Just an awesome job from start to finish! We also wanted to replace skylights and Manny was able to find exact replacements that look beautiful. Also as I suspected there were no proper vents on one side of the house. The MJT crew were able to replace additional plywood and install these all in the same day. The skilled workers were clean and careful around the plants and deck furniture. MJT was recommended by several co-workers and family members and I now can also highly recommend them for your roof replacement also. Chris.

A tree crashed through the roof of our garage! It was destroyed. Manny, his crew and his office staff were so professional, efficient and polite. They kept in touch with us in every aspect of the job. They even did all the preliminary work of negotiating with our insurance to make sure we would have the insurance money available to fix the damage to our satisfaction. They performed the work quickly, neatly and thoroughly, taking care to make sure everything was done to a tee! After constructing the new roof, they removed debris, painted where necessary, checked and adjusted the garage doors and made sure the garage was in good working order. We had a pile of things to dispose of from inside the garage that had gotten ruined after the tree fell and Manny kindly disposed of this for us. Manny went above and beyond. Came out and gave very fair pricing the day I called for a quote (in the rain). After quoting, part of my ridge vent blew off and he came right over in business casual clothes and climbed up to fix it. I knew it was time to sign the contract at that point. While he was doing the re-roof job, he fixed some other things he noticed along the way that should have been done last time the roof was done - even on an addition part of my house he wasn’t re-roofing! I can’t say enough. Manny is a contractor you can truly trust to do the job like it were his own home. Awesome experience!!!

As a new homeowner needing a new roof is scary. We did our due diligence, had a few quotes, but Manny was the only one to actually get on our roof, go into our attic, and take pictures to show us what he found. An addition added onto our house was pitched incorrectly. Manny gave us an quote to include that repair, a completely new roof, along with new skylights and gutters. His quote was extremely competitive and was the only one to include the costs of the repairs that we were certain we needed.

When the day came for our roof, Manny's team is no joke! A team of at least 10 guys came and the old roof was ripped down, the roofline and damage repaired, new roof, skylights, and gutters all installed in a matter of days! His team answered questions, were respectful, and in the few instances when they couldn't assist us, Manny himself came down to take care of it.

The initial meeting to examine the roof, review how they manage projects and answer some questions I had all went well with clear information and a no-pressure approach. Their quote was very reasonable compared to others i received and also clearly stated what would be done and included a couple options with the related pricing. Communication leading up to and through the project also was very good and clear.

There was a fairly large crew on site for the job (6-8 workers) and they did a good job keeping things relatively clean and completing the work quickly. Our house was completed the first day and our oversized 3-car garage on the second day (excluding a couple rainy days in between).

Not only would I recommend MJT roofing. I am going to call Manny next spring to roof our rental house. Manny’s initial quote included a thorough inspection with pictures. His quote was competitively priced. The entire project was documented with hundreds of pictures. This ensured that everything was done correctly. The crew was professional and extremely efficient. A team of 7 - 8 employees showed up early and worked through two very hot summer days. I watched and asked
the foreman many questions as I was concerned with all the angle work. The work came out beautiful! Many people stopped to comment on a job well done. The clean up was amazing. Every piece was picked up and one employee continuously used a magnet tool to ensure the old nails would not be left on the ground. We have used MJT Roofing on several occasions on our property. From a roof replacement on our home, new roof on an addition, and sought their services for demolition on the property, they have been nothing short of awesome. They are prompt, quick and reasonable. I had a leak in my roof due to a cracked roof ventilator cover. Around Oct. 20, I reached out to Manny for an estimate of a repair. He quickly responded and was there to look at the damage on Oct. 24. He gave me an estimate by the end of the week, and as of yesterday, November 8, the job is completed. I asked for photos of progress and was quickly supplied with them.
He and Lisa are very efficient and easy to work with.

The crew arrived at 8:00 AM on both days and worked hard till dark to complete the project. They cleaned up thoroughly and put everything back in place like bird feeders. They are very skilled in what they did so everything came out well. I am thrilled to see the new skylights!

Trying to find a Roofing company that is the real deal UNTIL I stumbled across MJT Roofing. Like they say on the commercials on TV, no games, no gimmicks, just honest to goodness results. I saw this company working on a roof locally, so I called. Manny came when he said he would. He took pictures, climbed up on the roof to examine what I needed fixed and that evening, he e-mailed me a quote. I had other companies come with drones, some seemed very disinterested and so I selected MJT. Their workers came on the date scheduled and I watched the entire time they worked and boy did they work. They were polite, hardworking and did a great job. It took a day and a half to complete the project because of the weather but when they did leave, my property was spotless and they fixed my problem. I would without hesitation recommend MJT Roofing. Very affordable and a pleasure to work with, from Manny, the office staff and the workers.

