Howdy all: So where do I start? Well let me say that the crew from Mississippi Roofing Pros LLC are first rate professionals. The gave my old roof an extensive review and determined all the weaknesses and problems that needed to be addressed. Was it more expensive than other reviews? No, they did not charge for the estimate and provided a fair review, pointing out all the issues that needed to be addressed. They estimated what certain boards needed to be replaced and were straight up with what extra boards would run if needed. I knew that it might be higher because until you pull off the old shingles you could not know the true extent of the damages, but with their review I knew what additional charges I might encounter. No hidden expenses. And they did not high pressure sell their services. Everything was above board. When my wife and I hired Mississippi Roofing Pros, they bought the proper permits from the City of Jackson that were required for the work. We did not have to deal with the city in search of the needed permits. My roof was more water damaged than I first thought and even had a portion of the ceiling collapse, but they cleaned it up and brought in a specialist to make the repair. Mississippi Roofing Pros use first rate roofing materials from GAF and make sure the customer knows of the warranty. They are bonded and insured and attend the roofing process from start to finish. Corey Bolton and Rock Pittman are the owners and they worked with me in determining the best day to begin the work. And with the rainy spring weather, that made planning a week to week process until we had a solid week of dry weather. The crew started from early in the morning to early evening and made several magnetic sweeps to make sure no debris was left to puncture any tires. The cleanup was professionally done and they hauled away the old roof shingles and damaged wood. The crew was very professional. Hard working roofers who only took a couple of breaks off in shifts so that work would continue undisturbed. And the owners have followed up with inspections after the work, not that they don't trust their crew, but to make sure everything is done to the customer's satisfaction. The new roof looks great! My wife and I were first given a selection book to choose the shingles that would go best on our house and they make for a very attractive roof. Having lived with a leaking roof for almost a year, it is great to not to have any worry. And one final point, if you need a new roof or extensive roof repairs, give Mississippi Roofing Pros a call. They might be a smaller company than some others, but they are professional, licensed and bonded and will work with the client. Give them a call.
