We recently had a roof leak after a storm over the weekend, and contacted roof doctor via their online form. Howard called first thing Monday morning to give us a quote and schedule a service expert. Within 24 hours our roof was fixed. These guys are very knowledgeable, and the customer service was excellent. They even knocked $100 off the invoice as I had previously identified the source of the leak.

I had a very good experience with Roof Doctor. It started off as a small job for a skylight replacement which uncovered some more widespread issues for the roof. I didn't feel pushed into anything, and I had the info I needed to make a decision. The work looks well done, and I expect the repair and new roof to last a very long time.

I had Roof Doctor replace the roof on my place in Oyama. Dave assured me he would get there as soon as he could after I took possession and the crew was there in the first couple days and worked super fast and efficient and were finished in 1.5 days. They cleaned up after themselves and the quality of work was excellent. Then a few days later, I was surprised and impressed that a QC Inspector showed up to do a double check on everything - I had no doubts, but that was great reassurance. From start to finish, the whole process was simple and well executed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roof Doctor to anyone needing roofing services.

We required a cedar shake conversion on our house and wanted it completed very quickly and professionally as our house was listed for sale. Dave and his team were able to accommodate our timeline. The workers arrived on time on the scheduled day, along with the materials, trash bin and porta-potty allowing the crew to get straight to work as rain was forecasted for the afternoon. After having our roof done, our son's house had water leaking into the ceiling where two roof vents had been installed, BY A DIFFERENT CONTRACTOR. They had been improperly installed and this occurred during a few days of heavy rain so needed immediate attention. The best the other contractor could offer was for him to make a claim under his insurance.

When I discussed this with The Roof Doctor they advised they do repairs and sent someone that is very experienced with this type of work and the repairs were made within a few hours and there have been no further leaks. That was 11 months ago.

We have a nice home on Dilworth, that was built in 2003. We have had challenges with the original roof over the past 20 years, and several roofing companies have been unsuccessful in solving our issues, so we knew we had to replace the roof. We received 3 quotes for the replacement, and without question, the Roof Doctor provided the most detailed and comprehensive bid, and explained the different qualities of materials, the pricing models, and helped steer us in the right direction. The price was slightly higher than one quote and 2K lower than the third quote but offering much more of a roof. The Roof Doctor had been invited to bid on our home, because of a personal referral by someone who had personally used them multiple times on their properties, and friends of theirs had also done so, (I think 6 roofs in all were happily completed). The roofers sent to do the install were outstanding, prompt, professional, and continuously kept us up to date on the progress. Once the old shingles were removed, the roof revealed all it's problems, and several repairs had to be done before the new shingles were installed. We believe we have an outstanding roof that will last 30 years or more. The Roof Doctor continuously monitored the construction using a drone device, and we were provided with photos. One final note, I do not like anyone going on my roof without protection. Over the years we have had our gutters cleaned, and other work done, and no proper safety existed up there. The Roof Doctor installed 3 safety devices on different locations of our roof, and also provided a full harness and roping system, so that no matter what kind of service people we hire, they will be required to wear safety equipment on our roof, which gives us peace of mind. We would just like to thank the Roof Doctor for the awesome fast service and a job so well done. We bought a house with a leaking skylight that was to be fixed by the previous owner before we moved in - wrong - the skylight was replaced but not the flashing, therefore the first rain we got little over a week ago our skylight leaked. We called Roof Doctor and explained our crisis and they came within a couple of days and did a professional job. Because of the previous owner not being honest with us, Roof Doctor did give us a break on the pricing. Needless to say we truly appreciate the break and would recommend them in a heart beat. All in all, Roof Doctor was great. Be sure to check that your dryer vent connection is still intact once the new roof vent is installed. We luckily have a new dryer which gave us a FlowVent code alerting us there was an issue. We hired Okanagan Dryer Vent Cleaning to check our venting. He discovered the connection issue and repaired it. Roof Doctor was prompt to cover the cost of the inspection/repair.

I’ve known Travis personally and professionally for a number of years, and he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. We dealt with Travis who is friendlier than my daughters Guinea Pig, and his crew worked harder than a two year old Beaver building a dam in the late spring. The boys majestically scoured the roof like a mountain goat in the Himalayas, with work so precise it’s sure to impress any heart surgeon at KGH. If your worried about cost, DON’T. Compared to our other quotes they were cheaper than a slice of pizza at the Costco Cafeteria.

