This is a well organized company that does quality work. MilMar helped us find the perfect size and location for our building. They made the process from building design, to contract, to construction to a finished building extremely quick and easy. The communication was fantastic each step of the way. Really satisfied with the final product. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were very impressed with Marvin's (the owner) communication with us and he presented us with a very fair quote. He was very quick with getting questions answered. His quoting process is hassle free. We unfortunately didn't build because of some circumstances that came up with our township. We definitely would have worked with MilMar Post Buildings if we did decide to build. If you are thinking of building I would encourage you to reach out and get a hassle free quote.

I ended up going for a fixer-upper on some land and did not get to use MilMar for an actual build, but the customer service I received from Jerome while I was exploring different building options was so good I decided to leave a five-star review. Very responsive and willing to talk through many options.

Milmar is a fantastic company to deal with. Between the excellent online tools and the consultative care from Jerome, Jack, Matt and Marv I would highly encourage you to entrust them with your dream projects. The building space can be hard to navigate but the team here makes it quite easy. I knew very little about pole barns going in but they made me feel confident in every decision we made together. Transparent, efficient and professional all the way. Couldn't be happier with every interaction I have had with them!

Milmar Post Buildings is a very professional outfit. I worked with several of their staff and every one had the same high level of responsiveness and knowledge of the product and services they provide. Would highly recommend considering them if you are building a post building.

Milmar pole buildings recently built a 36 x 48‘ horse barn for us. I started working with Milmar creating a design that would work for us last August, I was not really sure what I wanted but Milmar help me discover a barn that could fit all of our needs. We eventually decided on a concept and Jack came up with drawings and sent us an estimate/invoice. The estimate was great because it is a bunch of optional additions that included their price which was nice because we could pick and choose what we wanted. We compared other builders and other manufacturers however we ended up coming back to Milmar, because what they had to offer was unmatched in the area and truly I believe in the industry. We ended up settling on a barn and put down a deposit. Fast forward a few months to this past April when they started building. The builders were some of the best I have ever seen, even for me having been in construction all of my life. Within four days they had the structure and framing up as well as the trusses. Within two weeks all of the metal siding was on as well as the interior framing and overhangs complete. We waited another week and they finished insulating the inside with Tongue and groove lumber. Since we decided to use the old concrete pad of our old building, they made the new one surround it and we use the same concrete as the old pad had. Milmar was great to deal with since we didn’t want to pour a whole new pad. They had a massive barn complete within three weeks. The only issue we had with entire build what is the wait time with the doors. Milmar Use as a company called Silvercraft doors for their Dutch doors and higher and sliding doors. Silver cross took 2 1/2 months to build it and we waited a little bit for that however none of this was Milmar’s fault. As soon as the doors arrived, they were there the next day to install them, they looked amazing in the finished product is great as well. I will be using Milmar for a future project coming in the next year, they are a great company and would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about post frame and beyond. MilMar recently build my new custom barn. I am very happy with the team at Milmar and my new barn. From design to dealing with the building codes in the Chicago area all work was carried out professionally and communication during the process was great. It did not help that we were just coming out of Covid and the weather did not make it easy on the crew building the barn. Rained most days but they made it. The site was clean every night as well as when the job was finished. The crew lead was fantastic. I was very impressed with his ability to get things done properly and safely with limited assistance. Milmar built a 34 x 56 pole barn for me two years ago. Was very pleased with the workmanship and quality and have no issues except for two things which had nothing to do with them at all. They replaced two defective windows and repaired an overhead door with no questions asked. Overall, much more pleased with my barn then with my house that I was having built at the same time by a different contractor. Had I known, I would’ve had Milmar frame the house also.

My wife and I decided to have a pole building house built. A friend of ours recently had a pole barn built by Milmar buildings. He spoke highly of them and their quality of work. So we decided to give them a shot. My wife and I could not be more happy with the work they have done. Great people to work with, and good quality work.

