Liptak Restoration

I cannot recommend Liptak Restoration highly enough. They were quick, and went above and beyond making sure the damage was eradicated and my house like nothing ever happened. The tecs were friendly and made a stressful situation a whole lot less stressful.

Very appreciative if the work, time, guidance and expertise of Josh Pierce at Liptak. He was very helpful in figuring out solutions and temporary fixes for my basement and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Definitely recommend him and Liptak.

Liptak did a fantastic job of restoring and repairing our ceiling after a pipe cracked and leaked through the ceiling. Chris and his team were very friendly, kind, and understanding. They kept us informed throughout the process and were very thoughtful in considering the age of our home. A huge plus was Chris' knowledge of working with insurance. He was our advocate throughout and handled all insurance communications. Highly recommend.

Update:
Once the water removal was done. They took their equipment and left and said they would let me know what would happen next. Four weeks went by and I heard nothing. Not a phone call. Nothing. The estimate to my insurance company for water removal took 3 weeks & seemed highly inflated. Talking about the time they spent at my house which was not accurate. I understand with insurance paying it’s tempting to inflate prices. I was willing to overlook them gauging my insurance company if they would come out and do the estimate for the repairs so I could get going on that. They only wanted to do the repairs if they were the sole contractor, and the money was paid directly to them from my insurance company. I had decided to upgrade my bathroom, which they wouldn’t be doing, so they canceled their repairs estimate. So now almost 5 weeks after they left my house I still have no repairs done. I have no bathroom, no way to bathe myself. I’m very disappointed. For water removal Liptak is amazing. For repairs I’m very disappointed. I still stand by my original post about my water leak emergency , I just expected the same attention towards my repairs.

I had a desperate emergent water leak, water damage situation and was referred to Liptak Restoration. They came to my house within a couple of hours. Scotty described everything that was going to happen, the testing of the ceiling and walls, the dehumidifiers, and the tear down and repair. Chris came shortly after Scotty and continued to explain the stages of water damage restoration. Both were very knowledgeable and helped me understand how insurance worked and got my insurance information to send estimates directly. I had to go out of town and they communicated with my house sitter seamlessly. They also contacted the plumber for some things that needed to be done so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. We’re only part way through this project but I have no doubt that everything will be done efficiently and professionally. I’m so glad they are guiding me through this unfortunate disaster.

Would not recommend. My basement flooded due to my water heater, the work that they did with tearing out the walls and drying the basement was great, however, we discussed and they said they would also do the repairs- they did not. I have not heard back from them since. I have called multiple times and didn't hear anything back. I then received an email- letter of representation. Stating not to contact liptak directly and that I owe blank amount, ok, and $1,700 of interest fees. I would look at other companies before them.

Horrible service, not recommended at all. I had a waterpipe burst in my Kitchen and contact them in April, they stared very professional went home , reviewed the insurance estimate and said they could do the job within the budget, they went and removed the floor , the walls and out big industrial fans for a whole weekend saying they were going to be back on Monday and they didn't a few days went by when they sent someone to pick up the fans but not to start the job. The communication was horrible and they kept me like that for months only communication was asking for the payment for the mitigation, weeks went by and no communication. At last they said they had to request more money from insurance and when they insurance said they were not going to pay anymore they just told me they couldn't do the job, this is already in July, 3 months in my house without floor, wall , breathing dust. We got a pinhole in a copper pipe and it released a lot of water all over our condo. The wall-to-wall carpeting had to be removed in several rooms and some walls had to be cut into to remove mold that had begun. The fellows were very polite and quick to pull apart everything, but it turns out that they were so careless and aggressive they damaged the walls when pulling out the baseboards. After the second day I discovered that a large clear plastic box of valuable jewelry was missing. I had taken many photos and could see that it was on the vanity in one photo and then not in the next photo that had been taken 5 minutes later. When I questioned them about it they said that they are not allowed to touch any personal items--that the homeowner has to remove them. They then claimed that I told them to discard that box. Discard our box of valuable jewelry??? Are they kidding?? Also, the insurance adjuster who came to evaluate things was furious that Liptak's many heating machines in the condo had been running for almost 2 weeks. He told us that it was totally unnecessary and incompetent of them to have filled our place with those machines. What a nightmare. And we never got our jewelry and had to file a report with the police.

I called for assistance with a sewage backup in my basement. I was told that I needed to call a plumber to have the blockage removed, but that someone would call me back within 2 hours to tell me when a crew could be sent out. I never received a call back at all! This is such a stressful situation and no call back was disappointing.

Liptak responded quickly and professionally to my personal disaster. They are kind, courteous, respectful and caring. All of their staff are friendly and patient as emotions run high in these situations. They helped to clean and sanitize and remove what was needed. I would always call them and only them for personal and business related needs

First time we worked with Liptak's on our kitchen, they were fantastic. We have called them 4 times in 7 days to repair and replace our bathroom ceiling. We were told on every call that we would hear from them within 24 hours. It is now 10 days later and zero response from them. Time to move on.

A faulty toilet installation on my first floor led to water damage and mold in my basement bathroom. I found Liptak as I searched for what it would take to fix this, and they left my basement bathroom better than it was even before the leak.

They removed the drywall and insulation that had water damage, removed the water, sprayed for mold, did air cleanup, and put my bathroom back together. I hope I won't need to deal with water damage in the future; but if I do, I know who to call.

