Best contractor experience we’ve had, ever! Jose and his family team replaced our aging/failing siding, trim, and lattice work which required custom-milled siding to match the rest of our mid-century house, and fixed water damage from past leakage. They also replaced our poorly built and rotted fence. These guys get in there and get after it! We truly enjoyed working with this team an will not hesitate to have them back for additional projects. They are well coached and trained from Dad on down and we know they will take good care of you!

Mba construction just installed a new roof and chimney at our house. The work was beautiful with great attention to detail. Communication: 5 stars. I will text Jose and he doesn't text back. He calls me! I can't tell you how many times this has happened. He brings you along the process the entire way and makes sure your expectations are met.
Work ethic: 5 stars. MBA has worked on our last two homes. He replaced LP1 siding with Hardie Board on our last home. His advanced crew would arrive about an hour before the main crew arrived. The advanced crew would set up the site and the crew would get busy as soon as they arrived. This time he replaced worn out cedar siding with Hardie board. The crew works hard and they laugh a lot.
Craftmanship: The devil is in the details and they nail it. Alex is meticulous in his process and work. From siding, caulk, to windows, every detail is perfect.
Timeline: 5 stars. Our home is 4100 sqft and MBA resided the home and replaced 31 windows, 2 sliders, and 3 doors. Jose set a timeline of March 2024. MBA prepositioned a dumpster, the materials, scaffolding, and ladders on Leap Year. They started the job 4 March and placed the final touches on 1 April.
Product: 5 stars. I used an IR thermometer on my new windows and old windows. There was a 7 degree difference on the inside. It helped that MBA wrapped the home in James Hardie wrap. We didn't have a wrap before and had aluminum casings on the windows. My wife and daughters remarked how warm it is now.
I trust MBA to do a quality job on a timeline. They are the only ones I'll let do work on my home.

We hired MBA Construction Corp to repair a section of fence and some siding on our house, damaged by a fallen tree. After we received the quote, and insurance approval, Jose and his crew were able to complete the work with professional and courteous efficiency. We called again to replace our front steps and the quality of their work was outstanding, and they paid attention to every detail. They also cleaned up after themselves and left my property spotless. We have a few more projects in the future and will be calling them for each one.

We had an extensive remodel of our 1963 mid century home done by MBA Construction Corp. They did an outstanding job!! We are so happy with the finished work!! They removed a wall between the kitchen and the family room to create a larger dining area. The wood ceiling where the wall was removed needed to be resanded and stained. It looks beautiful, you would never know there had ever been a wall there! They were able to also add another light fixture in that same ceiling area which was no simple feat given we do not have any attic space between the car decking and insulation\roofing material. When they say “Anything is possible “ they make it work!! We were so happy to be able to add the extra matching light fixture , it looks like it has always been there!

They put down new flooring on our entire upper floor and down our stairs. We had four different flooring types upstairs and now with the beautiful Luxury Vinyl Flooring flowing seamlessly throughout our house looks more spacious. We had several uneven areas in our floors and plenty of squeaks. They replaced the subfloors where needed and used a leveling compound in other areas to give us wonderful level floors and stairs that do not squeak anymore!

They suggested a new metal stair railing, which we initially hadn’t thought to do but so glad we did! It is beautiful and really brings a more modern look to the house!

They installed a new front door and side glass which really elevated our entry!

They removed a closet/wall out of our main bedroom (our home had many extra closets!) and expanded the main bathroom (the only one we had upstairs) into that space to create a larger beautiful en-suite. They were able to re-use our cabinetry (which matched all the other cabinets in the house, we were very happy to be able to keep!) along with our existing granite counter. The guys removed an old tub and put in a larger walk-in shower. Alex meticulously tiled the shower and backsplash. It looks amazing!!

They took out another extra closet out of the second upstairs bedroom and joined that space to an existing hall closet to create a powder room. This new room had chimney going through it which the guys removed to create more space. They needed to create a soffit to cover the hole from the chimney and make space for a ceiling fan but they did it in such a creative way they were able to keep some of the beautiful wood car decking exposed. We were so happy to see that wood ceiling as soon as you open the door! I found a teak cabinet in an antique shop I really wanted to use as a vanity in the powder room! They made that happen and it turned out beautifully!!

