Vince and Melanie have a beautiful showroom on Washington Road! They are very professional and knowledgeable and showed me wonderful options for my home!

We left a factual review previously and Vince Lorenzi asked us to remove the review pending resolution of contractural disagreements. We met with Vince and this is our final, factual review:
Lorenzi Deck workers were friendly, detail oriented and produced a quality, beautiful deck. That is why we gave three stars.
Our issues still remain the same as stated in our initial review, despite our meeting with Vince in October.
Attention Future Customers:
Get answers to any questions documented on your contract in DETAIL up front and as your project progresses. Ex: Lattice was included in final quote but Vince wrote that final STYLE would be decided later. We paid for ALL basic lattice costs over and above the final deck quote bc his interpretation of "style" became the entire cost after contract signing in Nov 2021. OVERTHINK AND GET DETAILS DOCUMENTED. Ex: Get the $ amount per feature of your deck itemized at the start. Do NOT go with a promised overall price. Plans change: we took out a full staircase with one platform but the price deduction at the end was minimal and totally at the discretion of Vince. ITEMIZE UP FRONT FEATURES. We asked for interim cost updates 5 times and never received one. His answer to us: I sent them. (Despite texts telling him we did not get them.)
Service Delivery:
Our deck was started June 14, 2022. Completed September 25, 2022. Vince works on many, many decks at the same time. His workers could not tell us if they would be back the next day or the next week. It did not matter if our deck was left sitting for weeks. Workers packed up all tools and equipment the end of EACH day bc they were assigned to any deck project EACH A.M.
Communication with Vince:
The above delivery method requires careful & thoughtful communication with customers but Vince did not initiate communication with us and did not respond to 90% of our texts or phone calls regarding when workers would be back or what would be worked on next. We stopped asking bc we thought we were pestering him. But not contacting him did not change our situation.
Ex: The ONLY downspout left, due to deck construction, on the back of our house was not connected for TWO MONTHS. Water poured out of the gutters and down the foundation of the house. We told Vince twice. His comment to us later: I did not know.
Ex: Vince was on site for our deck twice from June to September. Those two times we were home but he did not talk to us. His comment later: I do not have time. We tried getting information from his workers but Vince told us to stop asking them because they don't know.
Final Impression: Vacations, sprained ankle of a worker can cause understandable delays but there is no excuse for constant poor to no communication with customers. We were asked to understand many times and we did but we should not have had to initiate ALL communication with Vince except two times. Eventually we became very frustrated with never knowing when work on the deck would begin again day to day. It is now November 29, 2022 and we have been promised to have one last thing fixed. We are still waiting after 3 dates have come and gone and no one showed up and Vince did not tell us why. (It is not his workers, they go where he tells them to go.) Despite our meeting last month with Vince about contract and communication problems, we are still having the same problems. He asked us to take down ourn initial review. We did. But he has not changed. Moral of the story: You will get a quality deck that looks beautiful but don't expect anything more in terms of customer service and satisfaction.

The Lorenzi Deck Company put a new TimberTech porch with a roof on our home in October 2021. Vince laid out a design for the porch we always wanted. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. His employees are highly skilled and attentive to any questions or need. They gave us the porch we wanted and we spent much time on it this past summer. We would never hesitate to highly recommend Vince Lorenzi and company to anyone.

From start to finish Vince was very professional, on time, and very thorough from the design to the install. The quality of product is top notch.

