Jeremy and his team did excellent work removing two trees for me. He was by far the best estimate and the trees were removed within a week of our initial estimate!

In 2023, we obtained concrete-work estimates due to problems with frost heave & cracks in our driveway and porch steps. Although Ludemann Construction LLC had the highest bid, we went with them because of their five-year-workmanship warranty and the owner’s personal assurances.

Ludemann Construction completed the concrete work in early September 2023. Unfortunately, problems with the driveway presented immediately, with one section significantly discolored & varied in texture.

More problems presented within the first month—pitting & voids covered the entire driveway! When we notified the owner, he told us the issues were nothing to worry about. He texted, “one way or another you are in good hands. If we have to change some concrete in the Spring even if [concrete supplier] does not give us new material, I will still take care of you. . . One thing I promise you is that you have my word. I will see this through till the end.”

In early 2024, we experienced still more problems when frost heave—the main reason for replacing the driveway—occurred. The owner again assured us he would take care of everything in the spring.

After a year of being told Ludemann Construction would take care of the driveway problems, they pivoted. They said they considered the driveway “acceptable” despite the previously-acknowledged issues, but would replace the driveway again—if we paid an additional $12,500! Alternatively, they offered a payment of $1,500 as a “professional courtesy”—provided we agree to refrain from posting negative reviews regarding this job. We refused both in a 24 September 2024 letter.

We waited 90+ days after emailing said letter to provide Ludemann Construction the opportunity to honor their warranty. As they have not done so, we provide this review in hopes others will not undergo the same costly experience we have.

We are left with a stained & pitted driveway—which still exhibits the frost heave the costly driveway replacement was supposed to correct.

I called them to ask about doing a few construction projects. The guy immediately starts chewing me out for being a telemarketer??? (which I am not). I'm not sure how he got that, but you can be sure that I would NEVER give my business to a guy like that. What kind of a business would treat a potential calling customer like that?

This team has delivered efficient and high quality work for me on several projects in the last few years. I had Ludemann Construction remodel a house for me. They moved the front door. Knocked out a wall and added a wall somewhere else. They laid new flooring and the drywall guy was awesome. They were also awesome with my dogs as one of them takes some warming up to. Start to finish, it took a week. I loved the end result and they worked within my budget.

I used Ludemann Construction based off of a referral from a friend and I have to tell you OMG the work was incredible!!! I literally did not have one flaw in anything I am grateful for Jeremy and his staff, very friendly, polite and definitely funny! Ludemann Construction saved my house! I had a hot water main break just one month after moving into my new home and as a first time homeowner I had no idea what to do or who to call when boiling water filled my living room. Luckily I had a friend recommend Ludemann Construction to me! Jeremy came out the same day to explain what the process was, our timeline, and the cost estimate. I especially appreciated his integrity - when I asked if we needed to redo drywall or other elements he told me absolutely not, he could have a professional dry service come out and save me weeks of work and thousands of dollars. That interaction alone told me he wasn’t in it to make a buck, he was in it to do good work. His crew had my old floor ripped out, the foundation dried, a new floor completely installed in 2 days! And it’s honestly way better, more level, and less squeaky than the old floor! I’m already planning to hire Ludemann Construction for my next project (finishing my attic!) and have recommended them to multiple friends and family members.

For my first major project, windows and siding, I contacted Ludemann Construction. Jeremy was quick to meet to discuss what all I wanted done, and provided an estimate in a week!! Of all the other contractors I’ve met with, Jeremy was the most knowledgeable on every single thing I asked and was also very patient with me!! The guys that did the work, were extremely hard workers and very nice! They also were awesome with my two crazy dogs! I am so happy with how it all turned out!! Will be having them do more work in the near future!!

We had Ludemann Construction do both a small venting job and widen our driveway. Both crews were professional, skilled, and efficient. Our driveway addition is a great asset to our home and will allow guests to park off of the street. Prices were very reasonable. We contacted Ludemann Construction, received estimates, they scheduled and completed the jobs within two weeks! Jeremy is very responsive and great to work with!

They did great work in a timely manner. I had an old retaining wall removed and a new one installed with a drainage system. They also removed scrubbery around the house, poured a new patio, and replaced blocks with stone around a tree. I am very pleased with their work and would have no problem recommending them to others.

Jeremy and his crew did an amazing job! I had an addition put on the back of my house. It’s a smaller house so they had some remodeling inside too. They made it look so good. They crew was/is always very respectful and nice. If I had a concern or even a question (some may have been dumb questions), Jeremy didn’t hesitate to answer it. They were fantastic about working in my budget! They did a fantastic job keeping everything clean (as clean as you can during a remodel) and respected our privacy. They even helped with my dogs while we were gone and they were working! I seriously can’t say enough good things about them! 110% I would work with Ludemann Construction again!!