They also did a complete window replacement on the west facing wall of our house! They removed a single door and replaced it with a beautiful glass slider. The windows are beautiful and open up our view dramatically!!

They also repainted the entire house which looks great!!

I highly recommend MBA Construction!! They are very talented and do an outstanding job!! Jose kept up great communication with me as we progressed through the project! It is so important to them to do the work correctly so that they know in their hearts the homeowner will have a properly restored home that will last! They always involved us in design questions and wanted to make sure we were getting things done to our satisfaction! I really appreciated being so involved since we had many ideas we wanted implemented! I was able to paint the interior walls as they were completing areas and they were such a pleasure to work with!! We worked with Jose and team to repair siding and paint our home in Issaquah. Demo day always gives me some anxiety because you just never know what you'll find with 40+ year old homes. Jose's team found dry rot on our chimney and quickly and professionally repaired it, no problem.

The rest of the work was done quickly and efficiently. The siding work is seamless to original siding and the paint job was really well done. These guys are all friendly and work so hard.

MBA Construction did an amazing job on what was supposed to be a siding/painting project for my house and garage. It turned out to be a much bigger job because of problems found when the old siding was removed, and the material underneath was exposed. They repaired several parts of the house frame, and installed new plywood just about everywhere, before installing Hardie plank siding. Juan, the painter they worked with, did a beautiful job painting the siding and trim. MBA also replaced several old windows, built a new Trex deck to our front entrance, installed new outdoor light fixtures, and installed new exterior doors.
Jose, Alex and Tony were professional and reliable from start to finish. And they're a group of solid, nice guys (and brothers!) to boot. They are proudly a family owned and operated business, and take that reputation seriously. They answered every question my husband and I had, and they made sure the job was done right every step of the way. They emphasized they would treat our home as if it belonged to family, and it showed. We are thrilled with the results. It looks like a new house. One of the best things about working with MBA (besides the high quality of their work) is that you communicate with them directly. I recently purchased an older home that had been neglected for decades. What started out as residing project with window and door replacement, turned in to a remediation project that required an expertise you simply won't find with your average siding company.
After pulling off the old siding it turned out that in addition to wood rot, the house didn't even have plywood in place. They also discovered old construction materials that were simply dumped into crawl spaces decades ago. Of course it's unnerving as a homeowner when discoveries like this are made, but the Barrera brothers would calmly explain how they would remedy the issue at each turn. I watched the team methodically and skillfully repair the many issues they encountered throughout the course of the project.
Ultimately the team transformed my home over the course of five weeks. In addition to the siding, windows and doors they replaced a decrepit old wood deck with a brand new Trex deck, which really smartened up the front entrance. In addition to being skilled craftsman, Jose, Alex and Tony are great guys. We have the utmost trust in their guidance and work quality. They also treat your home with a level of care you seldom experience with other contractors.
Going forward, I plan on going with MBA Construction Corp for all of my exterior and interior home projects.

Jose and his whole family are part of this company. Very responsive, professional AND he honored his quote from 2019 and only added sales tax. He resided our 3600 square foot house and his estimate in 2019 was the best with using the same quality materials AND included total exterior painting. He added (at his expense) some exterior repairs, new house numbers and electrical. Highly recommend using their services for any home needs interior and/or exterior. He has completed work on a number of our neighbors and continues to provide great workmanship.

I saw that MBA construction was a local company with great reviews so I reached out for a free estimate. Jose came and gave me a free estimate and even told me about wide range of services they offer. I originally contacted them about replacing some home siding due to it being old cheap plywood, but he told me they even do kitchen remodel work. My initial request was to replace siding but it ended up being adding kitchen hood venting to my kitchen, which unfortunately had no venting to the exterior. Jose provided me the estimate for all the work quickly and we agreed upon the price. Originally, MBA was supposed to come out at the end of August, but were able to come out within the next 2 weeks of their bid. Also, I will also mention their bid was the most fairest from the other 3 companies I reached out to with high reviews.

