Called him out to check out and repair a roof leak, charged me $400, and it turns out all he did was put down some tar over the issue. He didn’t explain to me before hand what he was planning to do, other than “fix it”. (Which was being caused by a screws from a metal base from an old antenna fixture). Probably would’ve been fine if this worked, even though it looked wrong. It continued to leak after the next rainfall, albeit not as much, called him out again and asked if we can remove the metal base causing the leak and patch up the issue, he said he’ll look, he came back and just added more tar to a larger surface area. This did not seem to do anything after the next rainfall. Mentioned it again and he just told me I needed to remove my solar panels even though the problem area was not affected by the panels. Got the impression of being upsold.
Ended up calling a different company, who came out and properly fixed it quickly.
He was quick and communicative, so I did appreciate that.
Marks Roofing was an amazing experience. I had a roof that kept giving my home issues. I had gave them a call to give me an estimate. I liked the way everything was presented to me and had decided to use them for my roof. From start to finish the job was completed with ease. Clean, neat, and professional work!