We removed our factually based review pending a discussion of contractural disagreements and fixing of the leak in the new red cedar ceiling. A new review will be filed in the future.
UPDATE 11/31/22: Vince met with us but no progress was made. See “Bottom Line” at end.
The three stars are for Vince Lorenzi’s workers. They were nice, went out of their way to help us, very skilled. They built a beautiful, high quality deck. Vince uses quality materials and has a good eye for design and color.
We were hugely dissatisfied with several areas, SUGGESTIONS for future customers:
1. During design and contract talks get every detail and verbal promise written down and prices itemized per design part of the deck. Do not go with only an end price and a general listing of materials per design part.
2. Vince has multiple deck projects going on simultaneously. His workers are assigned to any project EVERY AM. Workers pack up all tools and materials each night. Our deck was started June 14 and finished early October. Ex: The only rear-of- house gutter went unconnected for 2 months, rain poured off roof and down house foundation.
3. Vince did not keep us updated or informed. We had to ask repeatedly when work would start again and he responded about 10% of the time. We stopped asking but less occurred; offered to bring in our own contractors—then work started again for several days. Vince was on site twice during the 3.5 month construction. We were home. We asked why he didn’t talk to us: “I don’t have time.”
BOTTOM LINE: You will get a beautiful deck but customer service, method of construction and communication with Vince get zero stars.

We had an outstanding experience from the initial quote to the final deck installation. Vince had great vision for a design and color scheme that would work for our house and he clearly communicated the plans and timeline. The project started right on time and proceeded efficiently. The workers were very courteous and professional, and were detail oriented in their craftsmanship. We love our new deck and are looking forward to using it a lot during the warm weather!

I am giving a one star because I can't give a zero. Our deck project has gone on for over one year. Still unfinished. The garage under the Lorenzi deck has developed a leak and is showing mold. Mr Lorenzi states that he will show up at a certain time and fails to do so. His promises of correction are not fulfilled. Water issues all around the project are not addressed. He is working on many other projects leaving ours hanging. Totally unsatisfactory work and response to our concerns. Not listed with the BBB or this complaint would be filed with them.

My husband and I were getting estimates for building our dream deck on our new home we spent countless hours researching companies and started attempts to set up appointments with contractors. Several contractors set appointments and no show no phone call very disappointing as well as a waste of our time. A contractor gave a price over the phone without as much as a visit to assess the size and what product we were interested in. Lorenzi Deck Company was one of the most Professional companies I’ve had the pleasure to work with, appointment was set Vincent Lorenzi showed up on time, sat down and asked us what we were looking for, showed us products at different price points he walked the site where our deck is to be built, he measured and took photos. Vince Lorenzi drew up the plans emailed them to us asked if we wanted to change anything, he suggested ideas as well as ways to make it fit into our budget. Mr Lorenzi is the utmost professional and personable contractor I would rather use artist or exterior designer he has an eye for coordinating deck colors that compliment your home! We feel that he was more than fair on prices not the cheapest nor the most expensive but looking at the fact that his staff is his staff not subcontractors he maintains consistency with all his builds! Keep up the great work I certainly will recommend you to anyone that needs a Deck.

We had an excellent experience with Lorenzi Deck Company. Mr Lorenzi helped us to design a deck that was just what we were looking for. He gave us a very clear and detailed proposal. The construction workers were responsible and friendly. They keep the work site clean, showed up when Mr Lorenzi said they would and were very professional. I enjoyed getting to know them as individuals. We had no issues with our deck after construction, it was better than expected. We partially chose Lorenzi Deck Company because our next door neighbor and neighbor two doors down had used them and were both very pleased with the service they received, the workers that came to their home and the finished product. They fully deserve a five star rating!

Vince Lorenzi and his company have built two decks for us. The quality is impeccable and attention to detail well beyond our expectations. We highly recommend!

Working with Vince and Melanie was nothing but a positive experience. The construction workers were extremely polite young men and more than capable. Our deck looks fabulous and anyone who knows the work always exclaims how well it was made! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Most important......the deck was completed on time!

Don't schedule an appointment with this company, they can't even follow up on a phone call! If they can't even show up to measure and give you an estimate how can they guarantee you an installation , I rated them at one star, because that's the lowest I can go, they tell you there having a sale before there's a price increase , what a joke

Would love to give them 5 stars because the work and products were excellent. However after ordering a custom mahogany front door with all associated black hardware, the door had a mixture of nickel hinges and brass thresholds with a light wood accent piece. They changed the hinges to black, but stuck with the rest. So do your homework when ordering and you won’t be disappointed. Extremely happy with their craftsmanship.
