MCAS roofing put a beautiful new roof on my house. Mike and Justine were great to work with and the crew was fast and professional. After the new roof was on we had some intense rain, and a leak that had been there before was still leaking. MCAS had their guys come back out twice to fix the leak. After the second fix we had another big rainstorm and the leak was gone! That is good service and I highly recommend MCAS.

The service was fast, clean, and efficiently completed in a single afternoon. The cost was consistent with my previous Velux skylight replacement service, offering excellent value compared to another estimate that was twice as high and included attempts to sell unrelated items. MCAS was highly professional, focusing solely on completing the job correctly and at a fair price. As a bonus, the technician even kindly reattached a high section of my gutter at no extra charge.

Mike came by and walked me through what he was thinking for the spec roof I wanted: 23 skylights, part flat roof, part shingle. I felt comfortable using MCAS because I saw the job they did on my neighbor's custom roof and it gave me the confidence to move forward with MCAS –– and I was and am still happy with the results. Not only are each of the skylights fitted correctly and completely watertight, but the amount of copper Mike used would make Abraham Lincoln blush.

The price was reasonable and the work, exceptional.

We have been working with MCAS and its predecessor (C&C) for more years than we can count. They have performed regular inspections, cleaned our gutters, and answered any questions we had over the years. They were always conservative about suggesting new work, which I appreciated! However, after 27 years in our home -- and the roof was older than that -- it was finally time to put up a new roof. MCAS gave us a reasonable estimate and completed the job in about three days. While they discovered a few unexpected "extras" during the process, they explained everything clearly and charged a reasonable price for any additional work. They also cleaned up the attic, which had some loose detritus from all the pounding on the roof, and patched up our sagging porch ceiling. Everything looks great and we have not had any more leaks in our kitchen ceiling. And, as a bonus, it stopped raining for a month after they finished! (OK, we can't give them credit for that.)

First off, Mike and Justine were a pleasure to deal with. After getting leaks, I had a roof-over done by MCAS of my whole (large) roof. Mike explained well any pluses and minuses of this vs a total new roof replacement. His guys were professional, on time and available for questions. Also, as he correctly warned, I would need new skylights ultimately due to eventual leakage - MCAS did this as well. My highest recommendation.

MCAS was very easy to do business with. Mike spent time going over my roof with me and added in more venting which is why we had softness going on. It was our second roof living in my house for 35 years. This time we ripped the wood. The time of year with Covid prices of lumbar were high but starting to come down. He quoted a price with intentions to give me a refund if it should come down more which he did. I have recommended this company to my neighbors and friends. We can sleep well at night knowing there is a brand new roof to protect us.

I was very happy with the job and communication from MCAS. They weren’t able to come on the original date due to bad weather but two days later we had a perfect day to work and they did the entire roof in one day. The gutter were done a few days later and that only took a few hours. Unfortunately we both overlooked the need to replace a skylight but they noticed it that morning, went to get a new one and installed it with the rest of the roof that day. I thought they had great communication, their pricing was fair and they did great work.

We had a recurring leak and they added copper flashing to the valley and replaced all the necessary tiles. They are always professional, neat and courteous. The office staff is always responsive, helpful and thoughtful.

Our roof was leaking and we needed it replaced. We contacted MCAS Roofing and they gave us a fair estimate for a full replacement. Workers came early and by the end of the day we had a brand new roof. They cleaned every last bit of the old roof like they were never even there. We found MCAS Roofing online and hired them based on their stellar reviews, competitive price and excellent communication up front. It was a a great experience. They replaced a shingled and flat roof on our home. The crew was friendly and focused. Michael checked in as the work progressed. The job was done quickly and professionally. The end result is excellent. Highly recommended.

We have a flat roof house (Usonia style), and this was the third roof we got since we bought the house in 1987. So about 12-14 years for each of the roofing membranes or asphalt sheet rollstock we had installed.

I got three bids for this project, and I decided to go with MCAS because I know something about roofing membrane materials, and the MCAS folks (Michael; et. al.) were transparent about what I was getting. They were also clear on what work would be necessary, how long it would take, when they would start, and how much it would cost.

There was a bit of an interim fuzzy area for potential repairs that might be necessary once the old roof was removed, but that worked out fine. Less than $1000 for materials & labor for damage spots.

The crew started in mid-Aug, and finished the installation of the EPDM membrane in about a week. Another few days for all the detail work around the vent pipes, chimneys, skylights, etc. There was some down time for some drip edge trim that needed to be fabricated, but that was also installed and completed in a timely fashion.

The crew was really good, and I was impressed how they cleaned up as they went along, and an extra cleanup at the end of each work day. The craftsmanship appears to be high quality. Juan was great with the copper flashing on the chimneys. Other members of the crew each had their competency areas. The edge trim turned out very nice.

As of today, with over a foot of snow on the roof, it does not look like we have any major leaks. (knock on wood three times). There was some leaks before, and some wet drywall stains (garage; utility room), so I am watching those trouble spots to see if they change.

We also have a grand room, where we now have some plaster cracks that have appeared, and need to be repaired; which I am keeping an eye on. That might just be time period since the last work, or something that needs to be sorted out. Not sure yet. Will come back if necessary.

There was some follow up work that was necessary on a skylight, and that finally got taken care of as well.

In closing, I am happy that I went with MCAS; at least so far. It was a positive and professional experience. The roof seems to be a quality material, and a good installation; so far so good.

If there is any trouble, what so ever, I am confident that the MCAS crew will show up to assess whatever might be happening, and own up to any work that they need to be responsible for. Highly recommended.

MCAS Roofing is a great company. I cannot recommend them more highly. We have used them more than once including 2 different skylight installations, roof repair, and whole roof replacement. Each time they were flawless. They are super easy to work with including preparing all the permit paperwork, and pre-calling the municipality to get clear instructions. The last job they did, the full roof replacement, was done in ONE DAY!! Left the place clean by using huge sheets to collect dropped materials and dust.

This review is very overdue. We hired Michael at MCAS Roofing to repair a leak coming in from a chimney. They looked at the chimney and determined that we needed new flashing...our former roofer had been putting tar on, which obviously hadn’t worked. The workers put boards up to stand on, which made me feel more relaxed, as it is a 4 story house. I wasn’t at all nervous about them working up there.

They did the repair meticulously. It actually looked more complex than I had thought it would be - I feel the cost was more than fair for the work done.

Justine (office manager) was always quiCk to respond to any calls or emails that I sent.

I would definitely hire them again.