Had a couple small water spots form on a section of ceiling above a portion of our kitchen. I did a quick Google search for “roofer/siders” in my area and MJT popped up as a hit.

After making calls to other businesses and having little success getting help, MJT flipped the script. We set up an appointment shortly after I called their office, and Manny arrived a few days later, promptly and professionally. I explained to him my concern, and he quickly diagnosed the situation. He even showed me a picture of what he was seeing from the roof by snapping a shot on his phone so he could better explain the problem. He was focused on his work while also being very informative as to why he was doing what he was doing to fix the problem I was having. He never became distracted, even though I would ask him random roofing questions, as he smartly went about his business of repairing the two small hiccups I had with some flashing underneath a portion of shingles on my roof, which was the cause of the water spots on my kitchen ceiling. In less than 20 minutes he was done and had everything squared away.

I’m not sure how other businesses conduct themselves, but they sure could use more folks like Manny. He was an excellent representation of MJT and I have nothing but praise for his work.

I used mjt to do the siding on my house and i was very satisfied with the work they have done . They were very professional i would recommend to family and friends

While they did a great job on my roof, the main thing they did was to install fiber cement (James Hardie) siding to the whole house. The crew was busy all day, except for lunch breaks. No cell phone usage noticed by me during the almost 2 weeks they were here. All workers were polite and were more than willing to accommodate our needs, such as getting in and out of our garage. The owner was very responsive to our suggestions, and would engage us frequently with the choices which were available. The final result is beautiful. I would highly recommend them for roofing or siding.

So far the roof seems to have been properly installed. No defect detected. No problem encountered during the installation. Everything went ahead as planned .The process was seamless.

-TLDR: Clear contract and needs comprehension. Good team, great owner. Had some problems including leaks. All problems were addressed. Good overall experience. Fair price hard work. Would call MJT Roofing for my needs again.

- My experience with MJT Roofing was overall very good with a few notable snags. Contacting and speaking with the owner Manny was
pleasant, straightforward and informative. After we spoke and had a agreed upon plan. I received an assessment, the price to re shingle my roof and install two new skylights was priced average based on other quotes.

-My home has unusual sized skylight, most contractors were stumped by this with no good solution, Manny however was not put off and had a successful work around immediately. From install to present the mid range skylights I chose are very nice just what I wanted and were installed well, no issues.

-The work was completed in just one day, very impressive and the team worked well removing the old roof by mid day and fully installing new shingles, skylights and a few vents by the end of the day. There was a bit of debris left over and a small scratch on a window screen but these were very minor considering the project.

-My roof was older and the previous owner had leaking issues prior to my ownership. I was informed some wood will need replacing. I agreed payed an additional amount to cover the cost and it was taken care of.

-A few days later there was a very heavy down pour of rain. Not long into the storm a bathroom exhaust vent began leaking. I called Manny he picked up that night and advised me to make sure the circuit for the vent fan was off. He came out the next day to take care of it. A couple of weeks later there was a larger storm the vent for the kitchen stove and the large vent for the furnace both leaked. The furnace was a slow leak the visibly soaked the ceiling. While the stove vent would build up water over time and dispense it. After taking a look and discussing both vents were replaced in favor of different styles. The furnace leak was corrected. The stove vent however leaked again but differently. A slow few drips would come down the back of the stove hood. In the end after his 4th time out to fix these problems Manny went with a dryer styled vent with larger flashing, I personally watched him do the work reseal and place everything neatly back into place. I to be safe also put additional sealer on all vents.

-To date there have been many storms, water, high winds and snow/ice no more leaks have occurred. I after waiting to see how everything held up offered to pay Manny for the extra vents he purchased to fix the leaks he declined and asked instead that I write an honest review, problems, leaks and issues included.

-The owner Manny was knowledgeable, informative and responsive. His team did good quality and fast work. When a issue such as multiple leaks arose he was responsive, timely and did not give up on fixing the issues coming out no less then 4 times to reevaluate and rework the problem. My experience was not without a few snags but I gained knowledge and experience from it, I feel if my roof has a new problem in the future it would be addressed. If I was going to do it again I would not hesitate to call MJT Roofing.

The staff and crew are very professional and hard working. They protected my property and the yard was well cleaned when the job was finished. They showed up on time and kept me informed of any issues.