I cannot say enough about the service I received from Liptak . Each and everyone of their employees was professional and respectful. Seth answered my million questions and Keith put my basement back together after our sewer line backed up into our finished basement. We’ve never had to make an insurance claim before and these guys truly made everything easy. They went above and beyond ...even taking extra care with my pets❤️ I’d have nobody else after experiencing the Liptak level of service. Highly recommended

THIS WAS MY REVIEW RIGHT AFTER BASEMENT RESTORATION REBUILD WAS DONE!
This is my review after trying multiple times to get them to come out and fix the basement floor that is leaking water everytime we get a heavy rainstorm. March 16 th 2024 we finally pulled up the beautiful floor to find the source of the water getting in is exactly what we told them. The holes left in the floor from the prior floor they pulled up and didn’t seal !!! They put plastic over it and floor on top. This restoration was not cheap insurance paid a pretty penny. I’m attaching pictures to show what we found in the holes with water as soon as you vacuum it up with wet vac it fills back up. It is very sad a business we were once so happy with doesn’t stand by their work. If you disturb concrete by pulling spikes out of it one would presume you would seal it . Pulling up the floor was our last resort to solve the water issue. We picked that floor out personally it truly breaks my heart but three inches of water this last big storm and two calls to Liptak with a I’ll call you back I want to come look at it and NO CALL back we have to do something before another storm hits ! I don’t recommend them if you want a business that follows up with issues….. this was a basement that’s been finished for 33 years no water ! We all know pulling spikes out of concrete creates fractures and disturbs the original foundation one would assume they’d seal it . These calls have been going on since 6 months after completion. Calls to insurance company who then told us to call Liptak ourselves. So very disappointed ☹️

We had a water pipe to our furnace burst in the basement while we were at work. Water flooded our basement and caused a great deal of damage to both the utility room and the playroom. We called Liptak Restoration that evening to see if they could help us out. They were very professional over the phone and responded immediately with a cleanup crew. the service was fantastic and we could tell immediately that we called the right company for the job. We couldn't be more pleased with the way that they handled the situation. If you ever have the need for a restoration service, you can't go wrong with Liptak.

Liptak went above and beyond to help with the water damage that occurred in my home. They were extremely fast, professional, and reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend them to anyone!

Can't say enough good things about this company. They showed up quick after the phone call for a flood in our basement. Workers were extremely nice and took care of everything. Would definitely call them again.

Liptak was great to work with. The initial emergency call was answered very quickly on a weekend. Their work was excellent and the people very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

so my basement flooded and as a newer home owner i had no idea what to do. i called LIPTAK Restoration and im very happy i did. I was able to talk to the owner Cory where he took great care of me. he told me that Ben would be contacting me and coming to the house. a half hour later i recieved the phone call from Ben saying he is 22 Minutes away. once he arrived he calmed me down and told me everything will be alright and my wife and i are in great hands. when he said that there were no worries left. Ben then asked me when would we like our damaged finished basement to be torn out and dried due to the water. i looked at my wife and she said when are you guys able to do this project... Ben looked us in the eyes and said i can have a crew here in 25 minutes. we agreed to take that challenge up and before we knew it bens crew showed up and offered helping hands in clearing out everything in our basement. they went out of their way to bring everything we had upstairs and neatly stored everything in our spare bedroom. to me its the little things i appreciate and from right there i knew we nailed it in having the right company fixing our home.

once everything was torn out Liptak restoration came to my house every day to check the moisture levels in my basement and completely dried out the damage.

Shane contacted me to ask to come over and check out my basement to see what it is going to take to repair everything. he also reassured me we were going to be alright. He is the guy that makes sure the budget is there but more importantly the job is done correct. and they even went the distance to repainting everything!

Needless to say im super happy with the outcome and the customer satisfaction 10/10. anyone i know that has damages such as mine, im going to tell them all about my experience. thank you Cory Liptak and company for taking the stress of this experience off my shoulders and making my home complete again.

They were contracted by my insurance company to deal with water damage and mold in my home after my water heater gave out. They arrived within two hours of my calling the insurance company and began work right away. It took a while due to more pressing issues at other homes (totally understandable) and everyone with whom I dealt with on this project was nothing but professional. Hopefully I won't have to, but if the need ever arose I would call them again without hesitation.

Every detail ... every need was provided to us after water and mold damage. Shane has been an active project manager checking on things each day. The crew that came to our home Jason, Timmy and Scott were always professional, detailed and neat. We truly appreciate Liptak’s.

Absolutely impeccable customer service. I am in the process of purchasing a home through the VA and there was a possibility of mold in the basement. The original inspection was done by Mr. Home and they told me that the estimated cost to remove it was around $3,000. I called Liptak for a second opinion and they reassured me that in their opinion it was not to the extent that Mr. Home originally said. I want to mention too that Mr. Home never did an actual inspection, a little shady. Liptak came and performed an actual mold test and they received the results in a timely manner. Now I am moving forward with my closing. Thank you Cory and Ben !!!

I had extensive water damage at my house and called Liptak for help. They came right out and set up all the equipment and had everything cleaned up and dry faster than I thought possible. They not only prevented further damage to my house but they were so professional and polite. I can not say enough good things about them. I will definitely recommend them to everyone.

I called many restoration companies over a period of time for water damage that was done in the basement of my house. Liptak was the first company to call me back in a timely manner and was very helpful over the phone. They are easy to work with. They were very honest and upfront about what it would take to fix the problem and they worked with me to get the job done correctly and promptly. By the way, their prices are AMAZING! very reasonable. My friend and I had water damage from a leaking bathtub that was then progressed into the basement creating mold. Liptak was very considerate about our health and used a meter to test the problem. They advised us on the steps it would take to fix it and they were very clear. We agreed to let them do the job. It was completed on time and as agreed. WE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
