Mazzant’s painted our house a few years ago and were AWESOME! Super reliable, fast, and most importantly, they do quality work. Highly recommend!!!

In April of this year (2024) our basement was flooded due to excessive rain. Of course our insurance did not cover the damage. We contacted Mazzant Disaster Restoration. Unfortunately all their crews were helping other clients. The owners of this company came to our rescued even though we didn't have insurance coverage. They helped and advised us. We are so grateful for their selfless support. We need more companies like the Mazzant's in Beaver County.

The best of the best in Beaver County. Work ethic is strong, excellent work, timely and people that can be trusted.

I have worked with Mazzant Painting and Disaster restoration now for at least 6 years in both a professional and personal capacity. They have always been professional in their interactions, on time, and provided top notch work at a reasonable rate. I will continue to use them and refer them to others for years to come. I have worked with pretty much every other restoration company out there in some capacity over the years and Mazzant tops them all!

I can’t say enough about Mazzant’s. They were truly a bright light in a bad situation when the lower level of our home flooded this past April. Not only did they come in and remediate the problem quickly, but they were very knowledgeable and helped me to navigate a situation that I knew nothing about. They calmed my anxiety and made me feel like I was in good hands. They ultimately were very trustworthy and reliable, had pre-existing relationships (built on that trust and a history of working together successfully) with my insurance agency and set us on the right path to getting our home back up in working order. I can’t recommend them enough for all your disaster restoration needs and have even been recommending them to family and friends for home painting work.

We discovered a flood in the basement of the funeral home on Christmas Eve morning. Myself and two other employees were trying to do what we could to address the situation, with very little success. I called Mazzant's figuring they would get back to us after the holiday. Within an hour of the initial phone call there were three people working to eliminate the water that had leaked. Over the course of the next couple of weeks they saw that all the water damage was eliminated and even were on hand when the insurance people came to assess the issue. Timely and thorough professional assistance was what we received.

I could not be more pleased with the finished product. The workers were always on time, very professional and cleaned up before they left. They were willing to work with me on every aspect and I was happy with their competitive pricing. If your looking for a trustworthy company, you only have to look to Mazzant.

Awful experience. I should have read other reviews before agreeing to do business with them. Their paperwork person will take all of the money from insurance that might be left over and due to the homeowner for extra project or work and lines their pockets with it instead. We got to the part where they provide actual numbers and costs to sign off on and suddenly nearly every single line item was double what insurance would pay for the work, in order to eat up the overages.

For example, older homes have plaster and it’s expensive to redo plaster, so it’s somewhere around $9 per square foot for those areas, and something around $2.40 per square foot for drywall, instead of charging around $2.50 per sqft for drywall replacement and allowing the overage to accumulate for future use, they charged over $4 per sqft to line their pockets with profit. Charging for priming things that didn’t need primed, double charging for baseboard paint and installation.

Completely lacking integrity, they thought that because I agreed to do the work with them, hey had the right to come in and make up pricing as they went along…so on top of the 20% overhead and profit amounts they’re allowed to charge in order to make money, they consistently inflated all of the individual pricing to make about three times the amount they were owed and acted like they were doing is a favor because the bottom line of the job was pretty close to what insurance was offering.

Be aware of fast talking, loud, pushy sales tactics and the office worker telling you how hard she’s worked to get you your insurance job finished and reminding you about a contract you signed with them. Dishonest, untrustworthy, awful people. All of them.

On top of all of that, they performed a bunch of unnecessary work without clearing it with me, much of which is done in very poor quality and will now have to be ripped out and fixed, instead of using oil based primer to seal in fire damage, they used an inferior product and passed it off as the correct product. They tried charging the insurance company $70k for 2 weeks worth of fire demo…luckily the insurance company was smart enough to recognize this shady attempted money grab and denied it.

Moral of the story…STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Don’t be like us and in a situation where we want to get back in our home and are not dealing with this shady contractor and fixing their shoddy work and unethical insurance bids.

Mazzant did a great job painting the aluminum siding and trim on one side of our house. They are a wonderful company to work with.

Bob Mazzant and his crew did an absolute spectacular job restoring my Victorian home after a pipe burst on Christmas Day. I had a complete disaster on my hands, 3 floors affected and they spent many weeks restoring the home. They were able to restore original woodwork, including 8" trim, pocket doors and a china cabinet that was my grandmother's. I would highly recommend this team to anyone who needs mitigation and disaster repair!

Had work done by them a few years ago. Several places the drywall was not finished properly. They left cigarette butts in my yard. Said they would charge me the max amount of my insurance check instead of just charging me what the work would cost. Made rude comments while there.

The other disaster companies we called had multi-week waits, but Mazzant was able to come right, so we used them. Lesson learned. There was a reason why they were available and not booked up. Total disaster.

Our rental property in Aliquippa had a pipe break, flooding the basement. We live out of state and relied heavily on Mazzant in dealing with our insurance provider.
They were relentless in the pursuit of getting the maximum settlement. The insurance company did not make it easy but Mazzant won what I consider a hard fought battle.
The restoration was done to our satisfaction. The crew was polite and courteous, according to the person renting our home.
I highly recommend Mazzant.

