Lorleberg True Value

I bought 2 50# bags of salt for the driveway At first it was hard to get the bags off the pallet and several young employees were sitting around on their phone. Next at checkout they never asked me if I could use a hand. cashier was in a hurry to return to his phone.

I love it. A small town hardware store. They are always the best. I just stopped by to have some keys cut and they were not only helpful but very friendly to. That's hard to find these days. A lot of the bigger stores have people who are just there to collect a paycheck. They don't care about helping anyone but themselves. It's really nice to find a place like Lorieberg True Value. I will most certainly be coming back and recommending you to friends and family.

Good store, friendly people. Only very occasional lapses in service - but that is because of the plague affecting all retail operations nowadays, namely, recruiting, and keeping staff. I support the store as much as I can, because these brick and mortar operations are fast disappearing.

Super friendly neighborhood hardware store. I've only been in for essentials so far, but they've had pretty much everything I went in for and every single person I encountered wanted to help (but not in the annoying electronics store way).

Great people to work with and I can usually find what I’m looking for whether it’s tools, paint or
Glass for a broken window!

I'm not as happy with this store due to the scarcity of staff to help you. I have been there and watched staff walk by you as if you were a statue. I do have to say I was there a day ago and I actually found a young man to help me find an item I was looking for, but that is rare. I would say also that a lot of their items cost less than Ace but most of the shelves are poorly stocked.

This is a great location. I have not always had the best experiences at True Value but that is not true for this location, love going here. They are very helpful, finding products for you quickly so you can be on your way.

Love this store. Feels like an addition to my home. Super friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. They have saved me time, money, offer creative solutions.

We called a number of Toro dealers in the area with no luck being a Sunday ,nobody was open. My husband called Lorleberg's and was pleasantly surprised they had the part to repair our snowblower! Often times we look to the big box stores for one stop shopping,we need to support local businesses!

They have everything I need to work on my projects. I mostly come here for nuts & bolts. I'm never disappointed. Quick in and out. Makes my life easier and more convenient.

I always shop n compare prices. Lorleburgs prices today beat, Ace Hardware, Fleet Farm, Farm Fleet, Home Depot and Amazon ... I came home from there very happy with my purchase. And their customer service is always above n beyond friendly n helpful.

I have shopped here for years and typically have a good experience. I have taken many belts here and they work with me to find the right one. I brought in a belt today and was told I need to have a part number. I said I've brought in belts in the past and we find what I'm looking for. Was told no I had to hunt down the part number. So I just went someplace else to get it. I find myself going to Fleet Farm more and more. I hope it's just one lazy employee and not the store.

The staff is always helpful and present not like at the big box hardware stores. I will continue to shop with them. And keep my money in the community.

Right as we got through the door an employee approaches us, we received directions. We looked at other things before getting to the section we were originally looking for, we looked around and saw that same employee doing laps by where we were just watching. Finally went to our section, same employee came by looking around. Then we moved to a different section, other employees looked at us. When we were checking out a different employee came from a top part down the stairs and kept staring at us. Then when we looked at him he started to fidget with something useless. Does this have to do something with my race? I saw another person in there and this wasn’t happening there. It’s ridiculous this happens so close to home.

Well keep and stocked. Very helpful,courtess. Prices compare with other places. Would be wise to shop there if you need quality items. I will.

Went to Lorleberg's to buy some ice melt this morning. The gentlemen on the floor quickly ran me through my options and was very helpful. I went to purchase my items and the cashier wasn't able to process my transaction. She wasn't trained to cancel the sale and she left me with the options of either walking out empty-handed or going to an ATM to get cash. I went to the other hardware store down the road instead and their POS was working great.

Service is ALWAYS first rate. Prices are very competitive and you are supporting a local business. I prefer Lorleberg to the big box chains.

Very disappointed in the shop. We always have taken things in for repair. Took a chainsaw in for minor repair. It started and worked when we took it in now it won’t start after Weeks of waiting for it. They have no idea. When we would call after about 4 weeks of waiting they didn’t even know where it was took a few days to even get a call back. I understand people retire but if they hire new repair people they should know what they are doing. Lots of excuses no answers

Kind, helpful staff. But if you’re looking for something specific and it’s out of stock you’ll probably be waiting a while. We’ve been waiting on a gallon of paint for 2 weeks now and was told it will likely still be another few weeks. I called in to see if it was there, was told yes, only to arrive in person and be told they’re out. Very disappointing.

Been shopping there for thiry years. People are very nice. Seems like you can find what you need to make it work.
