Marco Miguel, the owner of Moon Construction, was recommended to me by my trusted plumber. I needed a big chunk of sheet rock repaired on my ceiling after a major plumbing issue, in addition to several areas of drywall that I struggled to patch properly myself. Marco responded promptly to my inquiry and arrived exactly at the time he said he would to complete a free estimate, which he emailed me later that day. He was able to complete all of the repairs in a timely fashion as well, and drove from Molalla and back for the job. His rates are more than reasonable and he did an outstanding job. He even cleaned up after himself, leaving my house in better shape than when he found it! He is also an outstanding communicator. I am so happy I went with Moon Construction and will definitely use them again!

We hired Marco to sheetrock and paint over some holes left after we had our house repiped. Marco had done two previous jobs for us so we already knew he did great work, and he did not disappoint us this time around!

After patching, texturing and painting the walls, you couldn't even tell that there were any holes to begin with. We are very lucky to know Marco and will not hesitate to use him in the future. Moon Construction is a tip-top family business that does quality work. I recently had to prep a listing on short notice with quite the laundry list, they were able to fit me into their schedule last minute and got the job done ahead of schedule. The listing has since closed with the new owners already settled in. Just today, finally a weather window, Marco came back to apply another coat of paint on the exterior steps as promised, high five! All are happy with expectations exceeded.

Marco’s son came and did just as good a job as his father wd have done. I can’t believe how little they charge for such excellent work. Not the first time I’ve hired them. Very nice people, too.

Marco returned to sheetrock some holes the plumber had left in our walls, and some were very difficult to do. He also applied orange peel texture so well that you can’t tell where the holes were even a little. He also shows up when he says he’s going to. This was the 3rd time we hired him and we feel very lucky to know him. Highly recommend this jack of all trades.

Marco and his son just finished work on two houses for us. They replaced wood paneling with drywall. Textured and painted the walls. Installed bee windows and a sliding door. Painted walls and cabinets. They were prompt and responsive to questions. Their attention to detail was great. I’ve added some before and after photos. The transformation was amazing!

I'm so glad I hired Marco. He cleaned our gutters, replaced a rotten fascia and sealed something on the roof. He had taken pictures of the work which was really nice. I'd be surprised if I didn't end up hiring him again. Really nice guy.

This father and son team do a good job but I would not hire them again. Thay charged us over $9000 to power wash and do a partial paint job. We asked them to do the stained shingles, the trim color, and the accent color. They weaseled out of part of the shingles and told us the railings were not included in the trim once they were on the job. If they are doing the entire house this would not become an issue, but if you hire them to do specific parts of the job, better clarify what they think they’re excluding! I think they were disingenuous.

We recently replaced all of the windows in our older, 2-story home and needed the exterior trim painted. I reached out to friends who were having their house painted and they enthusiastically recommended their house painter Moon Construction. Marco came and gave us a very detailed bid that impressed the window installers so much they asked for his contact info. So we signed a contract and got in line (yes, they are busy for a reason). As soon as they could, Marco and his son Marco started on our project by carefully sealing the point where our window trim abuts the house shingles (something I hadn't even considered). They then protected all of the shingles from any overspray, applied a beautiful paint job to the trim around all 25 windows, and cleaned up in just 6 days. I can't thank them enough for fitting us in before the weather changed and for doing such a beautiful job.

We had our new window trim and gable painted by Marco and his crew(family) on the hottest days in July and they still finished the job in two days. Awesome work it looks great and they paid attention to all the minor details.

Extremely grateful for this company's service - repairing water damaged flooring. 1) they actually responded to my request whereas a number of other companies throughout Portland did not. 2) owner took care to assess the issue with on-site visit and follow-up estimate/confirmation call within two business days. 3) the work was done timely and exactly as expected. Marco and his team did an amazing job of repairing, patching, and painting trim and walls in a home I had just purchased. Moon Construction just completed the second job for us. In each of the rental properties he started with a dismal house and turned it into something beautiful. Working with his wonderful family he cleaned 10 years of grime off the hard surfaces inside the house, he painted the entire interior, fixed a huge hole in the drywall, removed gross carpet and sealed the floor and baseboard from pet damage, repaired a leaking sky light, and fixed everything that he encountered along the way. He did all of this in a 3 week time working weekends and evenings to meet our schedule. We will definitely hire Marco and Moon Construction again.

He communicated very effectively with us throughout the project. He asked us to write out the work to be done in each room so there was no chance for confusion, updated the written plan as the project unfolded, and responded to texts very promptly.

Marco was also extremely attentive to detail, caulking every tiny gap before starting to paint, taping edges with such care that every line of trim was perfectly straight and unbroken. Each night, his drop cloths and paints were packed up and taken home.

Finally, Marco was affordable. His cost estimates were both reasonable AND completely reliable. We had zero surprises on our project, at least not from Marco. When we discovered rot in our deck days before listing, Marco proposed a good price to fix it and got the job done very fast.

We were scheduled to meet to get an estimate on paint, carpet, and bathroom tile for a project due in one month. They wouldn't paint our home with Sherwin Williams paint (we already had the colors picked out), so we went with another painter. Moon/Marco didn't want to install just the carpet and tile for us because now the project was too small for them, so they cancelled our appointment 1 hour before we were supposed to meet and no longer wanted to work with us.