We had fire damage and they walked us through the process, from inside to outside and all the contents and personal items. It can be very overwhelming and difficult to deal with the insurance company. They made the process much easier for us. They took care of all the restoration as well.

Cannot say enough about their timeliness, professional work, restoration services, and ability to work with insurance companies. We had a pipe burst in our house on Christmas Day and it left an absolute mess. They came out the same morning I called and instantly started taking care of everything. Julie and her workers were fantastic the entire time. House looks as if nothing ever happened. Would highly recommend them if you’re in need.

The business I live above used this company for services. My porch had work done on it due to their request. This company did not cover my belongings or let me know that I needed to move my items. They then did not tell me they were taking my belongings off my property. I spoke with the head manager Bob and he did not give his workers credit for their work. He blamed them for the mess up even though he requested the items to be removed. My child's sandbox was ruined, my live plants ruined, some of my other items ruined. When I spoke on the phone with Bob he was very rude and made me wait a week before giving me sand for my daughter's box. He told me it's not like she is using her sand box today anyway. I was trying to compromise with him but he rushed me and made me feel that I was not a valued customer in this matter. Terrible customer service and not kind to his workers. I do not recommend his service.

I used Mazzant Painting for an emergency situation where my ceiling came down into my living room due to a faulty pipe and they were here within 10 minutes of calling and everyone involved was nice to work with and would recommend them to anyone.

I had Mazzant Painting paint the outside of our house. Bob and Julie were fantastic to work with. The guys that showed up every day on time were also fantastic. I don't get home from work until late in the night and they would show up at 8am sharp and I wouldn't even know it. They were very quiet.I highly recommend this company

I'm writing this review on behalf of my grandmother. She incurred damage to her roof as a result of the severe weather that transpired last year. Mazzant followed through when others left us high and dry! They were professional and patient beyond belief. The payment process was far more extended than any buisness would have tolerated, for the homeowner's insurance funds had to be sent to Champion mortgage (that is not a positive review to say mildy). Julie went above and beyond in attempts to assist in that nightmare of a process, for that alone they deserve 10 stars! Writing this review is my way of saying thank you to them. Thank you for quality of work, patience, and overall a job well done.

I had a house fire. Bob and Julie showed up as soon as we called. They made a very stressful time less stressful. Julie, was professional and very detailed in the scope of the work and kept me updated and answered any all questions in a timely manner. When it came time to start the repair Bob was also very involved and helped me with the process. Even their employees very professional and helpful. They answered any questions they could. If they did have the answers they made sure to get them to me. I would recommend them to anyone that finds themselves in my position.

Mazzant was wonderful and professional during our entire project. We had water damage in our kitchen. They handled all aspects including the clean up and installation of new floors and cabinets. They took care of everything and even worked with out insurance company. Julie kept us informed every step of the way. The quality of work was high and they paid attention to detail. We had roof damage from the tornado that came thru. Julie came to our house to assess the damage immediately and before lunchtime, Todd had our roof tarped off. Julie went above and beyond to make the process go quickly and smoothly. She had our claim submitted that exact day, including pictures of all the damage we incurred. She spoke to claim specialists and our insurance agent multiple times to ensure that everything was covered and moving along. When there were things we did not understand with the claim, she took extra time, even out of her personal time, after her workday ended, to explain things to us. She made sure she found the exact shingle match and made a special trip to show us so that we felt comfortable knowing the new part would match the old part. When the workers came to fix our roof, they were respectful, not only of us, but of our property. There work was second to none, and their clean up was fantastic.
I truly believe that had Julie not been involved, there is no way our claim would have gone so quickly or smoothly. She is phenomenal at what she does, and puts her customers first. I highly recommend Mazzant Painting & Restoration for all of your needs. Their work and customer service are amazing!!!!!

We recently had Mazzant Fire and Restoration do some work on our house and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. They were easy to work with and got the job done in a timely manner. Every step of the job was handled in a professional and expert manner. We struggled with other contractors to have our 28' high great room ceiling painted but Mazzant came through and we couldn't be more pleased !!

From start to finish Mazzant's was one of the very best companies I've ever dealt with. They were kind and courteous. We have been very happy with the professionalism and knowledge of this business. Julie Mazzant has been extremely helpful navigating the Insurance issues. We had damage due to high winds and a new roof happened. They also painted my daycare facility quickly and perfectly without disrupting our business day. They replaced all the lights and ceiling tiles in 2 days. Coming into the building the next day to a clean and finished project was wonderful. Regulations requires all work to be done after hours and they did it very well. We will continue to call them to get jobs done in a timely manner. Every job we asked them to do was done extremely well.

We were having trouble finding someone willing to fix our damaged living room ceiling, until we found Mazzants. They came out and had the ceiling repaired, painted, and retextured within 2 days. Their quality was so good we can’t even tell where the hole in the ceiling once was. I highly recommend them!
