I wanted to give them a 5 star because they went above and beyond to help me and my wife a vehicle on the worst day you could buy one. First there was was only Mr. Larry and Mr. Bruce there because of bad weather coming in. They were more concerned about safty than car sales but Saturday march 15 2025 was the only day wife and me had off together. We had looked all over the state for a particular interior on an Acadia and found it at Larry Clark GMC. They were 3 hours away from our location. We called the dealership and spoke with Michael. He answered every question we had, he sent every email the bank requested, he helped us get the price we wanted and was timely and courteous. He made everything so easy for us. We made the drive up to Amory and found the car exactly as described, washed, fueled, and ready. Michael not only had our paperwork ready before we arrived, he got in the car with me, paired my devices, explained every detail of my new car. The folks at Larry Clark are very nice, but when you get home and find a missing lug nut, you start to lose trust in their service department. I brought my 2024 Sierra 3500 in for an oil change, tire rotation, software update, etc and one week later, I’m finding a lug nut in my driveway (luckily not anywhere else). I checked every single one of the 32 lug nuts for proper 140 lb-ft torque and only ONE lug nut was torque’d correctly. Unbelievable. I have no idea what they’re using to fasten the lug nuts back onto vehicles, but it’s certainly not a torque wrench. I’m about to do a long road trip and frequently tow trailers. Had I not torqued all my own lug nuts, would a wheel have come off? Should I go check my oil filter as well? This is a $95,000+ truck and to miss such an important detail like this is absurd.

I bought a brand new truck today at Larry Clark Chevrolet. The level of service I experienced today is worth more than a 5-star rating. They went so far above 5-star service that I actually feel guilty I can only give them 5 stars! I am extremely happy with the truck as well. I have wanted a truck for a while now, ever since my dad got his first new car from here in 2003. Every couple of months, when I took one of my cars to Larry Clark for an oil change, I would spend the whole time with Robert Jones. He would ask me how I was doing and even inquire about my dad. He showed me cars every time I came in, and we went on many test drives before I found the one! It has been a childhood dream to buy a new truck ever since my dad got one. I have been looking for a discontinued part for a 2011 Camaro convertible everywhere with no luck . An employee from here gave me a list of dealerships around the country that showed they still had them in stock . No other dealership even mentioned they could see this part in stock at other dealerships until Larry clark Chevrolet called me and gave me this information . I contacted every single dealership on the list and was told over and over we have the parts but they are spoken for . About four days later one of the dealerships called to tell me they had the part for $8 . I bought two and had them shipped to me for a total of $20.68 . If this dealership had not gone the extra steps i would still be searching . I have never been to Larry Clark Chevrolet but the service and parts department employees are great people . This place is thee worst place to buy a vehicle. I was promised a vehicle by a salesman via phone calls, text messages, and got a bank loan for the vehicle. Before I was to arrive, a salesman sold the truck out from under me. The only reason I found out of it being sold was due to I asked for a car fax report at 530 in the evening. It’s the principle here, not that they sold the truck to another person, but the dishonesty to a veteran, also to a family that has purchased vehicles from this dealership before. If the dishonesty comes from one salesman, then think of all the buyers that get sold a promise that is broken by dishonesty. If this is how the business is ran, then my hard earning money will never be spent at this location. I will advocate for those who don’t have a voice and let God to take care of this salesman and team.

Barrett Clark at Clark Chevrolet through his generosity provided the loaner pick-up for our use for the leadership team while we were there. Service department deserves zero stars. Sales department is great but keep in mind the quality of the service department when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. They misdiagnosed the check engine light on my wife’s 2021 Yukon, which cost almost $1000 out of pocket to fix something that wasn’t even the cause. My GMC Sierra has been needing a new transmission, but they try to replace everything except what actually needs replacing. After they replaced the torque converter, my truck has serious issues and feels as if I’m being rear ended every time I go to stop when it downshifts from 2nd to 1st gear. They avoid my phone calls and refuse to acknowledge my concerns that my truck is not fixed. We have now filed a complaint with GM customer care about this service department. I just wish they could be honest, acknowledge my truck is worse than before, and accept the fact the transmission should’ve been replaced to begin with. With an extended warranty, the customer should come first over their pride!