From our first meeting with Marvin and Jack we were impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness. All of our emails and questions were answered right away. The building itself is just beautiful. Everything moved quickly and and the building was finished in just a couple of weeks. They are definitely good at what they do! We would highly recommend this company to build your pole barn!

It's been over a year now and I LOVE my barn. 36' x 40' x 14' in Vicksburg, Mi. The build took slightly longer than I hoped, (mainly from weather) but I couldn't be happier with the final result. Jack and Marv were both great to work with. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. 5 stars from me.

Exceptional experience. 5 star communication with Jack the salesman, continued on with Marv the builder/owner. Building is flawless. (36x60x14). Built on time. Sooo glad I went with the recommended small upgrades Jack and I discussed. (A few windows, no condensate roof & block it wrap). Feel free to come see it if you're in Angola. Would absolutely hire Milmar again.

Milmar recently completed a 32 x 56 barn for us in Michigan. Jack was great a planning and project management. The crew did an outstanding job with the build. Hat's off to Marv the owner, they are a great builder!

They built a 40x30 gable roof (second story for storage) pole barn and I have been very pleased.

Professional and provide a quality finished product. I had constant contract with the owner, Marv, the salesman, Jack, and the crew foreman. If I asked for clarification or adjustments, they were very proactive!

Concrete inside and outside the barn poured by their crew as well. It’s a masterpiece!

Our experience with MilMar was great. Their communication was excellent throughout. I dealt with Jack, Marvin, and Dan and they all responded to my calls and messages very promptly. I made a few changes to our barn along the way and Jack and the crew took them all in stride without a hitch. Everyone did what they said they would, when they said they would. That's a big deal to me and much appreciated. The building itself is impressive. Quality materials were used, and Dan and the crew are fast and good at what they do. We love our awesome new building. I have already referred MilMar to a co-worker of mine and absolutely recommend them.

This place is by far the best place to have work done. Their barns are well established. I first hand have seen MilMar building barns, they take their time, make sure everything is in tip top shape. You won't be dissatisfied with MilMar. I star rate them a 5 because their workers and work they do is outstanding. Never leave a job not finished.

Everyone told me there was no way to get a barn built during the winter in Michigan but I had no choice and had to find someone to build it. Milmar called back when no one else would. Milmar built the barn in the snow and freezing temps when no one else would. When I had questions Marv answered right away. When I needed something taken care of he took care of it. I will be using them again for my next building.

We were very satisfied with Milmar Post Bldgs. They put up a 36' x 36' bldg with concrete. This post bldg was done with siding and shingles. It matches the home perfectly. The work was on schedule and was done in the time frame that was promised. The communication was excellent. We appreciate Marvin's availability to answer all of our questions and for taking the time to make sure we were pleased throughout the process. We would consider using Milmar Post Buildings in the future.

Marv and his crew are outstanding. They do excellent work, but you can find that a lot of places. What really sets them apart in my view is their honesty and integrity. There was never any question in my mind that I was being treated fairly, that I would be treated fairly if something went amiss, and that the work would be done right. I own several investment properties, and have hired numerous contractors over the years, and Marv stands head and shoulders above the rest. Highly recommend.

Our overall experience was very good. We live about five hours north of where Milmar is located so it was not an easy build for them. The workers were excellent, and they were prompt and worked very long hours. The guys also were very accommodating even when changes were made after the building was going up.
My main contact was Jack McDonell. He was professional and responded to texts, emails, and phone calls quickly. He made sure that our needs were being met. My interactions with Marv Miller were also very positive. There were a couple of glitches (as is the case with any building project), and Marv saw to it that they were corrected.
I would highly recommend this company.

I have known Marvin Miller for about three years and have actually seen several of his projects over the last two years. I have three close friends that he has built buildings for--one pole barn and two frame-built structures, that were extremely pleased. Also, I have talked to a few more of his customers, and while there were some that were unhappy, there were several more that were pleased with his work. I was very disappointed to see nothing but bad reviews that have been given. Unfortunately, people that are mad at someone are much more prone to give public reviews than those that are satisfied. I would highly recommend Milmar to anyone needing a pole barn or a framed house.
