Maryland Professional Contractors is guaranteed to go above and beyond. When we needed floors, walls, electric and plumbing done for a house renovation, we could have gone anywhere but I’m so happy we went with these guys. Mike and his crew are timely, professional, and do high quality work.

Maryland professional contractors are exactly what the title says. Extremely professional, courteous and in contact with customers throughout the entire project.

We used Maryland Professional Contractors to replace carpet in our home. The hardest part was picking out the carpet color! Installation was quick and professional too. We will be using them for future projects!

I'm giving Mike the benefit of the doubt and giving 3 stars instead of 2 because there were some obstacles to our direct communication due to the circumstances of the work he was performing.

We had to have his team come back 2-3 times due to incomplete or improper work. And he was pretty difficult to schedule with - only offered small windows of time during work days to actually meet at the job site. He was, however, fairly good at being available by phone.

A few of the specific complaints (with pictures):

Promised to put heat resistant tape on a vent pipe that had a bad joint - only put two screw straps instead.

Installed some stair supports, but drilled the holes in the wrong spot initially and didn't patch the bad holes after installing the supports in the right place.

Our side porch door had a tricky latch but worked overall (closed flat and latched shut). After his team was here the latch was completely busted and the door no longer closed. (Someone got impatient with the latch and just kicked the door open and busted it.)

His guys did their cutting on the front porch and left a ton of sawdust.

Mike and his team did a beautiful job repairing our basement after it was damaged by a frozen pipe bursting. Mike was responsive and timely. Frank did a great job on the drywall and paint, and made our basement look exactly as it did before the incident. Scott took his time to ensure our carpet was installed perfectly- way better than the previous builders! Mike and his staff absolutely value the work they do and it shows. 10/10 recommend!

Mike and his crew were extremely professional from the beginning to the end of the project. Every single person on the crew did a fabulous job and the work done by them was flawless. I highly recommend them!

I have used a number of handyman’s over the years. However, the best service I had is with Maryland Professional Contractors. Sawyer and Tyler were awesome!!! They were on time, very nice, made all of the repairs and installations in my home. They really worked hard and worked with me in order to make all the improvements to my home. My house looks and feels so much nicer!!! Will definitely use them again!!!

Mike was referred to me for pre listing repairs and I also used him and his team for work at my new house. I was very pleased with the results in both circumstances. Prices were reasonable and the work was quality. They even helped me with an emergency leak just prior to closing on my home. The crew that completed my hardwood flooring brought to my attention pre-existing flaws. They conferred with me and gave recommendations on how to resolve the issues. For example, my chimney wasn't sealed properly and was the source of a leak unbeknownst to me. They could have ignored that fact and install the floor. For a very small fee, the source of the leak was abated.This company takes pride in their work from the removal of my carpeting, to the install, to the clean up. I will be hiring them for my future home improvement tasks. Hire this company you will not be disappointed.

Mike and his team built a roof top deck on my house. They were reasonably priced and finished on time. Mike went with me through ever step. I would Definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Michael Williams and others at MD Professional Contractors did a major overhaul of my aging deck. Everything from the joists up was replaced. They did a great job; stayed within the estimate and completed a big 16x30 deck in about 4 days, including hauling away all of the old wood. They screwed the top down instead of nails which would have been a lot easier. Their cost was considerably less than two other estimates that I received. I highly recommend them!

I have used this company several times. First, I had Mike, who’s customer service was outstanding, come to my home and fix a leak and the roof. After moving into a new place, Maryland professional contractors came and renovated the whole place for me and also recommended a great cleaning service. I then gave a referral to my family, who own commercial property, and they had Mr Williams and his crew come out to paint and hang some new steel doors. All of the work I’ve had done, I have been very pleased with and I would be happy to continue to use this company in the future.

Mike gave a very reasonable quote for the painting I needed done, so I went with him over the other 4 quotes I received. He and his help did great work and the one issue I had, was taken care of without hesitation. I would recommend his work as he was extremely responsive, they did great work and the price was right. Mike is always very responsive and available to do work for our sellers when needed! I can send him inspection reports and repair requests and he attends to it right away! He is very reasonable in price and his team is very professional. I recommend him to all my friends and clients.
