered it yesterday. I mean, if you think or already have lost my car key, why wasn’t the customer informed immediately of what happen? I have to find it out myself when i tried to pick up the car. And i have to wait for additional 5 more days to get my car. 3 days + 5 days of my life wasted trip trying to get my car. Really bad experience for me. I’m never going back again.

I scheduled for a fuel pump dash light. After 2 months of them replacing my fuel pump every couple of weeks (waiting for replacement part and scheduling). They decided to replace the pump with an OEM. Then they wanted me to pay for it again. I said no. My fuel pump dash light is on again , but I have lost all confidence in them.

It's the fact that they care that sets them apart. They (especially Jeff, one of the managers) went to extraordinary lengths to make sure that we were happy. You simply don't get that level of personal attention and care from the big dealerships. I would absolutely shop here again.

I’m usually not one to take the time and write a bad review but the lack of integrity the entire Auto Ranch chain of stealerships has is terrible. I bought a 2020 car from them a year ago for the price of a decent used car at 3 years old. Unfortunately there was a lot of hidden damage that was never disclosed to me. Auto Ranch and many other dealerships like to buy cars with salvage titles or accident damage and sell them as “clean title” cars for the price of clean cars. Moral of the story is be very careful when buying a car and don’t bring your business to auto ranch. They do NOT put integrity first and do not care about selling you a safe or reliable car. Included are some pictures of the body damage, check engine light that they cleared before the sale not pictured.

I traded in my truck for a used GMC Sierra and had a great experience here. My sales person, Matt, was awesome. He was not pushy and was patient with all my questions. It was also nice to receive a message from him the following week to ask how I was liking the truck. So many sales people are super friendly until the sale is complete and then will barely say so much as a hello when you see them again. This was not the case with Matt. The sales managers there also took care of me and were very fair.
