Kimbrough's rocks. Our old Generator runs like a top now. They are honest and professional. We had been down over a year d/t a bad accident I had. Rodents had chewed a few wires. I repaired them but couldn't get it to stay running. If I had been more attentive I would have seen that one of the wires popped off while I was wrapping the wires in Honda rodent tape(awesome stuff). Their Onan guru found it right away and only charged the labor to put it back together. The housing has tons of bolts. We will use these guys in the future.

The staff at Kimbrough's are very helpful at the technicians are some of the best in the business! They repaired our coach and saved us money in the process. Work was done with quality and completed quickly. I recommend this company for repairs and upgrades to your rv. I'm sure you'll be just as impressed with the team at Kimbrough's as I am.

We needed a new fridge installed and we chose Kimbroughs. The fridge arrived on Friday and they held it until they installed it on Monday. They installed it in less than two hours and also replaced the subfloor beneath it. Billy runs a tight shop in the bays and the entire install went perfectly. So happy with the quality of work. It went right in the driver's window. Really impressed.

We had a very bad experience with our service at Kimbrough's RV Repair in Tuscumbia, AL. After a verbal discussion about services needed for our coach, we dropped our coach off and left a request to get estimates for four items (roof repair, four slide toppers, oil change and window seal replacement). We asked, via email, for prices prior to repairs being performed. We were initially given a price for a roof replacement that included wood. We were told they had cut the roof and found the wood to be wet (before permission for repair they had cut the roof). They called back shortly after and said the roof material had gone up so the price went up approximately $3000.00. Being the roof had been cut, we felt there was no choice but to go with the roof replacement.  We were also told the slide covers could be worked into that price. We were not given a price on the oil change or window seal replacement (we provided the seal from Tiffin).

We were contacted and told the coach was complete and the price had gone up approximately $1200.00. We requested multiple times to talk with Mr. Kimbrough, but that was met with extreme difficulty. Once we finally got in touch with Mr. Kimbrough, he was not willing to discuss the topic, was very rude, and stated as far as he was concerned this call was done. We sent an additional email requesting information on the oil change and window seal but did not receive a response.

We went on the next business day (Monday) to pick up the coach. We found the front and back caps were severely scratched, scratches/gouges on the new fiberglass top, awning arms scratched, rear of motorhome scratched, and coach nasty inside from the roof work performed. We discussed this with the Kimbrough team. We were told some of the scratches could be buffed out but some would need to be painted. So we left the coach to have the damages repaired/painted. We were contacted approximately a week later and told the coach was ready for pick-up. We drove back up there (4 hours) to find most of the same scratches (they attempted to buff them out, but no paint) and were met with the same unprofessional attitude from Mr. Kimbrough. He stated he was not losing any more money on our coach. We were actually told they were done with our coach (not doing anything else), although it was scratched/damaged by their employees, and we could pay the invoiced amount or he (Mr. Kimbrough) would sit it out there and sell it. We were actually told by an employee the scratches are mostly on top and no one would see them (WOW). Finally, Mr. Kimbrough discounted the price slightly, said he was done and asked us to leave.

The coach is still scratched, air horn not working post repair, window seal not replaced and no longer in the coach where we left it, and the coach is very nasty inside from roof repair.

Although highly recommended by Tiffin, our experience was terrible. Others may have had a good experience, but we would recommend getting everything in writing beforehand and taking multiple pictures of your coach prior to leaving your coach if you chose to use this company.

I was having problems with my Onan generator and Kimbrough's was recommended by an RV dealer. I scheduled an appointment and planned to leave my RV. However they got started on my RV as soon as I pulled in at 6:45 AM and by 10:30 AM they had me ready to go. Great place. We will go back if we need other service or work done. Thanks

On our return trip from an “out west” vacation, or generator (and hence AC) died in our motor home. Since it was Friday night, we had no idea about Kimbroughs scheduling - all other places we called were booked weeks out. We arrived on Monday morning with no appointment. Ten minutes later they pulled us into the bay and work began. Cannot speak highly enough of their staff and work performed!!