MBA construction is family owned and operated and was able to complete all the work within a week of starting the job. The actual family came out to do all the work and I was able to learn a lot about the work they were doing all week. The Kitchen vent work was not easy and I really appreciate the thought and care they did in completing that project and even installed my new kitchen hood too.

They meticulously replaced the cheap plywood siding with James Hardie siding. The reason why I wanted the siding replaced was that I realized that the attic had no sheathing or even wrap behind the siding of the attic, which was very evident by the light coming in. I was worried there could easily be water reaching the area and creating future mold issues. They made sure to add sheathing and wrap before putting in the new siding. As I saw the great work they were doing, I happened to ask them to do more siding/work than what was agreed upon and they did it all with a very fair price. Originally, I wanted them to just redo the siding of the house that was exposed from the attic, but they ended up doing the front side since it's exposed to sunlight. I could see the detail they put in as they added trim to my windows for free and made sure to add extra caulk carefully around each window and garage door. The work included painting and they used Sherwin Williams Super paint for the siding-all of this work was completed within a week. I will also mention that it was super hot for Seattle and they still worked diligently and quickly in finishing.

I really appreciate that they were flexible in adding things that I noticed would be good to work on along the way. They also gave me tips and advice on future projects needed that they noticed. I only did the siding on the sun exposed part of the exterior of the home, but eventually will do the rest with them. My next project will be the roof which MBA construction recommended as needing work because they noticed the wear on the roof . I plan on using them next for that project without any hesitation and highly recommend them for any home related project.

We were referred to MBA after our last contractor lied to us and did a terrible job of our home. We were left helpless, hopeless and afraid. I contacted MBA and spoke with Jose about replacing some missing siding after another company replaced and reconfigured our deck. He came out same week, provided a prompt estimate and once we decided to go with his offer, had the supplies in hand and work done in about another week. It was a small job, and the other estimates we received were all looking to take shortcuts or weren’t interested in the job at all. Jose and his team did thorough work, using the exact Hardie Color Plus siding we already had on our house, and made it look like nothing ever happened. I appreciated that he was there not just for the estimate but through the actual job. Super friendly, communicative, fair price, and great work. Will be our first call for future projects.

There are several issues with the exteriors of my house; some require immediate attention and some can be tackled later. They are AMAZING!!!! I hired MBA to replace my old broken vinyl siding. I have an older home and was nervous how the hardy board would look on my house, but wow does it look good. Jose and his team did an AWESOME job at not just turning my home into a beautiful new looking home, It has also improved the installation of the house. I do not have all the small little drafts and noticed the heater isn't working so hard anymore. Jose and team also brought to my attention the facia was rotten and gave me the opportunity to have them fix it before putting the gutters back up. Jose and team did an incredible job on the residing and painting of our home and I would highly recommend them. There were several things that stood out about Jose and crew that lead me to make this recommendation:

1. Jose would do a video call with me everyday after his crew finished up (we were in the middle of COVID-19 when the job was being done)
2. His crew laid down cloths everywhere they worked as to not make a mess with cutting, nailing, screwing, etc.
3. His crew always cleaned up everyday after they were done for the day; this is super rare as I've worked with many contractors
4. Jose respects that you're working too so will talk to you after hours or on the weekends if needed
5. Jose has a crew for every different job that is needed so they're specialist in what they do.
- For example, he has his siding crew, pressure washing crew and painting crew.
6. Jose replaced items to make the overall project look its best at no extra cost; this is true attention to details.
- He replaced my outside outlet and dryer cover versus replacing the ones that were already there which had the old painted on them and would have looked funny back on the house.
7. Jose provided paint samples so that we can see what it would look like when on the house. This was great because we ended up switching colors because the original color we selected was too light for we taste.
8. Jose and crew all observed social distancing and other recommended safety protocols; the all wore masks, held video calls with their customers, maintained their distance from those around them, etc.

Overall, Jose and crew were professional, clean and delivered a great result. I really couldn't have been more pleased with the end result of course but I really do also appreciate how we got to the end result. Thanks Jose and Crew!

