Project Manager Diego and his crew from Klaus Larsen Roofing did an amazing job today replacing my roof. Arrived before 8 and done by 5. If it weren't for the beautiful new shingles, you wouldn't know they were even here. First thing before demo they protected and covered all landscaping and property, leaving no damage at the end of the day. Great experience with thorough inspection from initial sales rep visit from Ryan that included clear drone pics of damaged areas on roof and was the only company out of 4 quotes that looked in attic spotting a pair of venting issues that were corrected today during install. It likely will not be the cheapest quote you will get but I'd highly recommend this company and staff; great experience from start to finish.

I had new gutters installed by Klaus Larsen company (Hunter and I forgot the other gentleman’s name). They were both wonderful. Very nice guys, professional, friendly and polite. I also appreciated the sales associate (Jonathan) who was so helpful and very easy going. There was no high pressure sales approach which I really appreciated. The project went smoothly from the no pressure consultation for our initial bid. The salesman was professional and answered my questions at the time of the project proposal and my follow up questions later. On the day of the project the team showed up promptly as scheduled. I was impressed by the care the workers took with our deck, deck furniture and plants. The workers worked diligently and were courteous and efficient. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the worksite. I would highly recommend this company. Although they were not the lowest bid I was extremely happy with the work they did and the choice we made to have them do the project.

The crew did a fantastic job and got it all done in one day! Diego was very responsive and kept me updated on the progress and you wouldn't know they were even there after they were done (except for the brand new roof, of course)!

From the initial sales call with Greg to the installation day the process was seamless. RJ managed the project and his team were both synchronized and professional. This had to be the best surprises for me. This was for my mom’s house. My sister handled everything. I came during the operation Diego the project manager was on the ground overseeing everything. He was calm and cool. The guys on the roof were a team working in an experienced fashion. Diego Fernandez and his team did a fantastic job of a full roof install. They listened to and acted on all concerns and special points of attention. Efficient, thorough and completely respectful of property. You could not ask for better.

I had been having a problem with a slight leak into my garage every time it rained. Last fall/winter Kyle from Klaus Larsen was able to diagnose the source of the leak fairly easily, but of course it could not be confirmed until work was started. Two factors delayed the start time of the job - weather and windows. The job involved replacing two windows and removing some of the siding around those windows and chimney flashing to verify the source of the leak which was happening between the windows and the garage roof. Since I had to wait at least 6 weeks for the windows to be shipped, the job couldn't start until spring, which actually worked out okay since the weather would have been more conducive to removing the siding. So despite my fairly extensive wait, the job was started in early April. Josua contacted me, as requested, before he arrived so I could secure my dog (who otherwise would have insisted on "helping") and arrived around 9:30 on day 1 to install the windows, along with another individual (whose name I do not recall-apologies!). While I was originally told there would be a dumpster on site, Joshua told me that it wouldn't be necessary because it was a small job. That was good news. On day 2 Joshua and Dennis arrived to complete the job. They verified the source of the leak was where it was thought to be and sealed it up tight. Overall, I feel they took exceptional care in performing the needed work, cleaning up afterwards, and communicating to me the nature of the work they had done. Although this is the type of work performance you would expect of a profession, it's so very nice when the level of competence and professionalism lives up to your expectations! I no longer dread the rain!

First roof ever needed so at the initial estimate, Ryan inspected and gave us a thoughtful analysis of our roof and the Company's proprietary products. Was courteous and offered a great price. At installation day, RJ did a great job managing the project and it was a pleasure. They cleaned up afterwards and were courteous of the lawn and vegetation. In the contract we get a reimbursement if we find nails after they cleanup and I found 5 so need to find out how to get my reimbursement for each nail next, but overall satisfied and would recommend.

RJ and crew did an outstanding job, completed it in one day, & worked like a well oiled machine. Great teamwork & safely done They kept us informed during the project and removed debris as they went along. Final cleanup even included a magnet sweep for any missed nails. I am very pleased with the roof and the process, and highly recommend Klaus Larsen.

