Joe did a great job working on our flooring and plumbing. Even went above and beyond to fix a previous contractors mistakes.

We got Joe's info from Menard's about a local handyman who could install our new countertop. He came over for a measuring and an estimate. Instead of using Menard's, he talked us into purchasing from Hoods. Not sure if this was a blessing or mistake, we took his advice since he was the "expert". When he took the measurements, he measured the right side of the existing countertop ONLY. The kitchen is not square, so when he installed it, the new top would not fit properly. On the left side of the kitchen, there was an inch gap between the wall and the countertop. He blew it off as happening all the time. I questioned it, and he informed us that when he puts in the tile black splash, it will look perfect. Since we could not return the cut black splash, we let him proceed and set up a time for him to fix his mistake with the tile. This started an all new dilemma for him He could not / would not install the tile we wanted and after three trips to replace the tile, he agreed that he would "try" to use it; all along trying to tell us that it would be too much cutting and waste. I need to call BS on this. He didn't have the skill needed for the job, so he was trying to get out of it. It's MY money, and if I need to pay extra for waste, it's MY decision. The day he was suppose to show up, he called to inform us that his truck was in the shop. I followed up a couple of days later, and it was still in the shop. Have not heard back from him in two weeks. We hired another company to finish his bad job and found out that everything Joe said was a lie to cover up his bad workmanship or lack of skill. Joe is a nice guy, and I'm sure he can do some things very good, but not countertops and tile

So impressed by their work ethic and what all they can accomplish in just a short time! They created a faux hood for our kitchen and a couple other home improvements in just a couple days!
