Jeff and his team at Laurel Home Improvements did an awesome job replacing our roof. Jeff and his team were super knowledgeable and walked us through everything, answering all our questions and making sure we understood the whole process. He and his crew were really friendly, professional, and got everything done quickly. The quality of their work was great, and the price was really fair too. I definitely recommend Jeff and his team if you need any roofing work — they made this project feel easy!

Jeff was excellent and very easy to work with. The roofing team was in and out in a single day and did great work! Jeff even did a couple of other jobs around our older home to get it into better shape for us to move in. They worked with us on a rather tight schedule and were flexible with what we needed done and when. Highly recommend LHI for your roofing and other home improvement needs!

Jeff was a joy to work with! Very responsive from the moment we contacted him for an assessment of our roof. He gave us his honest opinion of what was wrong with our vents and did not upsell or scare us into thinking we needed a whole new roof (like comission-based salespeople from other companies did).

Had 3 quotes for replacing all the siding on our house plus replacing 2 large decks and a smaller porch. Dave's quote was the best price and he also offered several good suggestions which made the final results just what I had hoped for. The entire process took just over 2 weeks and it was a pleasure to work with Dave and his sons Jeff and Austin. Would recommend them for any siding and decking work you are planning.

New to the area, I called 6 roofers for quotes. Only 3 of them called me back. One of them told me they were busy and they didn't need my business. Dave was fantastic to work with from the start. Returned my phone calls, answered my questions, and generally seemed interested in getting my business. He gave me a fair price and that price was what I paid at the end. He used high quality materials and we talked at length, because we were coming from a different climate, on why those materials were the best for the job. The crew worked efficiently and had a lot of pride in their workmanship. I worried about nails being left on the drive/walk ways puncturing vehicle tires, etc, but this company had a dedicated person to cleaning these up and she was good! They also rolled a magnetic drum to clean them up. It was pretty impressive! Dave helped me solve a venting issue. The bathrooms were being vented through the attic. He helped me reroute them during the reroofing process to save me work down the line. I was really impressed and our roof looks great!

Laurel Home Improvements did a great job replacing our roof! They use quality supplies, and were able to do the job quickly in two days. Dave was great at answering any questions we had, and gave us a very fair estimate! We would definitely use them again for future home improvements!

Recently we had the roof replaced on our house. Dave was professional and great to communicate with. The crew did a great job even with the clean up after. We will highly recommend this business.

I have a very large, complex roof and after speaking with about 7 roofing companies, I chose LHI mainly because the owner (not a salesperson) came to look at the project and discuss it with me. That was about the last time I saw him. He assured me his crews could talk through any questions or issues I had. None of them spoke English. They only smile and nod every time I tried to talk to them. They tore off the entire roof instead of only what could be put back in a day. Of course it rained twice and I had multiple leaks to deal with in my attic. The roofers left a pneumatic nail gun on the roof after finishing one day and it fell off in the middle of the night and damaged two composite deck boards that I had just installed only weeks before. They also damaged multiple lightning rods on my roof during their rush to remove the shingles. The crew tore shingles off two small detached buildings that were not in scope for the project so clearly there are communication issues between owner and crews. I was not charged for the extra buildings, but it did delay the project because there was then not enough material to finish the main house. I still have multiple places on one side of the roof where there are wrinkles in the shingles that never flattened out and looks bad. Two gutters were damaged. After final payment I contacted Dave several times about the lightning rods. He said they were getting them and would come back and replace them. He also said they would stop by to fix the gutters. Neither ever happened. My roof doesn't leak, but overall I'm not satisfied with the project.

Laurel replaced our roof after hail damage. Their quote was exactly what insurance estimated. They used quality materials and installation was in accordance with the shingle manufacturer's specifications. The crew was very fast and were conscientious about being tidy. Materials were delivered only a day or 2 in advance (some neighbors had pallets of shingles in their drive way for weeks. I recommend Laurel without reservation.

I was very satisfied with their work, from the fist moment to the end of the service. They were on time, very professional, good communication. The price was good. I recommend this company with all my heart.

Dave is very responsive and was able to put a roof on our new home in November! Other contractors we had give us a quote were unreliable and unresponsive. The workers showed up on time and worked diligently. They cleaned up every scrap and had the roof completed in two days. Highly recommend!

When another roofer failed to follow through after 3 months, Laurel Home Improvements came through for us. Dave Carter came out over the 4th of July weekend, got us contracts on the following Tuesday the 5th, started work on the 11th and finished on the 12th despite a downpour mid-afternoon. They stayed and completed the work, and it looks great.