UPDATE November 2021: We moved a few months back and hired Jose and team again to install new siding and do some other exterior repairs. Just like before, we were extremely impressed with their quality of work and communication. The siding turned out great and our new house has been transformed. They go above and beyond with their attention to detail and communication and I feel confident that the work has been done correctly and to the highest quality possible. May 2020 - Jose and team did an amazing job! We hired them to replace our siding, windows, and paint. We were extremely impressed with their quality of work and attention to detail; so much so, that we even ended up adding some concrete work to the project.

Jose was a clear communicator and pricing was fair. He took the time to explain a problem that they discovered with our garage and provided our options without any pressure. Jose gave a very reasonable estimate for my triplex siding and windows. MBA is a family run company and Jose and his crew will repair/install your house just like they would for their own. Jose is very personable and accomosated the schedule of each tenant when installing the windows. He exceeded my expectation with which I recommend my neighbor for their siding. In addition, when he was installing the neighbor’s siding, he found blown roof tiles from my roof during recent wind storm, he repaired it for free as a service. I will recommend him and his company to anyone for sidings? Windows and roof.

After obtaining three bids to replace the failing LP siding on my 18 year old home, I confidently selected MBA construction to perform this work because: 1) The bid was competitive, 2) Jose, who provided the bid was able to answer all of my detail questions, 3) Jose, who manages the project and does sales, is also hands on getting the work done unlike other firms with sales people never to be seen again, 4) MBA is a 15 year family business employing a family crew, 5) All materials are genuine James Hardie products, unlike some nearby new residential construction.

Projects of this magnitude inevitably entail some surprises needing special attention or leaving additional work to be done by others. In every instance the MBA team went the extra mile to solve these problems at no additional costs.

The project was completed on time, on budget and my yard was left cleaner than at the start. When the project was complete the whole MBA crew assembled to say thanks and shake my hand.

I wish I could give Jose and family more than 5 stars! Let me do my best to describe our experience.

From the beginning, Jose communicated with us clearly and consistently and we laid out expectations. We walked the property and discussed demolition, siding, and any concerns I had. At the end of the week, Jose’s team installed scaffolding and platforms to work from.

Jose would send a small team early in the AM to set up the job site and the remaining team would arrive, shortly after, and begin working immediately. MBA quickly demoed the siding and took pictures of any areas that needed repairs. Jose sent me the pics and explained what he saw and what it would take to repair it. His approach was calm and confident throughout. MBA repaired, the few areas we had, quickly and ensured it all looked perfect.

Watching him put the first piece of siding up was exciting. He delicately set it, leveled it, and hit it with his nail gun. His crew sang and laughed throughout the build, even on the rainy cold days. They never complained and required little. Jose and Tony, would ask me for guidance when they had questions and give input. I was always overjoyed with their work!

Their craftsmanship was beautiful! They blocked in light fixtures and outdoor waterlines making a beautiful home. We had a rock face on our first floor with light sockets. MBA cut the rock perfectly around the lights sockets. Another beautiful piece is an arch window in our family room. Jose cut the hardiest board and ground the arch perfectly. It looked as if it came fabricated from the company.

My experience with Jose and family was perfect. You will not be disappointed in his communication, crew, and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would send pics to whomever wants them.

I first met Jose and his family when they had to re-do a botched James Hardie Siding job on my home done by Home Depot (NEVER USE HOME DEPT FOR ANYTHING). Jose and his team came through for us with flying colors! They are very honest, professional, do excellent work, friendly, perfectionist and they clean up when they're done. We were so impressed with their work, we hired them to install a new entry door with side lights. Needless to say, they did another amazing job! Our next project will be a composite balcony and we will definitely be using MBA Construction Corp. If you hire this company, I guarantee you will be very happy with their work.

Jose's team came in and did a 3+ week job using Hardie Plank Color Plus in less than two weeks. The outcome is amazing. Can't believe this is our house. The team showed up on time every day and one of the team members would work until 8pm most days just so we could get it done quickly. Every day Jose would ask, "do you have any questions?". I can't tell you how much this put us at ease. They cleaned up the house after to where you could not even tell they had been here. I can't recommend MBA Construction enough.
