Michael is the best! Very satisfied with his work on the mudroom and half bath remodel project. Michael helped transform an old neglected addition into a functional, well-insulated room of the home. This job required the full range of general contracting work (electrical, plumbing, tiling, flooring, drywall/insulation, painting, custom woodwork)- all of which he did himself! His customer service is second to none. He was happy to change direction mid-job, and even followed up weeks after job completion for minor touch-ups. He even brought treats for the pets on occasion. If you’re looking for a local, general contractor who does top quality work and is reasonably priced, look no further than MGS- Would highly recommend!

I found Michael when I was looking for a refresh to my home's exterior. His contact info was on a contractor's kiosk at Menards. He's a one-man-show, does all the work himself. No subcontracting. My project kept getting delayed on Michael's end, but eventually, after a month's delay, got scheduled. I had faux stone siding installed on the front of my home, had the interior of my garage insulated and drywalled and my exterior chimney whitewashed. Michael was very accommodating with any request I had and even though there were delays due to not having enough product from time to time, while onsite my projects went smoothly. Most days he didn't arrive until late morning, due to picking up product or something. It was clear he hadn't installed faux stone siding before, as he took down and reinstalled several sections because it wasn't turning out to his standards. I really appreciated that attention to detail. He brought me some yummy donuts a couple of mornings. The final look turned out wonderful and I am happy with the results. I did have to call him back due to some exterior trim coming loose, but he was quick to respond and has mentioned many times to call him if I need anything.

I would not hesitate to use Michael in the future, should my need arise.
