Eight years ago I contacted Lester Buildings and had them design a building. Jessie Lucking and his crew assembled the building and did all the finishing inside and out. I was very pleased with their work. Jessie did quality work and did so in a timely manner. I just had a second Lester building completed in 2024 and requested to have Jessie and his crew for that building also and once again he did not disappoint.
I would highly recommend Jessie and Lester Buildings to anyone looking and would definitely use them again for my next project.

BUYER BEWARE. There's nothing like have water coming through the roof of your dream home that was only constructed a few years ago. The foam baffles under the ridge cap as sliding down and off the roof, leaving it completely permeable to elements and pests. I notified rep that built it, the regional manager, and corporate of the discovery of injury. Instead of sending someone to look at it, they sent a letter saying there isn't a Lester rep servicing my area? If anyone else has had water problems with their eclipse roofing system, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Having an extremely difficult time with paint fading and warranty. Came out and tested, said it had faded too much but then later called and said they had to retest because the numbers didn’t make since. Said they were coming out and didn’t, now can’t get any answers when I call. Extremely disappointed in their customer service. And this has been over 5 months. Seems like typical garbage from a company that charges premium.

I would never recommend Lester bldgs. I was sent a contractor who doesn't know what he's doing, never shows up andhas excuses excuses. Was told it would take 4 weeks and is now 4 months. I was told I would be in my place by Dec and don't even have the walls up or roof up, but they have their money so I'm am screwed, plus Lester bldgs is no help or do not stand behind their product. I just hope someday it will get finished since I've paid for it. Maybe Lester should send me a different builder to finish this project since the contractor assigned to me can't seem to get it together. I have called Lester 3 times with no help at all. I would not ever reccomend. I feel like I've been used horribly with Lester not being responsible.

I am 68 years old. I sold the business I started, bought 70 acres, had KA Witt Construction build me a house and had Lester build my pole barn. Owning and running a farm has been a life long goal of mine.

Both builders have been excellent. My sales rep for Lesters was Jennifer Wight. She was knowledgeable , thorough and extremely patient. She led me without being heavy handed.

The build team, led by Brad were incredible. They always had a smile for me and treated me as if I was their most important customer.

The whole Lester team was top notch. The project came in on time, on budget and with a happy owner. If I build more pole barns Lester Buildings will be my first call.

I had the roof replaced on an old pole barn last year, due to excessive leaks. I contacted my sales rep in October 2021 about leaks in the new roof and as of today, I still have 5 separate leaks in my roof, and no one has come to look at it. I still have not received any warranty information from Lester after contacting my sales rep multiple times.

I have to update my review as we have come to a complete standstill with no action on Lester Building Systems part. As we have gotten involved in verifying the status of our final components we have learned that no delivery or install date has been established. Speaking with the vendor and installer, they have had no communication with Lester Building Systems. Unfortunately we have no fallback option as we have paid for the 40 garage doors and installation.
The staff is unable to resolve coordination issues. There is a significant effort to secure the building deposit and then the folks seem to fade away with no responsibility. Caution should be exercised when selecting this firm. We are losing money on the operations side.

I purchased a Lester building and a couple years later had a second one built. The team was very professional; they designed a loft over part of the floor in the first building for storage. I really like the drip-stop ceiling. I use them to store hay and condensation dripping off the ceiling in the winter can cause hay to mold.

We tried three different timesReaching out to Them and their representative Joe bjelland simply would not respond. We even reached out to him directly and nothing. We informed lester of this and then they didn't respond. Must have plenty of work, if customer service is this poor before paying them I can only imagine how helpful they are once theres a contract

Numerous leaks in the roof. That's just on the unlined portion. I don't know how many may be on the end that is lined. There was water leaking through so I imagine the insult is soaked in spots. I do NOT see this as acceptable workmanship. Payed well for a new building not one that needs repairs from day one. I deserve a response from corporate not the dealer who wants to continue to patch a new building.

Who knows if the building is any good when the builders won’t even show up to make the building you pay dearly for. Started a month late. Now in two months we have seen them 5 days. This was a disaster decision. Be careful. They don’t bet their builders apparently.

We were very happy with our Lester Building. We were awarded the 2005 Award of Excellence. Our building is beautiful. The issue we have is the fade on our roof. We hired a roof cleaner and after an hour they were able to clean a 4x4 section. The person we hired told us that he would do more damage and it would look worse if he proceeded. Our roof cleaner did use the product and process recommend to us by Lester. Lester then sent one of their employees out to test for fade. The Lester employee cleaned small spots then tested for fade. The tests came back as acceptable fade levels. So we now have a roof with small spots that they cleaned and the rest is still very faded with no acceptable answers. The back side of the building is shaded and has no roof fade. We are unsatisfied with Lester's warranty.

My husband and I bought a mini-farm lot in 2016 and built a house on the front acre. Then this year we decided to construct a pole building. The process of interviewing pole building construction companies was daunting, to say the least. Having no knowledge to begin with as to how they are normally constructed and best practices, etc. we relied heavily on online reviews --- which, can be down-right frightening. Based on a few of the major competitor's reviews, at one point we even thought maybe we should just avoid a pole building and build a giant garage instead. Unfortunately, and understandably, most online reviews will be negative by nature. Most people who feel they have gotten a raw deal will, simply by virtue of human nature, will only speak up when they have a complaint. That being considered, we forged ahead and did as much of our own research as we could while interviewing sales reps from four of the major players in the pole building industry here in SE Wisconsin. We chose Lester mainly because of the sales rep and his awesome efforts to answer each and every question that we came up with, as well as the fact that he treated us with complete respect. He never once made us feel like we were unreasonable or that his potential paycheck was most important to him. He showed genuine concern for our needs. The other major deciding factor as to why we chose Lester was because of their superior roof system, their framing system and post construction as well as the quality of their exterior wall panels. The quality of the building materials and building process were important to us because we wanted our building to be air and water tight!
To make a long story short ... the entire staff at Lester were super! Lester's staff exceeded our expectations: Brad (our sales rep), Sandra (our project manager), Bob and Martin (warehouse & delivery), and finally, and most importantly, Luke (and his whole construction crew) - We are so glad that we chose Lester Buildings to construct our pole building --- we thank everyone at Lester Buildings and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a pole building!

Worked here for 3 summers. Fun people to work with. Hard labor work, but fairly easy going. Quality is good but sometimes overlooked. Wouldn't mind working here long term if they paid better. They probably pay less than their competition, but they are also more laid back than other places (so I've heard).

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