Ludemann Construction built an addition which included expanding our basement with a new bedroom and a new kitchen on our main floor. We enjoyed working with Jeremy. He understood our vision and helped us make decisions about what would look good as well as what we could do to make the most with our budget.

We had some miscommunications and scheduling issues early in the project with a project manager, but Jeremy took over and even took extra steps to get our construction back on track. Jeremy was patient with my impatience and explained the process without making me feel stupid for my ignorance.

They were always willing to adjust or correct things based on my feedback and went above and beyond in the quality we agreed upon. Our house is almost 100 years old, but the new addition fits right in with the original construction, even custom ordering a door for a pantry that is a perfect match.

We are continuing to hire Ludemann Construction for further project around our home.

Jeremy is a pleasure to work with in planning and executing our sidewalk and patio tear out and re-pour of concrete as well as staining and stamping. The prep work was thorough; the pour and stamp and stain was flawless; and the cleanup was excellent! I would recommend Ludemann Construction without hesitation and they will be my first and only call if ever needed for our next home project.

I was contacted by Ludemann yesterday. Lonnie no longer working there and using a new paint crew. Hope that makes other jobs go smoother than mine, but not changing my rating as my experience was not an A+. Think this company is best suited for construction work since most 5 ⭐️ ratings are for outdoor jobs. Finally done! Contracted work to tear down a wall, install new flooring and stairs w/ new railing, install new ceiling and build half wall. Also install new sliding door. While my home looks nice getting there was a challenge. Work was scheduled to start 7/5/22, but Lonnie called late afternoon Wednesday 6/27 wanting to start Thursday! Ok’d it - demo was done on thur and fri so had to live in my house over the 3 day weekend with all the trash. For some reason they didn’t pick it up until tues 7/5. Only worked 3 days this week due to crew had death in family. Following week Lonnie-THE FORMAN-finally shows to check on progress. Due to them scrapping the popcorn ceiling our walls were messed up so Jeremy ok’d to paint them no charge. Needless to say the rest of the week moved slow because paint crew had to tear down wallpaper. In turn my walls were ruined even more needing to be mudded and sanded and that was a mess! Jeremy’s painter-A&A Painting LLC-was THE WORST crew he sent!! 1st day they left, for what I assumed was lunch, about 11:45 or 12. At 2 still no one is back. We go to check upstairs and the mess was unbelievable!! My husband and I clean it up for an hour then leave the house. I get a call at 3:30 from Lonnie saying the painters are at the house is anyone there? When we get home and let them in, Alex, who’s English is not great, basically drops off his uncle and leaves. The man speaks no English! No idea what he even did other than smoke, have break out on my deck and keep his red bull in my fridge! He was picked up at 6:30 pm! Next day he starts spraying the ceiling! On these hot July days they have my house wide open, my ac is on! He gets paint on everything! My cabinets, antique furniture, appliances, and all I get is excuses and apologies! The floors and baseboards are installed with no problem by Dan. Alex has to come back to paint trim so I watch him like a hawk. First thing he does is spill water all across my new bamboo floors!!! He never cleaned up at end of day, they would leave their wet rags on the sub floor, tools on my tables, which were covered with plastic thinner than a garbage bag, wadded up tape on the floor. By the end of this project I just wanted it over. The only people I had a good experience with was Dan Murillo, the carpenter, and the siding guy Frank. Both I highly recommend as they were eager to help and get their job done right. Giving a 3 star rate. Ludemann needs to really work on communication. Once I signed the contract I never saw Jeremy again. Lonnie Wirth only showed when I had complained. I felt like I was the foreman always having to check who and what was going to happen. He never was there coordinating the project with the the subs. Was told a normal work day was 8-5 but ended up more like 9:30-3:30 most days. Found multiple bad reviews on A&A Painting so think Jeremy should rethink keeping him.

We highly recommend Ludemann Construction for any of your construction needs. They are honest, reliable and very particular in their work. They deliver quality service with highly skilled workmanship.

As a military family we have literally moved all over the world. My husband recently retired and we have decided, for the first time ever, to make some changes to our house to make it feel like our true home. The bathroom for guests and kids on our main floor was ridiculously tiny and dated. We asked Ludemann to open it up as much as possible and boy did they deliver! Not only was it the most reasonably priced bid we received, but the work was done in less than half the time the others estimated. Not only that, but they were able to squeeze us in quickly and they were so pleasant to work with. They were always on time or (many times) even earlier than they said they would be. This was one of my first times working with a contractor and I was incredibly nervous. I had heard so many horror stories, but I was quickly put at ease with everyone involved - they quickly responded and were extremely helpful when I had a question. The attention to detail in the work is amazing. I will try to add a picture later of the details, but they were spot on. Getting the job done so quickly and allowing us to get back to our lives without much interference was icing on the cake. I would and will recommend them to anyone needing work done in the future.

Jeremy and his crew remodeled my master bathroom, removing the outdated jacuzzi tub and putting in a fantastic large beautiful walk-in shower. I love it! I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew for ANY job! I plan to have him put in a three season porch and deck this Spring. You can trust him to do a great job!

