Chapin's team was professional in every way and performed quality work at a reasonable price. They renovated my porch and deck. Then, they sealed the foundation and deck. Also, repaired and painted the chain link fence in the front. All in a timely manner. When first shown the job, Nestor noticed things no one else had and this made my decisions on how to proceed much easier. I would definitely recommend Chapin Handyman and I would hire them again.

Nestor's team did a great job replacing and repainting my exterior trim! They were quick to respond and did very quality work. I can be particular at times, but they took direction and requests well. I was able to get an estimate the same day I reached out. Prices for the work were very reasonable. They were able to repair the ceiling in my bathroom and install a new bathroom fan all in one day. Very happy with the work.

We had Nestor and his team re-do all our plumbing in our townhouse and I honestly can’t imagine using a different company. Nestor and his team were professional, responsive, punctual, and efficient. I would HIGHLY recommend for any job you have

Cons:
Nestor's crew usually arrived very late than what you expected. I'm okay with that as long as they finished the whole project.

Nestor is not very good at commuicating with me. I always tried my best to keep calling / texting him until he finally replied me back. Not within 24-48 hours. For the next project, he was supposed to give me the quote and I waited too long. I now realized I don't have to keep chasing him all the way like I did with him for my living room project.

Pros:
Great work! Nestor's crew focused on my living room:

- Installed 6 LED recessed lights
- Removed the textured ceiling
- Painted the ceiling and crown molding

My living room now looks so much better.

Nestor and his crew were very professional throughout the process. They fixed various problems in our bathroom - exhaust fan, light switch, mold growth - and we are very pleased with the results. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Very pleased.

Nestor (the owner and manager) of Chapin Handyman was extremely responsive during quoting and execution of a drywall repair for water damage. I was able to reach him by phone and text, and his official quote was delivered by email and looked professional. His crew showed up on the agreed upon day and I was able to reach him quickly with additional questions. I will be asking him for future quotes on home repairs, because his communication was above average!

I have been using Chapin for about 5 years on various projects, each with increasing complexity. Each time they have risen to the challenge and provided a quality finished product in the timeframe specified. I couldn’t be happier with the most recent project (main level remodel, bathroom remodel, plus a lot more) they completed for me in June 2021.

Nestor and his crew have been spectacular. We originally hired them to do a few repairs in our condo that we were selling and were impressed by their professionalism, quality of work, and price.

We decided to use them for some projects on our new house:

- Painting some bedrooms
- Refreshing the kitchen (painted cabinets, replaced hardware, installed tile over backsplash)
- Resurfacing and staining deck with composite

We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work. The kitchen feels like a new kitchen (I feel like it has added significant value to the house) the deck is relaxing, peaceful and wonderful (before the boards were all wobbly!) and the painted bedrooms have no hint of the horrible colors they were before!!

Nestor is very clear about what work is to be done and he follows up. His crews are detail oriented and make sure it’s done right.

We are currently having them take care of a few other little things that need to be done.... and we plan on using them in the future!

I needed an old brick mailbox replaced. All the old bricks taken away and the new box installed. I was pleased with their efficiency and courtesy. They were prompt and prepared for the job; even the grass around the mailbox was replaced.

Showed up the same day on a Sunday to fix the frame and jam on my front door. I really did not want to sleep in my home without that door fixed. Thank goodness, they agreed to come out on the same day, a Sunday at that, and did a great job. I’m a single woman and felt totally comfortable with them there. Pricing was fair. Cash is better, since there’s a 3% charge on credit/ debit cards. Very satisfied with the work, punctuality, and responsiveness. Would definitely call them again.

I've been looking for a good handyman with reasonable prices for a while. Chapin has done a couple of jobs for me and each time I was more than pleased. Everyone for polite and professional. Definitely will be using them again.
