Morgantown Floor Trader

I went on a Saturday after calling about hardwood flooring on Thursday. The staff was courteous and helpful. However they only carry engineered hardwood which was not what I wanted. The gentleman called his suppliers to see if they would be open on Monday to help me order through them. It didn't work out but they tried all they could to help.

I’d leave negative stars if we could! This company is horrible. They come out do measurements and months later nothing. Their excuses was people were sick for three months come on! Talked to owner he didn’t seem to care about Kate and the other lady in there that doesn’t do their job. Horrible company and customer service.

GCO recently installed carpet through my townhome (3 floors). I had the entire home painted right before installation and had expressed to them to please take care with the freshly painted walls. I was pleasantly surprised to not find any issues after installation! They also completed a very large job in only two days, staying late the last day in order to complete it (during a snowstorm also)! Easy to work with and very accommodating from estimate to time of completion. I highly recommend them! Great prices and awesome work!

Did our entire house in LVP. There are bubbles where there was uneven under carpet previously. Didn’t ask us if we wanted leveled. Placed wrong color transitions in all of our doors. Had to order and replace ourselves with the correct ones. If you want quality, find another place. You will find the project under my wife’s name Julie Phillips. And we live in Morgantown WV.

Estimate was $300 below what Lowe's gave me. Ordering was easy and my flooring was in stock, and because my project was small, they were able to fit me in on one day the installers had open which was awesome because I had a time crunch on this kitchen flooring project. I had some issues after the installation, and Brian (I believe he's one of the owners) came and fixed it himself. I'm super happy and thankful Paul and Brian listened to my concerns and fixed what was wrong before I left town. I recommend these guys to anyone and would gladly use them again on future flooring and carpeting projects. =)

My mother and I had been shopping around for carpet for her house as she had had the same carpet for the last 10 years and felt it was time for a much overdue upgrade! GCO was but one of several carpet stores that we tried but their prices and friendly staff made them the best choice for us.

A gentleman by the name of George helped us through the entire process from start to finish. George was very friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable and it never felt like he was one of those run-of-the-mill salesman eager to close a deal. George helped explain to us the differences between all of the different types of carpet GCO offers as well as several types of padding that they carry. All things considered, George was an invaluable asset to us.

We will happily do business with them again and would happily recommend them to a friend or family member.
