I had a total roof replacement due to storm damage by the people at Mills Siding and Roofing.
My experience with Lou and Ty Mychek and Jaclyn Kadolph was a very positive one and guided me through. They were very personable and knowledgeable.
The Job was done very quickly over two days and the finished job looks fantastic.

Very high quality and speedy service of roof, gutters and eaves installation. Very professional as well. Will Massey is a super guy for helping throughout the project and very easy going and easy to talk to. We highly recommend Mills for roofing projects.

I had my roof replaced last fall. The workers didn't speak any English, so it was hard to communicate with them. The day they finished, they left my house with three window screens torn, some leftover old shingles hanging. I called my rep if someone is going to fix the window screens and I was advised that it is something we can fix ourselves. Almost a year later, I finally got $150 deducted for the three window screens. Customer service was great at the beginning but once they have your business, you are just another number. The rep was non responsive but when he needs something from you he wants you to do ASAP. So, no, I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone I care about.

Unfortunately I had a poor experience with this company. The sales rep did not communicate well throughout the entire project, my project was pushed into the next year (insurance issues) without proper notification, had mold issues based on moisture (assuming from roof/hail damage), roofing team did not order enough materials (intially) and had to use tarps to cover open roof. Came back a day later to finish. Gutter repair information was not properly communicated, so I used a different company for the claim. Roof, once finished, is good quality.

The Mills team did a fantastic job…and nothing could have been easier from my standpoint. They worked with me and my insurance company from the beginning through the entire process and it was worry free…and the roof looks great!

We recently explored having Mills Roofing and Siding replace our roof due to some storm damage. I sent in an inquiry, was contacted the next day by a representative and had a project manager, Jack, come out to our home all within 48 hours! It was crazy, I thought, this place is awesome. Well, the dazzle has faded and now I am left feeling that it is everything but awesome. After the project manager, Jack, came out, it was radio silence. We did not get a follow up report, communication or any inspection findings/recommendation - just silence. Giving them the benefit of doubt, we waited. I texted the number that, Jack our project manager, had used a few days later. I never got a response. The first week passed without any communication, so I decided to reach out through the company phone number. I again connected with a representative and explained what was going on. They apologized and said they would send a note to the appropriate department and ensure we got our report. That was almost 2 weeks ago, so a total of 3 weeks has passed without any communication on what they recommended. I had heard things in the past about Mills maybe not being 100% ethical, and perhaps they saw our roof and decided they could not “scam” the insurance company and therefore it would not be worth their time. I truly do not know what happened. What I do know is that we will never engage with this company again and I would encourage those who value integrity to stay away as well.

Professional, competitive pricing. They explained every step of the process and where willing to talk to my insurance company if there was a problem. Work crew was efficient, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Quality workmanship, definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

In a review you typically only share details of the work performed and the people doing the work. The work, the workers, and the results were all great. But after now having our roof replaced for a second time with Mills I want to also add what incredible people occupy the main office. In every interaction I was treated with the greatest respect and afforded every courtesy. It was unique in my experience. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Kevin K came out today and looked at our roof and spoke with my wife. I could clearly see the spots he circled and pointed out to her. I really appreciate his time.

Big roof job was completed in two days. No disruptions to myself. City inspection yielded swift approval, and no issues encountered as of the time this review is being written, about 6 weeks after job completion.

Constantly leave flyers on my door. I keep politely asking them to stop, but they don’t. Their employees walk on everyone’s lawns too when passing out the flyers in the neighborhood. I am going to make sure I tell everyone I know to never use your company because you do this. I feel like I’m being harassed.

In 2023, there was a hail storm that damaged my roof and others in my neighborhood. Mills swooped in on us and raked up the business. I figured it would be easy as they worked with my insurance to replace it. Here it is 2025. We recently painted our kitchen nook and noticed a yellow bleed through stain on the ceiling in two spots a couple of weeks later. Since the roof is under warranty, I called Mills to report it. This was mid-March. I waited two more weeks and called again since I had no response yet. This time, the girl who answered the phone said she would give my problem "top priority." I have yet to hear from them, and tomorrow is May 1. My husband has since treated it and repainted while we were also getting quotes for vinyl trim. One of the quoting contractors got up on the roof and identified a problem with some flashing near a valley. At this point, I am very frustrated at the lack of warranty service...and if I should need to make another insurance claim, I'm sure the insurance company won't be happy either. Where will Mills' business be if the insurance carriers catch wind of claims like mine and others?

This is a follow up...today is June 25. I registered my problem (again) using the Mills mail address given in their canned polite response to this review. This was the day after my posting and now over a month ago! I am still waiting for even one phone call or even an idea as to when I might expect them to come fix it. I'd be interested for others to report their experiences with Mills here, too.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy to communicate with. Roofing crew were very professional and they cleaned up beautifully. The roof looks great. I highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They showed up at my door offering a free roof inspection and quickly claimed I had hail damage that warranted a full roof replacement through insurance. They marked up my shingles with chalk and insisted I file a claim right away, even saying they’d handle everything with my adjuster. They came to my house three separate times in two days, which felt overly aggressive and pushy.