They cleaned up all the debris around the house and left things as when they arrived.

Dave Carter was great to deal with, and I recommend them highly!

Had roofing and siding done. Dave and his crews were a joy to work with - no dramas, and great communication. Job got underway about a month after I first contacted them, and most of that time was waiting on the bank. Quality materials, and professional, experienced crews. They were great about cleaning up after they finished their work. The house looks great and the neighbors agree.

Our roof was replaced a couple weeks ago, and the job was concluded in one day. The crew was very professional and did a thorough clean up job afterward. We would definitely call them again.

Just had a roof replacement completed by Laurel Home Improvements and had a great experience. Best price out of three contractors that bid on our project, not only that, but just the most straightforward. We didn't feel like we were being "sold" to or taken advantage of, based on our inexperience with roofing, and just got straightforward information without a high pressure approach. Jeff and Dave were wonderful to work with and answered any and all questions quickly and with a smile. They were timely in their communications, showed up on time, and completed the work as outlined. Our roof was on in a day (despite some iffy weather at the beginning) and the crew was friendly, hard-working, and did a good job cleaning up afterward. They do other work besides roofing and I will definitely reach out again when we are ready to explore other projects.

Laurel did a complete makeover of the exterior of our house. It was an average looking ranch house with old stained/cracked stucco. The owner and his son came out to give us an estimate and immediately I knew they were gonna be the contractors for us. They were incredibly knowledgeable but made everything very easy to understand and explained the whole process. Even dealing with the pandemic they made us feel like our project was important to them and that we were a priority. They listened to everything we had to say and what we wanted and then went above and beyond to make us happy. To look at our house now and to see what it was before is truly amazing the transformation that they did to our home. They have made our house exactly what we wanted to look like and made us proud of our home. Anything we ever need done in the future will absolutely be done by Laurel. It’s nice to know that there are still reputable companies out there that tell you something and you know that you can trust them to do what they say they will, Laurel is ABSOLUTELY one of those companies and I would vouch for their work or sing their praises to anyone.

A few years ago, we decided to enlarge our house rather than move. We described what we wanted and Dave Carter and his team at Laurel Home Improvements took it from there. They added 1500 sq ft onto our house with such skill that you cannot tell where the old part of the house ends and the new part of the house begins. We got exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price!

Last summer, we asked Dave and his crew to return to our house to install a roof on the new back deck that they constructed during our major addition project. We could not be happier with the result! We are now able to use our back deck during most of the year.

When I had a change of mind in the shingles he had no problems taking them back and getting the shingles that I liked for a very reasonable fee. Hired Dave at Laurel Home Improvements to side, soffit, and put fascia on two houses. I got multiple quotes and theirs was reasonable and fair. Dave was thoughtful about our old houses and the best way to do things. He was on target with timeline and when we got delayed by all the rain in the fall, my houses were at the top of his list in the spring. I would recommend Laurel Home Improvement. They did a nice job.

Dave and his crew had completed other jobs for me in the past with the same level of satisfaction. When Dave gives an estimate, that is the final price of the job. He schedules to have the repair done in a very short amount of time after he gives the estimate. Dave and his crew did many extra things besides the roof repair and would not take a penny more than his estimate. Dave and Jeff are patient and always listens to the customer. LHI does a complete and thorough job in very little time as they work the whole time they are on site. They always clean up and haul away any debris. Only top of the line materials are used and the finish work is great!

I have hired Laurel Home Improvement’s on different occasions to install new roofs on 3 of our rental houses. I have been very satisfied with the work done. Also, the fact that when they start the job they work hard to complete it and don’t drag it out like some contractors. They totally clean up after the job is completed which has been a problem with other contractors I hired in the past.

I got several estimates from various contractors and Laurel’s prices were well below the competitors, but his quality of work went above and beyond the price he set. Terrible company. I called this guy in early November to see if he could give me an estimate, I had 2 jobs that needed to be done. The first time I called he told me he would have to call me back since he was driving. That is a fair enough reason to call someone back, however he did not call me back. I waited a week and called him again, and he again told me he would have to call me back because he was driving. To his credit he did actually call me back that time, and we scheduled a time for him to come take a look at what needed done. He told me I should hear back from him in a few days with the estimates, and I never heard a single thing. I waited about a month and finally called him back. He said he thought he had given me the estimate and would have to call me back. I still haven't heard anything back from this guy. Do not waste your time with him.
