I was referred to LJ contractor from several friends that had roofs put on, l explained to him i wanted my chimney taken down, complete roof and gutters, Jim came out to look at the project and gave me a very reasonable estimate, several days later the crew was there at 7am i came home for lunch at noon they were cleaning up, the house and garage were finished, gutter crew were there the next morning had it done in a few hours, I was completely satisfied with LJ contractors from the communication to the clean up, I highly recommend, roof and gutters look great

I have had LJ Contractors on my mind for a while now! When the hail storm hit South Milwaukee last year, our neighborhood got hit very hard and there were literally a dozen people coming to everyone's home trying to get there business for repairs.
We bypassed the storm chasers and asked a very reliable friend in the gutter business who he would recommend for our roof and siding. Without hesitation, he gave us Jim's name from LJ Contractors.
We were not disappointed in the least! Jim and his crew helped us understand the process, pick out roof and siding styles & colors and kept us in the loop on start times and supply strains. The crew we had working on our home were very pleasant, extremely efficient, meticulous, tidy and timely. We were also happy with the fact that Jim would act as a go between when we felt stuck with our insurance company.
The end result of our home is beautiful and will be for years to come, its a great feeling! We were also happy with the competitive pricing. I would definitely let Jim use our home as a reference for future clients. Hopefully we won't have to go through this again, but Jim is the first one I would call!

Jim and his company were recommended to me by a good friend of mine who has never steered me wrong in the past. I was thoroughly impressed with the way he presented himself with the estimate and his knowledge of roofing. Excellent communication and was impressed with how fast the crew of guys, did the job and the cleanup process. My roof looks awesome and I would highly recommend !

I had new LP siding put on, a new roof, and new gutters..I am thrilled, it looks like a brand new house.. Jim, Austin and his crew did a great job..Jim went over what they were going to plan on getting done every day...Every body was very professional, which is not easy to find today...I also had gotten a few quotes and there price was more than fair.. So as you can see, I would highly recommend....

My wife and i cannot put into words how great this company is and the job they do. Austin was always easy to get a hold of. Jim the owner was very professional and all of their workers do amazing work. Very clean, respectful of our yard. Could go on forever about this company. LJ Contractors did an excellent job installing a metal roof on our existing pergola, solving our problem of lack of shade on our patio. Work was done in a timely manner and we are still able to enjoy the last remaining days of summer sun under the protection of our beautiful new structures.

We were caught in a bind. Our son came three months early and when putting together the nursery, we found the ceiling had some wet spots. Jim came out the next day to get on the roof and give us a quote...and this was in January.

After showing me pictures of my roof of over 25 issues, he gave us two options: a band-aid that could last up to two years or a brand new roof that comes with a 15 year warranty on the product.

We chose to just get the whole thing done. They priced it out, and made sure to get the roof done in time for our son to come home. We are super thankful to Jim and his team for working tirelessly on a really tight timeline. I'd recommend LJ Contractors to literally everybody.

IN SOME PLACES CLOSE TO 3 FEET OF SNOW…
I would rather be proactive rather than sorry later, so I called Jim and he was very pleasant over the phone. He preceded his arrival with a courtesy phone call and showed up early ready to work which is typically a mark of a professional. Him and his team of 2 others were done clearing my roof in under an hour, and my wife and I had peace of mind again. Thank you for a such a job well done, Jim!

Furthermore, we had a few questions afterward, and my wife was comfortable with him in our home which is very VERY important to me! We pointed out a minor, what appeared to be a stain on the ceiling in one of our back closets in a back bedroom. He gave us an explanation of what it might be, he then proceeded to take a peek in our attic and reassured us that there was proper ventilation and insulation and that everything looked good.

My wife also wants to change the look of the front of our house, and so he recommended some things to look at as well. He was well spoken when answering all of our questions and spoke knowledgeably about everything having to do with his craft. He gave us a really wonderful first impression and so we might have him do this project as well in the near future. He is coming back on Monday for a follow up visit to check things over.

Jim and his team did an awesome job, and I would highly recommend him for quality professional work!

Jim and his partners did an awesome job on our rubber roof replacement. We were given a fair quote which was honored. They went out of there way to make everything perfect and make our flat roof more aesthetically pleasing when looking up from the ground. It's the little touches that make a difference. Very honest hard workers! Job was done in a timely manner. I will be hiring them again for my gutters and future roof projects!