Thankfully, I got a second opinion from a much more professional company that did a 21-point inspection, including photo and video documentation of both my roof and attic. They confirmed that my roof is in excellent condition with no damage, and that the spots marked by Mills were just normal wear and tear.

It’s extremely concerning that Mills Siding & Roofing was so eager to push an insurance claim for a full replacement when it clearly wasn’t needed. This type of tactic can lead homeowners into making unnecessary claims that could affect their premiums or even result in denied coverage.

I strongly recommend getting a second (or third) opinion before working with this company, and don’t feel pressured into filing a claim you’re not comfortable with.

Mills Roofing did an outstanding job and they were very easy to work with. Had an insurance claim for our roof in the Winter of 2023 and they were out in the Spring of 2024 with their team. Very efficient and hardworking guys did our entire (large) house and barn in 2 days.

A friend of mine referred me to Mills Siding and Roofing for storm damage of my roof. I spoke to Austin Priebe at Mills about the storm damage and he suggested I file an insurance claim for replacing the roof. Upon filing the claim, the insurance adjuster inspected the roof and assessed the replacement cost of the roof. Then Austin promptly provided samples of shingles to choose from. After selecting the shingles, the roof replacement crew came and finished the job in 3 days. Overall, they have done a very good job of replacing the roof. And the procees of payment went smoothly with Jeff from Mills Siding and Roofing who collected the checks in person in the beginning and after completing the job. I highly recommend Mills Siding and Roofing to anyone for replacing any damaged roof.

A legit company with a legit purpose. In today’s environment, there’s a lot of door-to-door scams. After considerable research, I found that Mills Siding and Roofing is a professional organization that cares for its customer? Andrew, their sales associate, had a stepwise progression that walked me through the insurance claim process. His organizational skills made this a seamless process, and I received a new roof that resolved known damage from a hail storm the previous season. The material options were of the highest quality. Additionally, the roofing crew was easy to work with and were very efficient and completed the process all in one day. Though there was an hour or two touch up and clean up on day two, it was unobtrusive. I appreciated the level of professionalism and communications throughout the process. Mills Siding and Roofing is a trusted company for customers like me, that looks at every good deal as a come-on. To my benefit, I’m glad I trusted this company.

I had the chance to work with Mills Siding and Roofing after we were notified that our neighborhood was impacted by storm damage. One of their sales team representatives, Taylor Schneider, got in touch with us and we decided to have our roof inspected. After inspection, it was determined that we had roof, eve, downspout, and garage door damage. Following the inspection, we entered a claim and and an insurance adjuster came out to confirm the damage. The sales team member from Mills was outstanding and helped walk us through every step of the process. Once receiving approval from the insurance company, the team setup a date for the roof removal and repairs. The roofing team showed up a few weeks later (right on schedule) and completed the work in just over a day. The roofing team did a great job with tearing off the old roof and installing the new roof and made sure to cleanup around the house. After the roof, another the team came out to replace the gutters and downspouts. This was done in about a day. Once again, the team did an outstanding job removing the old gutters and downspouts and replacing with new. Finally, we had the garage door replaced. As we went through the process with Mills, we decided to make some changes to the color scheme and freshen the house up a bit. Mills always let us know what was covered and what we were required to upgrade ourselves. In the end, Mills made it a very smooth process. What seemed like a very daunting process at the beginning, ended up being very easy with Mills' help. In addition, we ended up getting our home repaired with the confidence knowing our house will be in great shape for years to come.

Edit - sent us a mailing saying we had a recent hailstorm that might have damaged the roof. 3 years ago was our last hailstorm. This company is slimy. Solicited in a neighborhood with No Soliciting signs posted at entranceway, in a Township where a soliciting permit would be required... After being told not to, they came back a different day. Sheriff is now looking for them to issue a citation. Mills, 'dis you?

EDIT: While cleaning my gutters I found some mistakes with the installation (dip edge not installed right in multiple spots with wood showing). I called Mills and got no helpful response. The said they would send a crew out ASAP, but never did, despite multiple asks on my part. After being persistent, they finally texted me back and said they couldn't find a crew to fix the work. They asked me to have someone else perform the repair and that they would reimburse me. The problem is that no reputable local roofing company wants to fix and be held responsible for the mistakes of Mills.

After a recent storm, they were again selling roofs in the neighborhood. I again asked if they could send someone to fix it and received no response. They do not stand by their work...use a local company.

They achieve so many positive google reviews by enticing people with a reward.
