I recently had what appeared to be a roof leak in an addition on our home. Two other companies wanted to charge me to replace the roof or the seal in the stucco. Jay from Kovach did a thorough analysis and we even took a hose to the suspected spot. In the end he did some repairs and saved me thousands. I really appreciated the honesty and expertise of Kovach.

My review doesn't say anything about workmanship as I couldn't even get an estimate. I asked for an estimate about a month ago. Owner came out on a saturday and said I would get estimate on Monday. I called for a week asking for the estimate and never got a response. I wouldn't have left this review if he just told me he didn't want to give an estimate or that the job was to small.

Kovac did an excellent job. They did a clean and professional job. I have to say that Christian was great to work with . His Knowledge on roofs is excellent and guided me the right way . It was hard to find a great roofing company, I am glad I choose Kovac .

The job was done exceptionally well. The workers cleanup each day and left my property perfectly clean. Very Happy !!!!!

From start to finish, this company did an amazing job. Our skylight broke in the middle of the night. We called the next day, and someone came that afternoon for a free estimate. We had the window and roofing repairs completed that same week - each person we interacted with was pleasant. Most importantly, they cleaned up every piece of tempered glass and nail that fell, making it a seamless experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Just used Kovach a second time to fix a leak in our roof and again the problem was diagnosed and fixed right the first time. Torrential rains two days later and no issues.

It’s pouring rain right now and a week ago I would have been nervous that my roof was going to leak. Today I am a tad worried our street might flood but at least my roof won’t leak! We hired Kovach roofing after four months of leak repairs by various professionals. Christian came to give us an estimate which was prompt and more than reasonable. When his crew came they were on time every day, extremely nice, and neat!!!! Even my neighbors commented how well they cleaned up after each day. I felt very safe having Rich and his crew at the house. I have a two year old so that’s important! The job was done on time and with expert precision. Rich and his crew cleaned up like they weren’t even there! Christian came back after the job was done to make sure there was no way water was getting in anymore and I really appreciated that. We had a gutter replaced and gutter helmets put on the back as well. Again, on time, didn’t try to upsell us, fair price, and professionally done. I can’t say enough good things. Hire them without question!!!!!

A wonderful Roofing Company and Staff
I wanted to write this review about Kovach Roofing and the professional way they treated me as a customer. Their entire staff from the founder Mr. Kovach, his Son Christian and their Administrator Margaret, were always available to answer any of my questions, listen to my concerns and schedule our repairs.
We had a problem with a newly installed roof from a Denville Roofing company. The issue was extensive leaks in our Sun Room, that lingered for two years. The Company could never repair the problem correctly after many attempts. Every time it rained I took out buckets to catch the water to prevent damage to my wood floors, I was a wreck!
After two years of aggravation and monies spent on repairs and painters, finally, I called Kovach Roofing. Christian came and assessed the problem, and assured me he could correct the leaks and put my mind at ease. Together with his amazing staff, Christian corrected the problem and eliminated the nightmare I had been living with. “no more buckets every time it rains”.

Kovach Roofing is not only the best in the business, they are honest, reliable and a pleasure to have in your home. Words cannot express how much I appreciate this professional organization and the way they solved my problem. I highly recommend Kovach Roofing to anyone.

So we have been customers for probably close to 10 years between my house and my parents house. Not only are they the most honest company you could hire, but they go out of their way to diagnose the problem and to make sure that it's done correctly. My parents have all their maintenance work done yearly through Kovach and they have never had a problem with their roof. 2 years ago when we bought our home, Christian was able to diagnose (what a home inspector missed I should add), a defective roof shingle by a major manufacturer roofing company AND not only was he able to assist me with paperwork to get a credit; I was able to upgrade my roof and he did not take any additional money for me and waited until the credit was provided to Kovach Roofing by the company. I don't know how much more honest you can get. Not sure about some of the negative reviews, but there is something to be said about a company that does not charge a customer $4,000 in the difference of a new roof because of a defect that they were not responsible for, rather they held the manufacturer responsible and advocated for me as their customer. We have seen a difference with our home and the energy efficiency with the 50 year shingle Christian recommend. These folks are the real deal and I would recommend them without any reservation.

Workers were nice. Made sure everything was cleaned up when done. Problem was job was accepted back in June but only completed 3 weeks ago. Received a call about bill that was mailed and not received. Bill was emailed and received just the other day. Today a truck comes ripping into my driveway while my husband is trying to leave for work. Gentleman jumps out stating he was here to collect. After my husband leaves, the woman in truck explains they were sent to collect the bill but couldn’t understand why they were sent because the works was only done a couple of weeks ago. Normally they are sent out out until a bill is 2 months old. I was standing in middle of street trying to settle a bill over the phone reading my credit card in the street. Couldn’t call the office from inside my house because the girls had to settle it from her phone. Now mind you the job was accepted in June just completed a couple of weeks ago. During job no one ever called to say they were coming or going, no one asked for a deposit. Nothing. Feels like I just got strong armed into settling a bill for a job that took all summer to get done. Due to this behavior and treatment would never use them again or recommend them

Fantastic work! I was having problems with my roof and knew that I was in need of a new roof. My neighbor recommended Kovach Roofing Co. I got 4 estimates from different roofing companies including them. The price was reasonable and right in between the other estimates I received . They were the only company where a secretary picked up the phone and made and appointment right away. When the owner himself showed up for the estimate he took pictures of different parts of the roof and showed me what needed to be done. My chimney was cracked and I wasn't even aware. Mr. Kovach perpared an estimate on the spot and went over each step of the installation showing me pictures so I understood what he was referring to. He even showed me a picture of my house with different shingles colors on it using an app.
I felt comfortable going forward with the new roof and a week later they were there to start. They showed up with 4 guys, they protected my plants and shrubs and were always cautious not to damage anything around the house. Before they started the job the man in charge once again went over all the details to make sure everything was what I had chosen. They were polite and did everything they said they would do. Their clean up crew came and left my house how it was before they started. Which was something that was important for me not having to worry about it after they left. The roof and chimney work was done within a day and they installed new gutter and leaders the following day.
The job truly looks amazing. After the job was completed I received a certification in the mail from GAF guaranteeing my roof for 50 years.
