MAT Roofing just finished installing a new roof on my house, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Andrew helped us select the right options for our house, and Adam ensured that everything went smoothly, communicating clearly throughout the process.

MAT Roofing replaced the roof on my in-laws ranch home recently and did an excellent job. They are both in their 80's and were concerned about the project and finding a reliable installer who would do quality work, would get the project done in a reasonable period of time and would offer a fair price. MAT met all of these criteria. Their price was competitive and the quality of the work was exceptional. Their roof is not small but the work was completed quickly by a very professional crew. They were kept informed of progress every step of the way. The crew worked quickly and was exceptionally clean. They were careful with the landscaping and did a very careful cleanup of debris and especially nails. Overall the experience was a decidedly positive one.

M.A. Thompson Roofing replaced the roofs and some siding on two of our commercial buildings in the fall of 2024, and not only did they do a fantastic job—the entire process was stress-free.

One might think that replacing multiple roofs while businesses are operating underneath would be a logistical nightmare, but not for these guys. Andrew and Adam kept us informed every step of the way and coordinated the crew flawlessly to ensure minimal disruption to our tenants.

The entire crew was professional, hardworking, and incredibly efficient. Debris from the roof never had a chance to pile up on the ground, as they were constantly cleaning and checking for stray nails throughout the project. (It's been five months since they completed the work, and I still haven’t found a single nail in the lawn or parking lot!)

I have used the services of this roofing company on three occasions over the last four years, including a new roof, a new roof fan, and roof repairs following a poorly-executed attic bat extermination. The company’s services were timely and well executed, and the staff friendly, professional, and efficient. Recently, I requested documentation of these roofing services to complete an application for a homeowner’s insurance policy. Andrew Petnuch, the Owner of MA Thompson Roofing, responded promptly, providing a formal email of explanation and a copy of the original contract detailing the roof replacement. I was impressed by his courtesy and promptness in satisfying such an unusual request. Without his cooperation, the insurer would have underwritten my residence based upon its original 1975 construction date; this would have resulted in a very costly annual premium. Thank you, Andrew.

We just had a new roof put on. The owner (Andrew) and his foreman (Adam) were fantastic to work with. They explained everything they were doing and took pictures while they were working to give us updates. The crew worked very efficiently, laid tarps around the house before they started and completed the job in one day. After the roof was installed, everything was cleaned up and the property immaculate including wiping down the siding where some of the old roof had dripped down when it was removed.

The quote was well written, the price was great and exactly what they told us it would be. There were no hidden surprises.

UPDATE: M.A. Thompson continues to impress me. I had a very small, non-urgent issue with a couple pieces of siding that were lifted. Despite being slammed with work, they came in under a week and fixed the issues, and cleaned out a clogged gutter without even additional prompting. Whether it's a big job or a small one, they will do quality work with the utmost professionalism. Given how many contractors will not even return your call for a small job, this further ensures I'll use M.A. Thompson for any roofing, siding, and gutter work in the future.

M.A. Thompson just re-did my roof. From the first interaction I had with Andrew and Adam, they were incredibly professional, very helpful with any questions, and providing detailed rationale for everything they recommended in the estimate for my roof in an easy-to-understand manner.

I was a contractor for 30 years and have worked with & used many contractors, including multiple roofing contractors, but none were as professional and informant in all aspects of the job as they were – from start to finish. Andrew (the owner) truly listened and delivered in all that he promised. For me, communication is key – something I received only from M.A. Thompson, Andrew and Adam. Adam (the foreman) was constantly checking with me to see if I had any questions or concerns and kept me up to date on the progress. In addition, it was pleasing to see how respectful he was with his crew, and vice versa. I'm very satisfied with MA Thompson Roofing. They used extra plywood, added a pipe flange, pipe connector for the flange, scabbed 3 boards to the trusses, re-did the fascia board, and recovered it in aluminum to match the original. They spent extra time and materials on this job to help get this home to where it needs to be. I cannot thank them enough for the great roof they installed. I am very pleased with their work. I would gladly sign another contract with this company down the road.

We just had our roof done under the new management. The owner was informative and available to us throughout the whole process. He helped us choose the perfect color for our roof and was onsite for any questions or concerns. The crew was polite and extremely clean.
