Excellent service by the team. They ran into some challenges with my house being older and having been remodeled with some “interesting” design decisions, however they solved all of them and successfully installed the liner.
They answered all of my questions as they worked and cleaned everything up when they were completed.

Our recent experience with Lindemann Chimney Heating & Cooling could not have been more favorable. Due to an on-going and rather complex issue with the chimney at the rear of our Mount Prospect home, we contacted Lindemann for the job. Lindemann’s service technician, Mark Zurawski performed outstanding work on our home’s chimney and solved our problem. What we like most about Lindemann is that this is a company that truly stands by their work. Lindemann is fortunate to have Mark on their team!

Stephen R. was the technician that serviced my A/C unit and he did a great job. He was very thorough, informative, and he patiently answered all my questions. I would be very happy to have him out for future appointments.

Replaced rusted galvanized chase top and chimney cap with stainless steel fabrications. Juan Lopez did the initial measurements and proposal along with a full safety inspection. Fabricated chase top was well made and installed in a timely fashion. Would recommend Lindemann for any future chimney repairs.

April 22 2025 team Derek and Rocky assigned to fix a problem recently caused by another local chimney company. Derek is young and quite seasoned with a tenure of expertise. Very professional, careful, clean, knowledgeable, patient, respectful of my property and empathetic about the problem. Went above and beyond, including addressing a complex issue, much to my surprise. Even sent me pictures of final work effort. Highly recommend Lindemann from pre-sale through resolution and billing. And great follow-up. Would even do an advertisement or commercial out of gratitude. Great result, particularly for the price. Top drawer.

We are extremely pleased with Lindemann! From the moment we met with Erich Braun, who inspired us with confidence when he arrived at our house following a frightening incident when our home quickly filled with smoke after lighting the fireplace. Erich inspected the fireplace, assessed the issues, and offered viable options. Two weeks after that initial meeting, Erich's team of four--Benny, James, Francisco, and Rocky arrived to repair our damaged chimney. A major job, 8-hours later the work was completed. The men worked efficiently with quality workmanship, and painstakingly made certain to protect the entire area in which they were working. When they finished, the house was immaculate. All four of them were extremely polite and thoughtful, going out of their way to explain the procedure step-by-step.

The quote process was easy and the gentleman who did the installation was absolutely amazing. It was quick, quiet, and he cleaned up after!

Lindeman did a great job cleaning the muck and lining a chimney in a house we bought that had not been serviced perhaps in the 50 years since it was built. First time seeing human legs dropping to the fireplace except in Christmas fantasies. Then installed a remote controlled gas fireplace that works great. Not cheap, but with temps hovering near zero, well worth it.

Not happy at all, Returned product and they had it now for 16 days and still no refund. When I called about it was told they have about a 1000 returns in the back to be checked in. I was told they would call me back no word yet . Still waiting on my money to be refunded. I went a head and purchase the correct item and paid for it also.

We moved into a new home with a gas fireplace that was missing the gas log set. Got a mailer from Lindemann for a free inspection and booked with them. The inspector came out and told us our chimney was in good shape and just needed a new gas log. Lindemann even price matched a competitor and during their busy season squeezed us in so our fireplace would be up and running before the holiday, thank you Lindemann!

Had my fireplace cleaned and inspected by Austin. I never had a fireplace before he was very informative and professional advising me on the proper and safe procedure of using my fireplace. Lindemann will be back next year.

I had 24 layers chimney that needed to be replaced. Lindemann Chimney did an excellent job. The bricks matched, they cleaned up very well, and did the job on time.

Wow! These guys are fantastic. They refaced my fireplace. It was rusted out and now it looks brand new! They sanded off the rust and repainted. Cost about 1/3 of what another company quoted me. Ian and Eric were both professional and competent. Would recommend highly.

I had a serious problem with my old electric fireplace and wasted 3 months with another vendor.
Jim came, assessed the situation, sent me a bid within 2 weeks. He installed a replacement which works beautifully. He is an outstanding representative for the Lindemann firm - knowledgeable, efficient, caring, systematic and organized.

Austin set up to clean chimney, cleaned , vacuumed showed cleaned chimney on laptop, then went on roof to inspect chimney. Excellent performance, very courteous and personable. Answered all questions.

