Gifford Lumber Company

I've rented several tools as well as excavating equipment from Giffords over the past years but have rented from them for the last time. Rented a concrete saw and had issues with it not wanting cut when the saw was put under a load. Because I attempted to get the job done and it got late into the evening I took it back the next day explaining problem. They had their mechanic check the saw out. I called later that day to find out what issue they found and was told the saw was out of gas. I asked if the mechanic had tried cutting with the saw and was told no and the clerk repeated the only thing they found was it had no gas in it. So after reluctantly considering to a drive to Farmington I rented it again. I kept the saw topped off with gas at several points while attempting to finish the job a second time but you guessed it, same issue. It took me almost 3 hours to cut a 10 foot strip of concrete. Took the saw back the next day, exclaimed to the guy behind the counter and he acted like he was not concerned. If you rent tools from Giffords you may be getting more than you bargain for. My suggestion would be to drive to Farmington.

I was working on a big Plumbing project and the gentleman that waited on me at the counter was very helpful, knowledgeable, a quick thinker and very organized.

Very helpful and friendly and reasonable prices and you don't have to walk 5 miles to get something. In and out fast.

It was a lot better stocked with many things I didn't expect and also decent pricing. Will be back :)

I really like this hardware store, they have a decent amount of lumber, plumbing and electrical supplies for house projects...

I moved down here from the city almost a year ago and have needed stuff many times.

Each time I went in, they were polite, friendly and very helpful...

The guys that work out in the yard are awesome too...