Roof and gutters from Klaus Larsen - A+ experience. The roofing crew showed up right on time and did not stop working on our huge roof for almost 12 hours straight. When we decided to get a new roof for our house, my husband did a lot of research. He made appointments to get estimates with the 4 roofing companies that had the best reviews. Klaus Larsen Roofing was one of these four. During our session with their Sales Inspector, Ryan, we felt very comfortable and not pressured. Ryan was very knowledgeable and presented all the info well, taking into consideration all of our needs. We are so glad we decided to use Klaus Larsen Roofing to do the work. The company is very well organized, making arrangements to drop off supplies and dumpsters the day before the job. We feel very fortunate to work with their Project Manager, Diego. His team is top notch! They arrived promptly at 7:10 am, having already told us they would be on site at 7:15 am. His whole crew worked like a well-oiled machine! Everyone had a job and they knew exactly what to do. Diego stayed in contact with my husband (who was at work), keeping him updated on the project. His crew also made sure to do an excellent clean up after the job was done, before they left our house. Diego took us on a walk-through, explaining everything they did and had to fix. He also sent us pics of the work being done throughout the job day.

We were very pleased with the job Diego's crew did on our roof replacement. They were right on time and finished right when Diego predicted. They left the yard very clean. We were especially impressed with a woman we saw going carefully through a flower bed to make sure there was no debris. We like the salesman, Ryan, too, though were disappointed that he hadn't seen that we would need vents at the eaves to go with the ridge vent. Diego caught that. But in every other way Ryan was very thorough and professional and personable and even gave us knowledgable advice about the best color. We had talked with other roofers but it was because of him that we picked Klaus Larsen.

Today Klaus Larsen, LLC completed their third job at my home. The work is always professional and done with great skill. They have done two roofing jobs, removed and attic window and replaced the cedar shakes in that gable and most recently have removed an old louver from the gable in my kitchen roof and replaced the cedar shakes in that gable. While giving me the estimate for the work on the kitchen gable, the estimator identified a problem with the cedar shakes on another area of my home and recommended that they replace those cedar shakes as well. Had I not followed his advice, we would not have discovered rot on the sheathing beneath those cedar shakes, thus avoiding further repairs in the future. My home 147 years old, and Klaus Larsen, LLC understands how to work with an antique house and anticipate and deal with issues that arise during a repair job. Their work is always neat, and the work area is always carefully cleaned up at the end of each workday. I highly recommend Klaus Larsen, LLC for any home repairs.

We contracted Klaus Larson LLC to finish a job that another contractor had started and did an extremely poor job and then left in the middle. They had to finish and fix all the poor work they had done. Mike Niezza and William Roger's are outstanding people and did outstanding work to finish our mess that nobody else would take on. I highly recommend them for the quality of work they do. They were also great guys to talk to as they kept in constant communication with my wife and I throughout the project.

Preston was very thorough and was able to diagnose the problem. From his inspection, a new roof and air sealing the attic would fix the issue. Diego and his team completed the new roof and were very professional. He walked me through the process and showed pictures as the project progressed. Also, William and Mike did an excellent job air sealing my attic. They told me about the process and answered any questions I had. They showed pictures of everything they did so I could see the work that was performed.

