We had an awful experience with Maycon.
We had our roof, soffit box, gutters, and metal work done on our home.
When they came for those things the project manager told us if we didn’t get our soffit box fixed it might fall off of our home.
They started the metal work around the house. They brought on a fella that was very unprofessional to my home. He began the job and never finished but a few days after he hung the metal it began to turn blue.
They brought on a second team. They showed up and looked like they had never seen the equipment in front of them ever before in their life. They bent the metal and it was all crooked and out of shape. They hung it on our home. We complained again. A third time they brought another team and the job was finally done satisfactory.
I was home for the whole project and went out to chat with the laborers and the project manager through the project.
They did the roof and one day I went out to chat with them the project manager had me look at the soffit box that they told us needed to come down to fix it. That it needed built brand new. We paid for that service. He showed me a piece of wood sticking straight up and straight out of my home unpainted, it looked insane. I explained per our contract the box was supposed to be removed. He’s the one who told us it needed done or it would fall off of our home.
After some more complaints they started that Job. I was walking my dog at the time and heard a huge bang. I looked up and the soffit box fell off of my home. THEY NEVER TOLD US this happened. I watched it happen.
It was clear they had no idea what they were doing.
They cleaned it up without telling me and they put it back together and put it back onto my home with the old wood, the old soffit, and metal that fell and crashed down onto the ground. It was actually crumpled and they put it back on. They did not use new materials they used the old materials they were supposed to rebuild the whole thing per our contract.
At this point we noticed that when they knocked the soffit box off of our home that it cracked our walls the whole seams of my office the top and side .
We stopped the project. We explained that we didn’t think they were doing things right and we wanted to make sure our home was inspected for further damage to the structure of our home.
They agreed to pay for the inspection (he did not pay for it). We went on with it anyways. The Inspection did not go well. They agreed to fix the problems.
They began work patching my office and they used caulking to fill the cracks. It was globy and looked terrible. We had to stop them again and explain that this was incorrect. They left and came back they ended up filling them again with dry wall patch. They didn’t even sand it and wanted to paint over it . I had to ask them to leave again I ended up finishing it myself. I didn’t have a lot of trust in them at this point.
I didn’t believe the Job was done well at all.
We even argued with the owner that there were holes in our home in the attic where the soffit box was originally and they put a piece of wood up. They actually left holes in the side of our house.
Come not even 2 years later after they insisted they would and could walk on it without a problem and the soffit box was falling off of our home almost fully.
We had to contact them again. The workers that showed up this time explained that the work was never done properly on the soffit box which at this point we knew 100% . They said that they had to get rid of the workers that did the original job because they were having many problems in the work being done.
We had the roof inspected a second time before they began working and they said the flashing was also done horribly that our roof would just start rotting and leaking if it wasn’t fixed because they only used caulking to seal it and the flashing was missing from most places.

They did come and fix these problems as far as we know but we really had issues through the whole project.

Joe Coldiron, the General Manager from Maycon was extremely professional, respectful of our time by showing up early, and very helpful. Before choosing Maycon to fix my roof we had other contractors come out to give an estimate and they didn't even get ladders out or go in our attic to inspect our roof. Joe brought our roof down to us even checked the temperature inside our attic, because he seen signs of where our roof was cooked from being over heated, so he checked the ventilation, said that he did not see any daylight in our attic when all lights were out, explained to us that someone had stuffed insulation in our soffit vents. Told us that we would need to go up in the attic and pull it all back, so that our roof would vent properly, because it was acting like an oven and baking shingles from inside out. Cutting the life of our roof in half and that this would happen to a new one if that was not resolved, plus it would help heat and cool the house also, things we didn’t know. So we chose Maycon because how in depth Joe’s inspection was.

Joe Coldiron did an amazing job for our roof. He was on time, did a thorough inspection, took the time to explain everything to me. He honestly showed great patience with all of my questions. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Joe even spent time outside normal business hours to answer questions and help us out. He earned a lifetime customer from us.

I'm very happy with the results of my deck. Joe Coldiron was very helpful with giving finishing touch ideas and recommending my best options. Their crew was there within the next week and I couldn't be happier.

