From day 1 I met these people, they started to work immediately and never stopped til the work was completely and totally completed correctly then came back and made.sure each and every nook and crannies were corrected. I love their work and ALWAYS refer them to anyone that asks me about my kitchen. I am totally satisfied from top to bottom and side to side in every angle. It was 9/11/2024 and my phone rang right before midnight. It was my mother on the line, telling me that a tree had fallen on her home (located in Louisiana). She was shaken but grateful that no one was hurt. The tree fell a few feet from my sister.
After hanging up the phone with my mom, my nerves were shot. My family and I experienced property damage a couple of years ago in Denton, Texas. It was a nightmare I didn't want to relive the exhausting and devasting hardship we endured.
From the moment I got the call from Larry Wilkie of Lightspeed Restoration in the early morning, things went from bad to AWE-INSPIRING! He assured me that he & his crew will take good care of my mom & her home.

Lightspeed Restoration started the cleanup process early on 9/12. I received a call from my mom to tell me that everything was going well. Although she was saddened by the event, she felt blessed for having caring people helping to fix her home.

From the time Larry’s team started to the time they completed the restoration of my mom’s home; they demonstrated
professionalism & empathy. They made my mom feel that she was their only customer and priority. Not only was I impressed with the team’s work ethic, but they included me in every step of the way. Any time I had a question or concerns, there was always someone who got back to me in a timely manner.

On another note, they were able to provide many details and pictures to help with our homeowner claim. Whenever my adjuster needed anything, Lightspeed provided it immediately. I must add that we were very blessed with having an amazing claim adjuster too.

Although the Southeast of the U.S. was struck by two devastating hurricanes after Hurricane Francine and Lightspeed Restoration was reduced to a “skeleton crew” my mother’s home was restored and completed three weeks prior to the estimated deadline. The home looks amazing! Lightspeed Restoration not only removed and cleaned all the damage from the hurricane. They renovated all the home’s flooring, roofing, kitchen cabinets, laundry room & shelving, front & back porch, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
My mother got a beautiful new home, and our family has also been extended to include the Lightspeed Restoration Team.

My home has flood twice, once in 2017 during hurricane Irma and now currently in 2024 during Milton. In 2017 I used a well known company and my experience was fine, it was my first time needing the service so nothing to compare to. Last month I used Lightspeed and it was a night and day difference in service. They team was so amazing, far more thorough, removed areas of possible mold that was not completed in the 2017 mitigation process. The house smelled amazing. They are a great group of people who have created a great team. Highly recommend!!!

They removed everything damaged by the storm, from furniture and drywall to flooring and my entire kitchen. They thoroughly cleaned and dried every part of my house, taking professional logs to ensure it was all done right. They even went above and beyond to assist me with the insurance claim afterward, making a difficult process easier to navigate.

Very professional, honest, and knowledgeable. The response was immediate which keep our damages to a minimum. They are the ones you need to call if you have an emergency.

Light Speed, owner and employees, that came by my house were thorough, and walked me through every step of the process as we went. I had a lot of water damage and they quicky came in, measured, monitored, dried, and sprayed everything down to prevent any more mold from developing.

The owner was more than happy to talk to my insurance and regularly updated me when they had conversions. This absolutely helped to lighten the burden to my household.

All around great service. As bad as the experience of having water damage in my house was, my experience with Light Speed so far has been amazing. If I ever, heavens forbid, require water damage remediation again, I will absolutely request their services.

Larry and the rest of the Light Speed krewe were at my house for a water intrusion problem even quicker than I hoped, helped get the problem under control, coordinated labor to remove damaged flooring, and has continued to help with finding contractors to fix the issues. All for very reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend this group if you're unlucky enough to need them!

I called Light Speed to locate an issue with a leak associated with an adjacent unit in a condo. Light Speed showed up quickly and immediately began inspecting my unit and confirmed moisture still existed from a leak. Light Speed then took the affirmative step to inspect the unit of the adjacent unit to further investigate. 5 stars because of quick/prompt service and going above and beyond to locate the source of the leak.