We had a few companies come out to give estimates to replace our old roof. Patrick from Klaus Larsen was very thorough with the scope of work and price breakdowns during his visit. The quote was competitive with the other companies. We chose this company because the materials they used, site manager is on site the entire time and the fact that they stand by their work. They were able to get out within a week to get started. They did the work between 7am and were done by 3pm the same day. RJ and his team had teamwork down to a science- they had precision and attention to detail. They took pictures of everything before they began and left our properly looking like it did at the start. The team arrived by 7:30am like RJ the project manager said. RJ went through the work to be done with me while the crew was setting up the site. Ive know plenty of roofers over the years so when RJ said they would finosh the job in a day i had my doubts. The team crushed it. They hit the ground running and didnt stop until it was done. By 2:45pm the roof was done, the site was clean, and they put back eveything they had to move right where it was before they started. I was very impressed with the teams performance. Klaus Roofing did an outstanding job removing the old shingles, repairing the plywood where needed, refastening plywood, taping all seams, installing iceguard, installing the synthetic vapor barrier, re-cladding the chimney, and installing the high quality shingles. RJ’s (Rene) team was extremely efficient and worked well with each other, keeping the project moving along. They completed 52 squares 5200 square feet) in about 10 hours! The team was meticulous at cleaning up after the job. RJ was very professional throughout the entire job and took care of his team. He maintained great communications with my wife and me. I would absolutely hire Klaus Roofing or recommend them to anyone needing work done. I put a Klaus on my house, and extremely proud of it. The Klaus Larsen team under the direction of Rene Godbout was nothing short of outstanding. They worked quickly with extreme professionalism. In less than 7 hours they stripped the old roof, made necessary repairs, and installed the new roof. My Fiancé and I just had Klaus Larsen do our roof in Tolland. From quoting (nearly two hours on site on a Sunday evening) through installation the whole process was handled professionally, on time and on budget. A competitor spent 15 minutes on site and flat out declined to look in the attic for leaks and wood damage..no such corner cutting with Klaus.

RJ and his crew did an excellent job on project day and gave us a fantastic looking roof. They even built a custom barrier to keep debris out of our pool. We can’t recommend klaus Larsen or RJ and team enough.

Total pros, the on-site PM RJ kept me up on all that was going on. They had to replace a couple more sheets of ply wood and showed me why. Left the site in pristine condition.

Responded to my call and addressed my concerns fully. Josh was thorough and very knowledgeable. Everyone should have a Klaus on their house.

The service tech was kind through the process however that was about it. I did end up going with another company at the end of the day due to a few reasons.

1. Prices weren’t as competitive. Quoted for 18500 whereas the competition had better ratings and were falling in at 16000 or lower with multiple options to lower the price (our total for the same project came to just below 13000)

2. Felt pressured to chose them. Upon saying I’d like to think about it, the tech said if I decided right now or within the next 24 hours they’ll lower the price by 2k. Told me if I took any longer it’d go right back up and maybe a bit more due to availability so I need to decide fast. Other company’s lowered the price and gave me a few days to get competitive quotes as they understood it was a big purchase.

3. Didn’t get an option in the process. The material they used is the material they use. Don’t get a choice at what to replace, type of shingle, etc.

4. Inspector missed the first appointment and called me 20 minutes after saying he wasn’t going to make it. This was after I was already moved due to them being double booked for my time. Showed up late to the 3rd scheduled appointment as well

Fabulous job! Everything went like clockwork. The whole crew was great. The roof is beautiful and my yard was completely cleaned up. You never would have known they were here. Extremely happy.

This is the second time we have used Klaus Larsen LLC for roofing (two different houses). Both times, Patrick was exceptional during the contracting process, explaining everything with excellent transparency. Diego and his crew were amazing when it came time to do the work. It turned out that the roof needed far more work than we knew. The old roof was improperly installed, not anywhere up to code, and all the plywood was extremely moldy. This was backed up by pictures, options were given, and a very fair quote provided to do the job correctly. It should be noted that the potential for more work being needed was disclosed at the time of the initial contract negotiations. We wouldn’t know until the shingles were removed. The roof was old and corners were clearly cut when that roof was installed! Diego and his crew still managed to complete everything during a very long day for the crew, left everything spotless and did meticulous work. Everyone was even friendly and pride in their work was evident! We recommend them highly.

Extremely pleased with a recent roof replacement by Klaus Larsen. Everything was really easy from beginning to end, with everyone being very professional and helpful throughout.