I can’t imagine a worse experience. What was quoted as a two week project got dragged out for 8 months. Every part of the job that was started got delayed because they ordered incorrect or insufficient materials. There was no communication through out the project. If we didn’t chase them down for information they wouldn’t provide it. They were unprofessional, disrespectful and clearly amateurs at what they do. Trash and building materials were left inside my home for months. My house was left exposed to the elements for several months (because they started a job not realizing they didn’t have the right materials). My basement was flooded due to their negligence causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Everywhere I turn I find more poor craftsmanship. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Edit: business claims they couldn’t get accurate measurements due to COVID. This is false- they had full access to the property inside and out and failed to take measurements prior to ordering materials. In addition, ground level windows that were ordered were the wrong size as well. Work began prior to verification leaving the home exposed for several months due to supply chain issues. Both exterior doors needed to be replaced multiple times due inaccuracies as well. The companies failure to accept responsibility for these errors is further evidence as to why they should not be trusted.

I am so impressed with MJT. They are prompt and totally professional. MJT did a beautiful, thorough job even when I added a change to the plans shortly before they started work. I recommend them 100%.

Mr.Kelso came out to take a look which would lead to an Estimate but instead , He came, point out all the problems that needed immediate attention and while making an assessment He fixed the small issues that would leave my whole House in a pool of Water if it rain . What could be a Disaster if it rain ,turned into a Blessing when mr. Kelso took time out to seal areas and flaps that were lifted on the Roof .He explained and showed me what needs to be done to get my Roof in top shape and safe. We had water coming through the hood in our kitchen. The hood vent pipe runs through the attic and out the roof. The section of roof where the vent pipe is located is 3 stories high. I called MJT Roofing and Manny was at our house the same day and was willing to go up onto a snow covered roof. He said he found the issue but in order to repair it, it needed to be dry and to call once the snow had melted. We called a few days later and again Manny arrived the same day. Manny fixed the issue and no more leak! Manny couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I would highly recommend MJT Roofing to everyone who needs anything done roof related. Thanks Manny!

MJT replaced my entire roof - 1600 square feet of shingles as well as a large one piece flat roof system above a loft area. The crew consisted of the owner, Manny, and six employees and they completed all of the work and clean up in one work day.
The crew operated like a well practiced team and paid attention to preventing damage to the property. My home was wrapped in a protective netting that allowed discarded roof materials to glide to the ground without disturbing my extensive landscape plantings. Cleanup was perfect. The workmanship was excellent and the price very competitive.

MJT Roofing replaced the roof (and a rafter) and installed soffit vents on our home in September 2019. When I noticed a leak in our roof, I shopped around for a few quotes. MJT Roofing stood out to us for not only their competitive pricing but also for their professionalism and exceptional customer service. When we met with other roofing companies for quotes, they would stop by with printed satellite images of our roof and give us broad ballpark estimates to sell top of the line shingles. However, when Manny (MJT owner) stopped by to give us a quote, he took his time to not only educate us on the roofing process and the various options available, he also made sure to climb the roof and visit our attic to give us a thorough and accurate personalized quote. Not only that, he also made note of the lack of ventilation in our attic and explained to us how this could contribute to delaminated plywood and shorten our roof lifespan. It is with this personalized attention that we were made aware of a potential problem that could cost us thousands in the long run.

Because we had an active leak, Manny was able to schedule our appointment date rather quickly. I would like to note that I was able to reach Manny every time I reached out (before, during, and even after) the process on his cell phone. We hired MJT to replace our roof because I liked dealing directly with the owner of the company (Manny) and because they provided a competitive quote. Manny and his guys arrived early on the day promised and got right to work. Throughout the day Manny kept me advised of progress and repeatedly asked if I had any questions or concerns. It was clear that no shortcuts were being taken and that the Owens-Corning roofing system was being installed properly. The job was complete by about 4pm - It looks great, and the cleanup was very thorough. I definitely recommend MJT for your roofing project.

We recently had our roof, soffits and gutters replaced by MJT Roofing. Manny and his team were very professional. They arrived early in the morning and took great care in moving outdoor items around the house that may have obstructed their work area. They also took care in protecting the home by surrounding the house with a protective cloth. The team worked hard throughout the day and were able to finish the roof and soffits in one day! At the end of the day they combed the area around the house for stray nails or other sharp objects and also put back any items they had moved around earlier that morning.
They did a tremendous job! Manny followed-up with us a few days after the gutter project was completed by one of his colleagues.
The quote for our project was in line with other area contractors, but it was Manny’s professionalism and attention detail within the quote that was the deciding factor.