I have used Roof Doctor for years on various homes and I have always been very happy with their work. When the skylight in our current home failed, they came to the rescue again. Howard worked with me to find the best solution for the unusual fitting that needed to be done and the cost was very reasonable. The crew was fantastic. They were professional from the start. They took care of any concerns we had (which were few). The cleanup was so impressive, when they left, there was no evidence that they were even here, (except for the new roof).

The guys were efficient and accommodating. This job was actually replacement of original sand & gravel roof. The original roof gravel was cleaned off and spread on my driveway as it was useful to do that. The old mossy roof gravel was hauled away. While I was looking into several companies to replace the roof, I got a recommendation for Roof Doctor from my co-worker. I met Dave there and got a quote of the roof replacement, and he really took the time to get me a very detailed estimate.

We had shingles blow off of our roof while we were away for the winter. Called the Roof Dr to get shingles installed. They responded immediately and completed the job so our roof was protected .
Called again a year later for a vent to be installed on roof. The following day the serviceman was on our doorstep to complete the job.
Both times we called on the company they were professional, had excellent customer service and response time.
We will definitely call on them again when needed.

Dave, the salesman, was the most knowledgeable of the 3 companies who quoted. He had great ideas for improved venting which has been troublesome for us since the house was built 17 years ago. The workers arrived when they said they would, and stayed with our job daily until it was finished. Their roofer, Doc, did an excellent job. There was no loud music or interference with our daily living beyond the necessary roofing noise. All employees were polite and professional, and didn't mind all of our questions. They charged exactly what was quoted. Even though this company was a bit more expensive, we were happy to have them do the job because it's the fifth roof we've had done on houses and they were the best.

We had a roof vent blow off during an overnight wind and rain storm. Despite having many emergency calls that day, they came within 4 hours and fixed that one -- and found and fixed several other loose roof vents.

Overall we are very pleased with our new roof from the Roof Doctor! Ian, Sam & Mike were a professional crew. Good communication & hard workers. They obviously take pride in their work & attention to the small details. Also did a great job of cleaning up the site over the time that they were here. We have worked with lots of contractors over the years & they are definitely one of the best!

--Note: I never threatened with online reviews - Roof Doctor said NO WARRANTY so I did make a review and then they called me back. ------------ I asked Roof doctor to repair a leak I had discovered in my attic. They arrived about 10 days late, without calling. I had a ladder set-up to the attic. I asked them to come have a look at the leak but they said, “no they don’t need to.”.
Sometime later I decided to inspect the work to ensure there were no leaks. I noticed a considerable increase in the amount of mold in the attic. I called Howard at Roof Doctor and told him I had concerns. He said there no warranty on his work. I suggested I would pursue other actions and he hung-on me.

It was not until sometime later that I was physically able to get into the attic to get a better look at the source. Then I discovered that the hose connecting the en-suite bathroom which has a jetted tub to the roof vent was hanging down on one side. I called Roof Doctor again and after writing a bad BBB review and Google Review they agreed to send someone over.
The worker quickly saw the issue I was referring to. He apologized and said it has happened before. But…he also managed to take pictures that don’t show the issue that he was fixing. Instead they make it look as though the issue was the insulation hanging off the hose – and I have original pictures and a video from before.
Then the repairmen tells me to fix the problem – which I was originally complaining off I would need to add spacers to allow for airflow in the attic.
I am tired of being harassed by Roof Doctor – in particular Howard who accused me indirectly off being abusive to him or his staff.
Initially I gave Roof Doctor 1 star because there were issues and they refuse to address them. I change the review to a 4 after Mike came and fixed the issue, which he admitted happened before. I change it back to a 1 after I discovered that you, not only failed to accept responsibility but suggested that it was not your fault. It was!!! I will send you the pic.. I would post it here if I could.

It was time to replace my roof and I wasn't sure who to choose. Everyone who I had spoke with referred me to the Roof Doctor. The crew kept a very tidy work space and were more than helpful with any questions that I had. They were all very personable and it made for a pleasant experience. I am very happy with my new roof thanks to these guys.
