Isaac was a true professional. He treated my home with respect and thoroughly documented his work. Isaac quickly diagnosed my A/C problem and offered a solution. We saw almost immediate results. I’m very impressed. Customer for life.

Sean was extremely professional and thorough when servicing our HVAC system today. During this maintenance visit, he found and corrected issues that would have caused serious damage to our home. Thank you Sean and Michael & Sons!

The technician guy was nice and polite. It wasn’t his fault, but I called and agreed to pay the $69 service call fee, after they stated to even get a quote of how much they would charge to come out here, you have to pay the $69 fee, only to find out they have a standard flat rate fee they charge for a ceiling fan install, so if the company has a flat rate fee, why could they not tell you that over the phone before sending a tech out to your home? Because if they tell you how much they charge, then they can’t charge you $69 to send someone out, or at least get some money out of you. I was anticipating $150-$200 tops for a ten min job of putting in a ceiling fan. Tech shows up, and informs me it will cost $359, to put in a ceiling fan. I’m sorry, I am a single mom, with two boys going to school, and the ceiling fan was for their bedroom to give them a new light and a ceiling fan, this is an old house, and my boys where excited to actually have a light in their room so they can see, and something to provide air as this home doesn’t have central air or heat. Had to pay $69 of money I really didn’t have just to waist, because a company would rather rip off a customer, than be upfront and honest and provide the quotes they charge for a standard small job, because they know their prices are outrageous, and this way, they at least get something out of you, no matter if they do anything or not. This company may be good for others, or people who have allot of money, or don’t live off a fixed income. But for a small job of installing a ceiling fan, $359. That’s WAY TO MUCH TO CHARGE ANYONE!! And again, they could have just told me they had a flat fee for the job I called about. And I don’t like dishonest companies that feel they are big enough to just tape and rip people off! I don’t recommend you calling or using this company if you don’t like getting ripped off and or live on a tight budget. If your rich and moneys no cost, then maybe this companies for you.

Isaac Brandon arrived on a Sunday after our ac unit quit. The heat index was about 100F and he was very meticulous to diagnose our issue. His friendly attitude and patience were very helpful. I am very pleased with the work Ryan Van Horn performed. My vent pipe in my attic was broken and needed repaired and hooked back up. Ryan did an exceptional job performing the repair. It looks really nice and I’m so happy my bathroom isn’t venting into my attic now. I can’t say enough good things of which I have experienced with Michael and Sons technicians. We needed a repair on the unit since it shut off the night before. When we called for an after hours service call, Isaac came out and took care of the issue. Gave everything a once over and was able to get the house cooling down again. Provided us with great advice to care for the system to prevent the issue from happening again as well.

Jason was courteous, friendly, efficient, and professional. We appreciate his work and look forward to seeing him again should the need arise.

Detrick was the plumber that arrived at my house to do regular water heater maintenance. He was very respectful and knowledgeable about the service. The job was done thoroughly and in less time than I expected. I appreciated his professionalism and demeanor. Thank you Detrick for the awesome job!

Mr Harris was just great. He has apparently solved the water heater issues that have plagued us since we took ownership last October. Very easy to work with, as was the office in Ruckersville, with the one small hiccup we had. All in all, very professional; I’ll call them again should the need arise.

Zack did an awesome job diagnosing and fixing the issues with my panel. He also took the time to explain everything and gave some electrical 101 knowledge, too. Would definitely have him out to the house again to work on the panel.

The technician was talking down to me. He told me I was confused.
I was shocked over the price of the estimate he gave me.
He asked me if I had any family members that could step in on my behalf and make a decision for me.
I have never been so insulted in my life.

When our HVAC started showing error messages. Brandon came out photographed the message and inspected our unit. Additional surge protection was added and our dusty coils cleaned. He was courteous on time and efficient. Couldn't be happier with the service he provided.

Carderious Bowles and Seth Baker both did a wonderful job. They worked quickly and efficiently. They are both professional and polite. I will continue to use Michael and Sons. Detrick did an excellent job flushing out my water heater. April is coordinating final steps for the water line inspection. Everything is looking good.

Christian replaced and installed two fans, two vanity light fixtures, and two lighting fixtures
. He was polite and calm throughout, despite the high temperatures inside and outside.

The experience was great. Russell was very knowledgeable and showing me the issues with my electrical and what would need to be done was very helpful on everything. Russell did a very good job on servicing my generator also, five stars!!!!

The technician was very knowledgeable and thorough in his inspection. He took time to review his findings and recomendations giving us options but not a pushy salesman.

Sean Young came to do our semi-annual HVAC inspection. He arrived on time, promptly started his inspection. He completed all work in a professional and cheerful manner. Wry knowledgeable and answered all questions without hesitation. Great HVAC technician, always a pleasure to see him.

Great young man. Showed up on time with a call ahead of time to let us know his exact time of arrival. The service was carried out extremely well from all I can see and we ordered some additional improvements to our system to be carried out in the next two weeks. Very satisfied.

Ryan made the plumbing inspection easy. I had a couple of concerns about an outside access point and a loud toilet fixture and he either addressed them or put my mind at ease by thoroughly inspecting them and verifying they were working properly. He suggested helpful preventative steps in a manner that was informative rather than trying to sell me on a service which I really appreciated! Ryan did a great job.

Matthew Farris did an excellent job. Although it was a simple taskb it was a bit tedious but he was patient and demonstrated work that M/son should be proud of. Thank you M/son for your service

I noticed around 1pm in the afternoon that our digital thermostat was not on. My wife made a phone call into the office and Caleb was here within time that was told to us. He was very professional and courteous. He did some troubleshooting of the unit and found that our drain line was stopped up. He did what was necessary to unstop the line and ran some post checks to make sure that everything was working properly. A very nice young man. I give him 5 stars on his performance.

The techs replaced the electric panel that provides electric service to the home. They were courteous, friendly, efficient and kept me informed of the process as the work proceeded during the course of the work. One goal was to limit the length of time power was off. We are gold members of Michael&Son services and have happy with their service when needed. I can heartily recommend them for necessary work at your home.

Josh arrived on time to perform an annual checkup for my household electrical system. Everything checked out fine except for one GF interrupted outlet in our bathroom. Josh located and reconnected the neutral line which restored the outlet to safe operation. Josh did excellent work in short order. He was competent, friendly, and honest.