We had a concrete pad installed for our camper. They were on time, they were very professional and work was done when they stated it would be. We would use them again for any other work.

Jeremy helped a elderly couple that I’ve known for forty years. He removed a 180 foot tree from there backyard yard that had falling branches on it they were afraid it was going to take out there house or power! They had no money to pay so Jeremy responded to my post on Facebook and donated his time to remove this tree. I give a great big shoutout to Jeremy and his employees you are truly a godsend! The recent storms and high winds took a toll on many of the mature trees in the Downtown Papillion neighborhoods. My elderly neighbors had an approximately 120-160 foot tree in their backyard that had been hit twice this Summer, knocking large limbs to the ground. Both times, the falling limbs just missed hitting their house and causing damage to their home. Unfortunately, since the house was not damaged, the couple's home insurance would not cover a removal of the offending tree.

Someone, in the family, sought out help to find a way to get the tree removed and not burden the pocketbook of the elderly neighbors. To the rescue came LUDEMANN CONSTRUCTION, LLC! On a cool Satuday morning, the Ludemann crew arrived on the scene with plenty of help. These residentail lumberjacks and saw-men tackled the task quickly and professionally. Watching these skilled laborers was a treat and the younger men they had cleaning up behind them worked non-stop.

Hand salute to Jeremy Ludemann and his crew for the kindness and the exhaustive labor they bestowed upon the older couple and their home. We can all learn a lesson from this business for showing everyone that sometimes, it is not the money that is earned as much as the service that you can do for others. Had my popcorn textured ceiling removed and replaced with a textured look in my kitchen and family room by Ludemann Construction. I also had them skim coat a bathroom which previously had wallpaper on the walls. These guys knocked it out of the park with the finished product. I would highly recommend these guys for any type of drywall finishing work that you need. Superior work at a reasonable rate. Thanks Ludemann Construction!

They were hired to repair the roof on the house and also repair and paint the siding after it received hail damage. The hail damage was not properly prepped pre-painting. There was finish work to be done on the shed behind the house. There was a window installed - backwards. They had to come back and reinstall that the correct way. The siding was damaged in the process of correcting the window installation. The trim work on the shed door was damaged as well. When Lonnie Wirtu was contacted about the problems - he said he was coming back to fix these things - and has not returned. (approximately 2 months ago). The job was paid in full. The work is going to have to be RE-done at our expense. I would not recommend using this company. If you do - make sure that you don't pay them in full until you have fully inspected their work. A deposit is one thing - the balance should not be required until AFTER the work is completed and inspected.

Driveway replacement was done efficiently, on time, and priced as agreed upon. Work crew was thorough and did not need much supervision which speaks to the foreman’s leadership and respect from his crew.

We got a front porch and back patio poured by these guys a few weeks ago and they were great! Efficient, clean and reasonably priced. We have now recommended them to several friends and family for their services. They took the time to work with us on what our needs are and made it happen! Super nice guys too. Highly recommend!!

Honestly have not had any work done by Ludemann Construction, BUT I had a flat tire on the interstate. Jeremy, as a complete stranger, pulled over and changed the tire for me while I was waiting for my husband. I had damage on my roof and I contacted Ludemann for a quote. He was at my house that day and quoted me. His guys came by the next day and repaired my roof and fixed the ceiling in my bathroom. Super quality work, a fair price and a timely response. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

They were quick to come look at my roof after the Benson area hail storm in 2017 . I had been looking for a contractor to do venting and insulation . They were able to combine that work and save me money then and I'm saving on my utilities now .

I had Jeremy come out and do a bid for my main bathroom in 2016. We decided to go with another company Platinum bath because they cost less. Well long story short that company took our down payment along with several other customers and left town.
Jeremy was going through his opened files and contacted me. He came out and did another bid for the main bath. They did a wonderful job done in a week. The drywall guys were efficient, cleaned up after themselves, no dust anywhere. The tile guys were wonderful and his plumbers did a great job!

Terrible service! I was looking to get a quote for finishing my basement and was recommended this company by someone on Facebook. I contacted Jeremy Ludemann via Facebook to see about arranging a day for someone to come out and take a look at our basement to provide a quote. He wrote that absolutely he could arrange something and asked for my number so he could give me a call to discuss the next day. I never received the call, which was no big deal to me initially, as I know contractors are busy this time of year. I followed up with him via Facebook again several days later on a Sunday to check in and make sure I didn’t miss something from him, as I was arranging multiple other contractors to come out the next week as well and wanted to keep everything straight. He was very short and rude with me on Facebook, that I had disturbed his weekend (by sending a Facebook message apparently?) and he was no longer interested. He then blocked me. I was very surprised and taken aback, never met this guy before in my life and due to this Ludemann Construction will never earn my business. I received much better professional response and service from multiple other contractors providing me with bids!
