Don’t believe when they say open til 6, If you show at 5:58 door may be locked and they’ll turn you away even if you know exactly what you want.

I've spent tens of thousands with them if not more, and most often the materials are incorrect, misplaced, late, or otherwise causing my project to be delayed which has added to my overall project cost and time.

My family is beyond grateful for the help we received at this location. While on vacation my father unfortunately ran over a very necessary wooden stool he uses to get in and out of our truck. Now this was no ordinary stool... it has been in our family since the early eighties. My moms dad made it for her grandmother and it has been since used by many family members since. I brought the stool which at this point looked like an elephant had sat on it into the store. A very nice gentleman by the name of Brett came to greet my mom and I. As I showed him the stool and began to explain the story, Brett took the stool and asked when would you like it done by. My mom smiles and replies, like now. Brett put the stool behind his back and said bippity, boppity, boop. We all had a good laugh and said he can have in ready in about twenty minutes. When we returned Brett had an amazing surprise, not only had he repaired the stool he had added bracing on the inside joint and reinforced gold screws, and did it out of the kindness of his heart. Thank you so much to Brett and the True Value crew for all of your help. It’s people and moments like this that need to be shared and remembered.

Great and very helpful staff. Would be a 5-star review but not open Sundays and smaller size limits selection (95% of what you need).

These men and women are knowledgeable, friendly and have always been helpful, even when I need to adjust my original draft.

Sometimes I simply enjoy touring through for serendipitous ideas for more preferable planning of my next project as well. :)

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
