The gasket on the bottom of my back aluminum storm door was worn and needed replacement, I searched everywhere on the internet, to no avail. My friend, who had windows replaced in her house by Mayfair suggested that I try them, they possibly could help me. She could not praise Mayfair enough. Yesterday, I stopped at the Mayfair showroom and Fernanda assisted me. I brought the worn out gasket with me, showed it to Fernanda and she said they surely had that gasket. She took the time to search for the gasket and found the exact gasket that I needed. If Fernand took the time to take care of me for a simple gasket, it isn't a wonder that my friend was so happy with her windows. They care and take the time do great work. I will definitely use Mayfair when I need remodeling work.

Newton and his team were extremely friendly and did excellent work. We had a leak from a recent rain storm and Mayfair was able to repair both the exterior as well as interior, was so happy to find someone that was a one-stop shop. Would recommend for sure.

We worked with Mayfair this summer to replace the windows, siding, doors, and roof of our house. He also built a portico for the front of our house. He did a fantastic job! We initially reached out to Mayfair because of all of the 5 star reviews. I am usually skeptical when I see so many 5 star reviews, as I wonder whether the reviewers received a contractor discount for the review (something I was personally offered once after another job by a pool contractor). Well, I can now say that after working with Mayfair, and specifically with Newton the owner, that those 5 stars were absolutely earned. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in working with a contractor.

There are several things that I think are important when working with a contractor:
1) Reliability- you show up on time and you meet the deadlines you promise
2) Honesty and integrity- you deliver on what you promised, no bait and switches, you honor your pricing, when you make a rare mistake you take ownership and fix it, and you stay committed to the job until it is 100% done
3) Accessibility- you are reachable and responsive. You don’t disappear for days and require multiple follow ups
4) Communication- you keep the homeowner in the loop, inform them of what comes next, and instead of making assumptions on what the homeowner wants, you ask to avoid delays/re-work
5) Quality of work- good craftsmanship, minimal defects, and when the rare defect is pointed out, you are responsive and fix it.
6) A trusted advisor- when you aren’t sure which manufacturer to use, which material, or style, you can rely on the contractor to give you advice based on what is right for you, and not what is going to make them a profit.

Mayfair gets an A+ on all 6 of the above criteria! Newton is just an absolute pleasure to work with, and just a good human being with a calm, assuring demeanor, which is so important during big projects. We recently contracted with Mayfair to re-roof our home and garage and to install two new skylights. In addition, the existing porch roof had a 'Yankee' gutter which has been problematic since we've owned the home. They were able to replace the Yankee gutter with a standard gutter, with minimal impact to the porch ceiling (which they repaired). The remainder of the roof is fairly complicated, and the crew was very professional in completing the work in a timely manner. We have no hesitation to recommend Mayfair and Newton for your roofing project.
