Laing Roofing

lost more than $25k with these guys. won't return calls nor give us what we paid for.

OK. I'll refresh things for you. We changed builders after we paid a deposit for our roof. The builder was mature enough to instruct you not to speak to us or do any further work on our project. We made numerous calls and not one was returned. This was in the fall of 2022.

After a repair on the 44 year old tar and gravel roof on our apartment building failed after 5 years, our Strata went with Laing Roofing for a new roof who gave them the cheapest bid. Yesterday on Wednesday Jan 29th I found out from the strata Council vice president that they aren't impressed with Laing Roofing who lied about the Nov 30th estimated finish date. The strata Council President lives on the first floor right below me. It has been very loud for both her and I as someone at Laing Roofing put the scaffolding and drop chiteright beside her 1st floor condo and my second floor condo. The past week they have been working above us with very loud tools at 7:30 am. I have very sensitive hearing. Now the estimated date they are working to finish is next Wednesday (Feb 5th). We were told due to cold snap and workers unavailable they took a month off of the roof replacement for our condo complex. What if that date was a lie again. That date is 9 weeks past the original estimated finish date.

Extremely unprofessional - do not follow quiet hours and they have been installing a new roof on a building for 7+ weeks and they bring their trucks in before 6 am and start working at 6 am.

They are loud, rude and extremely unprofessional.

Also they take longer to replace a roof than any company I've ever seen in my life. DO NOT HIRE THESE crooks.