Can't say enough good things about this company. I am getting ready to sell my house but the gas fireplace was not operational. I really wanted to repair it but the cost benefit and the time to do it was making it less likely an option. I almost canceled my appointment with Lindemann after receiving two other quotes but I'm glad I didn't. They offered the best option, a damper-vented gas log insert that was less expensive than any other option I looked into previously. I liked being able to still vent the fireplace through the chimney. I was still on the fence about doing the work since I'm listing the house in a week but decided if they could come out a few days before listing then I'd do it. I called and spoke with Beata who worked with the team (Shaun and Jacob) to rearrange their schedule and they came out the next day! I'm so glad I have at least some time to enjoy my amazing new fireplace.

They arrived ahead of schedule and completed to job with no trace left behind. Shaun explained everything very clearly before leaving. I am so happy I went ahead with this. Excellent experience! Raphael does absolutely beautiful masonry & Brian does beautiful carpentry they make the perfect team to reface a fireplace. They are kind, skilled and professional. They also clean up nicely each day and have sealed room in plastic so dust does not spread. I’m very grateful for the wonderful work they have done.

I called Lindemann when the company the previous owner used said “our systems are down and we can’t schedule anything until Monday”. This was a Tuesday. Beatta was so kind and helpful troubleshooting with me. I did need a service call to get the fireplace igniter going and Beatta was able to schedule it very quickly so I could turn on my fireplace for my open house. Nick came and got it going as well as rearranged the logs to make a prettier flame. He was very knowledgeable and professional - and nice. It’s Lindemann all the way for me from now on!

I highly recommend Lindemann Chimney! Nick was great when he came out to inspect my chimney. He was very honest and thorough and let me know what he was doing the whole time. He showed me the pictures of what he found and explained what needed to be done. Since I live in a townhouse, I went through the paperwork process to get approval to get the work done. I then had Lindemann start the process to replace the chase top. My HOA had just had the roof replaced on our townhouses as well as the chase tops on the chimneys which they did not tell me about. As soon as I found out that the chase tops were already being replaced by my HOA, I called Lindemann and talked to Paula. I was pretty distraught as I put a pretty good deposit down. Paula was extremely empathetic and assured me that she would call back with a resolution. She did and let me know that they had refunded my entire deposit! Needless to say, I was very relieved and grateful. I highly recommend Lindemann Chimney!

Eric Anderson inspected our fireplace and chimney. He was on time and very thorough. He confirmed that we had a break in our flue lining, showed us pictures of the problem and explained the issue in detail. I would definitely recommend Lindemann Chimney services.

Our Bryant Evolution thermostat sent us a few error codes in January. I think they were caused by snow sliding off the roof onto the heat pump outdoor coil, blocking its fan, but I asked Lindemann to come check it out, and try to avoid a critical failure during bad future weather. We have an annual service contract with them, and I was glad that they scheduled a service visit on the same day. Brett checked the furnace and outside coil, and made sure that both the gas furnace or electric heat pump warmed the house, and he agreed that sliding snow might have been at fault. He said there would be no charge for the visit and to call again if I get any more error emails. I have more peace of mind now.

My carbon monoxide detector had been going off. Called Lindemann. Two hours later a technician was at my house. Very prompt and professional.

Eric (service tech) provided me with a detailed inspection report and went over what it would take to covert my gas fireplace to a wood burning fireplace. He took his time and throughly inspected the firebox, chimney, and roof cap. He then sent me detailed quotes for what was needed to complete said conversion.

Good customer service and great work. We’ve used them twice - once for our chimney cap and once for a chimney inspection and both went great.

Our rep, Rob, was knowledgeable, on time, of good humor and thorough. We especially appreciated his honesty re. the frequency of inspections for our 3-4 year old gas insert system.

I've used Lindemann for several years after being disappointed with my other furnace company. Lindemann's technicians are pleasant and even more importantly very knowledgeable. My heat went out Monday night, I called them at 9am Tuesday morning and they were here by noon. A half hour later the technician identified and corrected the problem. He explained the problem to me, actually showing me the failed part. I definitely will continue to be a customer of theirs.