Joe Coldiron was very thorough done an excellent job explaining everything to my parents. It was very hard to earn my trust and theirs as they had been taken advantage of by another roofing contractor for 9,500.00.. So Joe had explained to us how he has seen this in his 16 years, that they typically only ask for 30 percent down when materials hit the driveway, but bc they still wasn't ok with that bc the last contractor collected when materials and tools arrived and never showed back up, so he was going to have the materials delivered and the crew show up that same day to install it, that he would have his Project Manager be there that very same day, and that he would have crew standing in their yard waiting to go to work, that he wouldn't be able to start until the deposit was paid, bc just like my parents had been taken advantage of so had their company been taken to the cleaners by a customer too.
He was the only one to get in attic and the only one who said we needed wood. If you get too choose who comes out, I'd recommend Joe.

I highly recommend Maycon! Joseph and his team have been top notch! The crew has been quick with their eagerness to get to work. Joseph Coldiron has been particularly helpful with his quick communication, and going the extra mile to give us a breakdown in prices of each part of the project so that my mother in law can make informed decisions. We contacted Maycon for help with restoring a roof for an old family home. Due to the horrid nature of the roof, the inside of the home was also completely destroyed. Joseph Coldiron and his team were on it! Joseph went and took an in-depth look at the roof with pictures and videos to help us understand where all the damage was. He also extended the courtesy of having his crew give us an estimate on a complete inside remodel, which has been a saving grace. I cannot recommend Joseph and his crew enough!

Brett and Brendan did an excellent job solving my roof and skylight problems. My house had a faulty skylight and two ancient chimneys that were causing water damage. I got three bids before I chose Maycon. They were the most professional firm and the lowest price. They made the process easy, helped us with financing, and finished on time and on budget. Maycon sent 2 men to my home May 2023 they asked for my social security number,I gave it to them. Maycon hardly knew them and don't know what they did,but they were fired shortly thereafter. Please do not give your personal information to anyone that comes to your home. Make sure that you call the company and give your personal information to the secretary directly. Several fraudulent credit card applications have been put in using my name and social security number. I pulled my credit report and I have proof that it was one of those men.

Maycon did a fabulous job repairing our back porch area and replaced the roofing as well as cover all exposed surfaces with soffit. We live near a creek and our porch suffered mildew due to poor drainage on the roof that had the wrong slope when originally built. Brett Mabry and Jacob Gundler were very user-friendly to work with and had positive, can do attitudes. So refreshing in today's environment to find such a great service.
We will definitely think of them first when needing future projects done. Highly recommend them!!!

My husband was at work but he called and was able to speak directly to Hunter Childers. He was still at work when the appointment day came but Hunter handled it with the upmost level of professionalism and understanding of our circumstances. It wasn’t your typical meeting, he had to explain things to me while my husband was on FaceTime, he showed patience and took his time explaining everything to us.
Hunter explained to me that it would be a great deal cheaper to get shingles than a metal roof and that the warranty on shingles was better as well. My husband is the type of man when he gets an idea in his head, it’s near impossible to get him to see any other point of view or even listen to other options. Hunter was very thorough on explaining to him what would be in our best interests. It was very clear to me that he cares more about his customers and their homes then making a bit more money for himself.
Surprisingly he was able to convince my husband to go with shingles.
Once the order was placed, it took about 2 weeks for the materials to be delivered and the workers started the next day.
The workers were knowledgeable and very cautious and considerate of my families safety and that meant a lot to us. They got the entire roof done in the time that it would have taken any other company to just do the prep work.
They also cleaned all of the trash, old roof, nails and random pieces up when it was all done. That was also very important to me since we have 3 kids running around(barefoot most of the time) and two pets.
Joe Coldiron came out to do the inspection and him and my husband sounded like high school buddies. He was very professional yet extremely friendly. He re-explained the warranty to us and made sure any questions we had were completely covered. If he didn’t know the answer to the question, he didn’t just say random things, he looked into it and made sure he had the right information before he told us.
All in all it was a great experience and they really eased our minds. We were so nervous to even get started on this project because it is such a big task to tackle but Joe, Hunter and their crew handled the entire process with a level of skill and knowledge I have never seen before.
We owe a huge “Thank You!” to Joe and Hunter for all of their hard work, our home is beautiful again and we have proudly told everyone who has stopped by to ask who did it exactly where to go.

