- I was there today and noticed a bird flying around in the store...did the bird really need to be shot?
- First, probably should've waited until no customers in the store. Second, did the bird really need to be shot?

- Over heard a fella ask a worker how long the bird had been in the store and he replied, may be 10-15 minutes.
- The need for all to cheer like it's some carnival game. Uncalled for!!

One is always greeted at the door and directed to exactly what you are looking for! Love to shop here....

As a 56 year old life long Mathys customer (never left unsatisfied) I'd like to clarify the last review.
1. The bird had been in the store for 7 hours not 10 or 15 minutes.
2. Several attempts were made to "shew" the bird back out the doors.
3. Would this woman tolerate a bird flying around her house defecating on everything?
4. If the bird were to be left in there over night it would set off the motion detector and the security company would be notifying the Sheriff's dept as to suspicious activity all night.
5. I've never seen more than 5 employees working there at one time. (I heard it was actually some of the other customers cheering.)
I'd give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could!!!
I would love to hear this customer's alternative solution
