Linear Roofing & General Contractors LLC

My experience with Linear Roofing was not positive. Mark Larson has absolutely no respect for private property. I live in a gated community and on the gate there is a sign that says no soliciting and yet Mark Larson still felt the need to go door to door. The gate also has another meaning, no trespassing. Under Texas Penal Code § 30.05 it states a physical structure which in this case was a gate preventing entry. Just because one person requested a quote, as soon as Mark Larson went to any other house it was criminal trespass. So if you decide to use Linear Roofing, my experience with them shows a lack of respect of property and willing to break the law to gain business.

Locally there is also a law prohibiting what they did:
Sec. 4.05.006. - Entrance to premises restricted.
It shall be unlawful for any peddler, solicitor, mobile food establishment, temporary food establishment operator or seasonal food establishment operator to enter upon any private premises or to ring the doorbell or rap or knock in any way in a manner calculated to attract the attention of the occupant when such premises are posted with a sign stating "No Peddlers Allowed" or "No Solicitations Allowed" or other words to such effect.

Given that on the gate a no soliciting sign was posted, that covers all houses in the gated community.

There are many roofing contractors, this is not the one you want to use unless you want to hire a company that is willing to commit a crime just to sell their services.

The level of professionalism and communication with the Linear Roofing team (Project manager Daniel Laureno and Crew chief Salvador) was outstanding. Both Mr. Daniel and Salvador actions and work speak highly of the Linear Roofing. The team made time to answer all our questions, assisted in understanding our insurance coverage, explaining upgrading in material, and recording/identifying all damages ahead of insurance evaluator. Their team worked very efficiently in the replacement of our roof and gutters with a great job in cleaning all the area around of our home after completed. The work was documented by pictures (before, during and after) and made available to us with a certificate of completion for our insurance company. Mr. Daniel Laureno and Mr. Salvador are asset to the company and by their high level of work/professionalism I can easily recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Denzel Moore of Linear Roofing was very helpful, courteous, professional and timely. He would call the day before to remind me of my appointments to ensure there were no problems. The crew's tidiness was a definite plus. All material was placed in receptacles and my property looked presentable throughout the process. They cleaned as they worked.

We had severe roof damage from a hail storm and it was difficult to select one contractor out of the many available options, but I am glad that we went with Linear Roofing. Our service agent, Denzel Moore, was absolutely terrific. He is honest, hard working, and very communicative. I highly recommend Linear Roofing and Denzel.

We recently had a new roof installed by Zach Walen with Linear Roofing based in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, and the entire experience better than we expected. From start to finish the process was seamless. Zach kept us informed every step of the way, including permitting, material delivery, before and after photos including drone shots, and more. He answered every single one of my (many) questions with patience and clarity.

I had a bad experience with another roofing company in North Carolina last year, so I was a bit cautious. Zach completely understood my concerns and put me at ease. He knew we were under a tight deadline due to insurance requirements and got the permitting process started the day we closed on the house. He even worked with us before closing to finalize materials and details.

I highly recommend Zach and LR. He was responsive, professional, and made what could’ve been a stressful process incredibly smooth. Once my roof situation aka lawsuit in NC gets resolved I will gladly hire you guys to redo the roof on my cabin!

Best experience of life time was when I met roof contractor Kevin Salazar.
From when Kevin found out that my roof was leaking water into the bedroom closet. Kevin was like a troop and said I'll come over right now and fix it. That's when I totally gave Kevin my faith. So I told him let's just wait come over let's negotiate. While doing the negotiations Kevin experience along with trust. I knew this was the contractor who was going to get the job. The job was to completely remove the roof leaving it down to just the 4x4s. Kevin kept his word took ownership of the job. I really felt in great hands. To me it was not about the money was more of how loyal Kevin Salazar was to his word. That's what sold the deal. I wish the best for Kevin and keep on roofing.....

Linear Roofing installed a new roof on my home in January 2024. I am (belatedly) posting this review because of the outstanding work they did. I am especially appreciative of the stellar customer service I received from Project Manger Mike Jones.

Before I signed the contract, Mike sat down with me several times to answer my long list of questions and discuss the details of the job. When I encountered major pushback from my home insurance on covering the damage done to my roof by hail, he coached me through the process of persevering with my insurance company--and not giving up in the face of their refusals to cover my claim.

