His expertise in coordinating all the trade crews (plumbing, water, gas and drainage; carpentry, structural, interior dry wall; even electrical work), permitting and knowledge of current code requirements made for really smooth inspections with no hiccups!
He helped us so much in selecting and procuring our new kitchen and laundry appliances, bathroom tile and kitchen counter tops; even helping with paint color selection.

Edward "Leo" Menchu and his team did an excellent and professional job in replacing and installing laminate floors due to a massive leak toilet in the bathroom at one of my parent's rental property in Bellflower. They also removed clogged and leaking old cast iron waste water pipes and replaced it with newer PVC alternative which are cost effective and sanitary. Throughout the whole process they are always on time, efficient, organized and trustworthy. Leo was always available at the job site to answer questions or to help and direct his team if needed. He also gives honest and reasonable quotes for any construction jobs big or small. Without hesitation and undoubtedly we recommend Menchu's construction to the fullest 100% !!!

Leo was recommended to us when we decided to remodel my husband's family home to rent out. The house had a lot of problems, including a persistent leak that previous contractors were unable to fix. Leo isolated that leak and made the repairs necessary to eliminate it. He works with professional subcontractors whose work is top notch. You get what you pay for and with Leo you get high quality work completed on a timely basis. He did such great work that we hired him to remodel a second and third house. Each time, his work was excellent and he was always on time. We highly recommend Leo for any project you may have. He is worth every penny!

My husband and I bought our Hermosa Beach townhome in summer 2023. Over the past year, Edward Menchu was invaluable to recreating the space and making the overall renovation a success. Edward easily added the ceiling beam to my living room, built a custom shelf with storage, and turned a drab counter into a cute dry bar. He also installed difficult light fixtures and replaced my old fireplace with a slab of quartz, gas logs and mantle. Overall, we could not be more happy! Edward was always on time, professional and cost effective. He is a family man and cares greatly about his clients! We consider him a dear friend and will use him for future work.

Edward is the most responsable person we have ever worked with. He is super attentive, clean and does at amazing job. We did a couple of jobs around our house and we cannot emphasizes how satisfied we are with his company!