The guys on the crew were polite and hardworking. They finished the job in one day and cleaned up when they were done. Jacob came out to make sure we were satisfied with our new roof. Everyone at Maycon made our experience easy. I have already started recommending them to our friends and family.

So impressed with the roof inspection and roof estimate! Joey arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He was very detailed in explaining roof damage done by the recent wind storm. He answered all my questions concerning cost, financing and warranty. He provided detailed information concerning the shingle product and made me feel as ease about contract information!

Ok, so they haven't installed my roof yet, but the process for getting them out to evaluate the problem and provide an estimate has been smooth and painless. Hunter Childress was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and answering my many questions with patience and kindness.

Classic act all the way around….arrived early to give me an estimate….actually came to the appointment….educated us in the difference in types of siding….provided estimate on site. Started with in a week of estimate and had job done in two days. Would have had it done in one day if they wouldn’t have discovered a busted pipe and allowed me to fix it. These people are fantastic from the salesman Joe Coldiron who walked us through the process of having the roof on and talk to us about prices an financing. Joe also showed us the different shingles.He gave us many options on the shingles. To all the workers that came and worked on the roof they were done in in about 8 hours the roof is beautiful. Don came over to pick up what extra supplies were left over he was very polite talking to. They may end up doing my gutters too this company I would deal with over and over and over again great company great people.

Maycon was fantastic to work with! I had a roof installation that was so poorly done my ceilings ended up with water damage and after 31 days, it still wasn't completed. I met with Joe (he needs a raise!) and in one day (1!!) They completed a teardown and new roof- which looks fabulous. Very happy with Maycon from beginning to end. Don did great on coming out and doing estimate on siding, was on time very nice guy even called back to make sure everything was correct with what I wanted. He told to give a few days to get estimate together I waited a week never herd from him so I texted said he was still working on it waited another week called office talked to a lady she said she would pass it along to the guy's. It's been four m onths still no estimate so I guess the job was to big, if they didn't want to do it just say no.

Came to do an assessment of our roof for repair. Jon arrived at the time he promised. He said we would have a quote sent to email by the end of the day. When I did not receive a quote as I was told, I tried to follow up. I sent two different emails, one to his email on his business card and one thru the construction site as well as a text . My husband called his cell phone, left a message and did not receive a return call. The reviews are 5 star so I think his company may be good at what they do. However, something is missing when one lacks common courtesy and respect. Just say “no” if not interested in a job. Perhaps he is only interested in the “bread and butter” jobs as they say and not more difficult ones.

For roofing needs in the tri-state area, Maycon is an excellent option. The owner was very quick to respond to initial questions on pricing, job design, and timeline. They were very transparent with any changes as the job progressed and did a thorough job explaining alterations to the original plan due to uncovered damage. The working crew which replaced our roof were extremely friendly and hardworking gentlemen. Overall the roofing and repair of our home was a very pleasant experience and we would recommend this company to friends or others in need of a new roof or other related repairs. If you are looking for a company that takes pride in their work and are very responsive to any concern, Maycon would be a great place to start.

We hired Maycon to do a roof replacement on a flat roof above an addition to our house, along with a little shingle and window work. They were always super responsive and willing to work with our schedule. The crew came out and did great work and completed the job quickly. I couldn't recommend them more.

Maycon did an excellent job replacing the siding on my home. I’m used to doing my own work but was pleasantly surprised at how smooth things went. The entire process was great and communication was easy/prompt...any questions I had were answered quickly.

I dealt with Don throughout the process of scheduling a small roof repair. Don was excellent to deal with: prompt to answer or return calls, was able to come give me an estimate the day I called, and had a very pleasant demeanor. While I didn't get to interact with the construction crew, it speaks volumes that they wanted to come out during a short break in a December downpour to finish the work, even though the roof was sealed and not leaking.

My experience working with Maycon Construction has been positive from the beginning. They were the first business to respond to my request, the first give me a quote and they even came multiple times to help me figure out some details for my roof. They have been very responsive and communicated well on every level. it was obvious they wanted my business.

Their price was very competitive compared to others I received and by far were using the highest quality materials.