Mike's advice paid off BIG-TIME when eventually 100% of my claim was covered. The installation of my new roof was first-rate from start to finish. I give Linear Roofing my highest recommendation.

The roof installation crew were on time, efficient and completed the work on schedule. Robert Ferguson with Linear Roofing did a great job right from explaining the work involved, about how the insurance claim works and going over every work item that was in the insurance claim letter.

Robert Ferguson with Linear was awesome to deal with even if the the insurance company wasn't so much. Once we had a date set the roof went on in less than a day and he kept me informed every step of the way and even met the insurance adjuster on site to make sure all damage was properly noted.

On several occasions he called the insurance company to keep the ball rolling on repairs and gave advice on how to proceed.

Tyler took very good care of us. His crew and additional contractors sent to our house gave us a beautiful new roof, a beautiful new garage door, and a beautiful restored fence in our backyard. Everyone was helpful and prompt and did professional work.

We had a few storms here in Kansas, with some big hail balls. Johnny D. Was so helpful though out the whole process. From talking to the insurance adjuster to advising me to change the roof policy so I don’t have to pay as much out of pocket next time. The roof looks great. No more leaks. The roof replacement took two days. One drop off minerals, two roof replacement. They put down tarps to protect plants and boards to protect windows. They even went through the yard with magnets to get any nails or metal that fell. Will recommend. Never once did I feel pressure to use this company. Johnny D. Made it so easy. Thanks.

Linear replaced the roof of a neighbor who was extremely pleased, and while working on that job Johnny inspected our roof which also had hail damage. We moved forward with a claim and Johnny walked us through every step of the process, handling all of the coordination with insurance as well as subcontractors for additional damage beyond the roof. Well I was outside doing yardwork when this very nice lady walks up and starts talking to me. Long story short that sweet, kind, amazing, smart and just best ever supervisor Heather Griffiths handled our roof replacement from the horrible hail storm. I recently had my roof replaced by Linear after significant hail damage, and overall, it was a great experience. There was the usual back and forth with insurance, but Paul, the Project Manager, truly had our best interests in mind. He ensured we were well taken care of, and the work was top-notch. Paul still checks in on us, even stopping by recently after another hailstorm. Their customer service has been excellent, and I’d definitely use them again for future roofing needs.

When I was buying a house and found out the roof was leaking and needed to be completely replaced, I was immediately stressed and nervous about what would come next. Linear Roofing was absolutely amazing! I worked with Denzel Moore. His knowledge, attention to detail, and attentiveness were top notch! He really listened to me during the consultation when i said that over communication was not enough ☺️
I had a very complicated case in that my husband had passed and I was having some issues with getting the final check from the mortgage company. Denzel and Linear Roofing were patient and compassionate.

The project included solar panel removal and reattachment, which can often cause delays. Not so in this case! Linear Roofing handled it seamlessly and reattached the solar panels better than the original install! I am 1000% satisfied and would definitely use and recommend Linear Roofing again!

I'm not one that usually writes reviews but people should know that Linear Roofing really does go above and beyond with their work. My project manager, Kris Bigham, was excellent to work with. Kris explained everything from beginning to end and was quick to respond to any questions I had. Even triple checked that the roofers repaired my ailing siding problem on my chimney with new siding and replaced all the flashing. I didn't even have to paint it as they paint matched and painted it all up for me.

While I hope to never replace my roof again, I know who I'd turn to if I did. Thanks Kris and Linear Roofing!

I have lived in Florida for over fifty years and never needed to use my house insurance. Hurricane Milton changed all of that. I was at a total loss on how to navigate through the insurance and repairs that would be necessary. My roof had been impacted by fallen trees creating multiple holes & structural damage, with shingles blown off!
I was very fortunate to find a gentleman by the name of Zachary Walen of Linear Roofing Florida. He was very patient with me & was my guide through all the hurdles. He helped me dot the i’s and cross the T’s in order to navigate through an unfamiliar Path that I have never been on. A perfect gentleman who gained my trust. The most important aspect of this project that Amildo Briceno, project manager, and his team was fantastic. The roof was completed within the day in the middle of the afternoon. The quality of service was excellent regarding the construction and safety. The few recommendations I would give is to have the roofers not smoke any tobacco products while up on the roof as to not leave cigarette butts around the property, ensure the home owner that any camera security systems will be under consideration while working on the property, and stay golden.

We love our new roof. I want to thank Tommy for making everything go as smoothly as possible. The roofing team did an excellent job and insured everything was clean and back in order before leaving.

We had multiple companies check our roof and say we only had a 25% chance to get it covered by insurance. Andrew Page worked with us and totally went above and beyond. He even showed for the insurance inspection. It was approved after only one inspection and everything was quick and smooth. He was super flexible with our schedule as well!

I worked with Johnny Dunlop directly and by far was the most informative man I’ve ever met in the roofing industry. I highly recommend speaking with him . He’s quick to respond to text, calls and emails. Sent me all answers I was needing to know about, met with my adjuster and made sure all things that were damaged were being addressed. My roof had a vent that was not properly installed and Jorge was amazing to work with to get it resolved. The day I got in touch with him he sent a team out to remedy the issue within hours. Great service and quick response that ensures the quality of their past projects.

Brenden M. Was amazing. From start to finish he was there to help and answer any questions my wife and I had. He was very patient through the whole process especially when we were trying to decide what color roof tiles we wanted. I’ve used Linear Roofing for one of my properties and now my personal home, and both times have been a breeze. They are communicative, efficient, and helped me work through my insurance with minimal effort from me. I will continue to use them for my properties and sleep well at night knowing they do a fantastic job. Even their cleaning process if the most efficient I’ve ever experienced.

Very pleased with everyone involved and my new roof! Brittani was great and ensured I understood everything as well as making sure my insurance covered what they should. This company it’s in an agreement with Kin insurance representative which they made you go with their preferred contractor from out state and charge more than a local contractor.

Also they send a lot of guys with no papers to do the job. They are from Texas and basically there’s not warranty of the job from a local company in FL.

Site Supervisor Avery Rodriguez is a True Professional. My communication with Linear Roofing & General Contractors LLC was outstanding. Starting on the 28th of February, we were in contact daily. I could call him at any time and get answers to many questions since this was my 1st Roof Replacement. He went into detail about what to expect and the time that it would take to complete the job. He regularly updated with Progress Photos as well. I have recommended two of my Neighbors due to his Professionalism and Great Customer Service. Thanks Avery

Very happy with Denzel Moore and the Linear Roofing Texas team (Addison, TX). They did an incredible job replacing our worn out old roof with a beautiful new Class 4 Nordic shingle system, Solar attic exhaust fans and new 6” seamless gutters at an impressively affordable price.
These folks listen to their customers and deliver on their promises every step of the way, from initial inspection, in-home consultation (Denzel and Shah), to installation day and final walkthrough.
I’ve never seen a roof go up so quickly nor a team of 13 people work so efficiently together to replace a roof (in 4.5 hrs). Denzel, our Project Manager, was there overseeing the progress so we had little to be concerned about. As promised, the team took measures to protect our windows, plants, HVAC compressor, etc. from falling material during the process. End result is we couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work, attention to detail and beautiful roof, quiet vents and attractive new gutters now protecting our home.

I had a young 22 year old come out and said my roof had a lot of damage and that there were shingles in my front yard from my roof. He looked at my attic which looked like it might have water from the rain.

I noticed a cap in the yard and he stated it wasn’t part the roof…. I told him I had a meeting on Thursday March 13 at 9 am and at 9:01 am he texted me and said he was running late.

The insurance adjuster said the shingles in front yard was from my neighbors, roof looked the best in the neighborhood and the cap was for my house and was the reason why I had water in the attic.

So he’s a typical young person not knowing what they are doing plus they feel everyone should work around their schedule. Linear needs to do a better job of training their employees!!! I would recommend people think twice about working with Linear!!!

The whole process with Linear was 5 star. The representatives that I worked with, Felix, Josh and Branden were all very knowledgeable helpful and authentic. They walked me thru the process. I would recommend them to anyone. The work was done in one day and they cleaned up everything. They didn't even get any debris in my pool!
They also follow up to make sure I am pleased. Thank you to all. My new roof and gutters look outstanding.