Had problems with my generator they corrected the problem. Works like it did when it was brand new. If you have problem you need to go to kimbrough's to get it corrected right now. Ask for Trey.

We had to have major warranty work done on our Tiffin 2020 36UA. The large slide had to have the wooden floor removed and a new aluminum floor put back in. This meant pretty much everything on that 25 ft slide had to be removed. Booth dinette & table, sofa, bunks and dresser drawers. Some flooring in the MH had been damaged as well as the carpet and all was professionally replaced.
The team at Kimbroughs did this huge job and put everything back in with no damage in 3 days. They also made the necessary adjustments for the fact the new floor was higher.
This job was not scheduled as the slide failed unexpectedly but they graciously fitted us in as we are on a tight timeframe for returning to Canada.
We will be back in the area next year and will schedule a generator oil and filter change and any other work we may need well in advance.
We cannot thank all the employees enough. This was a major rebuild and the MH is actually better than new. Thank you all.

They took care of our slide issue quickly and completely. They replaced our wet bay floor a few years ago and we had great service then also. Good works and honest service.

Hallelujah!! We have found THE one...the shop that is family run, honest, friendly, and can do it all. We left AZ with a dead Generac generator and started searching the Southeast for a shop that works on them. Contacted the famed Bay Diesel in Red Bay, AL and they recommended us to Kimbrough's. I called and they got us right in.

Here's how it turned out: Charles, an ace with 34 years experience, troubleshot the generator and determined a dead stator/rotor was the issue so we could spend a bunch to find a used part for this 15 year old generator or we could bite the bullet on a new one. We decided on the latter, sourced one ourselves in KY (there's a shortage), and brought it back. It was installed in 2 hours and we were back in business.

As a bonus, they have a body shop run by Cody and when we mentioned we were looking for a shop to help us with a peeling sewage bay door, he took us in right away and got to work.

How long did this all take? 4 days from start to finish. We can't believe it. This shop has earned our business over and over again. They are trustworthy, honest and service all types of RVs, old and new. They do Tiffin's tires and any other rig that pulls in.

We returned to Kimbrough's in March 2025 due to issues with our generator. Although in the middle of camping they squeezed us in to see Charlie. We had already been to Cummins in Birmingham who put on a lot of n ew parts but left us with a still malfunctioning generator. Charlie diagnosed the problem and determined that the generator was shutting itself down. This was the first time I actually witnessed someone disconnect the electrical from my coach and connect an external load. Because I was to be on the road again they offered a rebuilt generator as replacement. Charlie texted me about a week later and determined that someone tried to adjust the governor and put the generator so far out of spec it couldn't run once warmed up. (A local diesel mechanic serviced my generator last fall.)

Kimbrough's is now my go to place for all aspects of motorhome maintenance and repair. We are already planning our list for next year. Thank you so much for your dedicated and quality work for a reasonable price.

Very nice people both in the office and the shop. I know it was luck but they got us in when we stopped by and took care of us. They tried to help with another problem we had but couldn't get us on the schedule within our window. The repair was better than new!

We had the 2011 38 QBA DriverSide floor delamination issue. Tiffin recommended them. Donny put in a whole new floor. Apt was at 6 am done by 2 Awesome work, and they have a full hookup campground around the corner.
And we were able to make it back to Red bay to do the factory and paint tours while they did the work. They were closed in November when we were here.
Highly recommend their work and the tours !!

They changed the wheels on our Tiffin Wayfarer. They also repaired our problematic diesel generator. Even have a few full hook up spots for their customers. I can't recommend Kimbrough's highly enough. Thanks Kimbrough's

I brought our Tiffin here in January for a 3 day list of work. They completed most of the work, but, after replacing the bathroom. Skylight, they only sealed half of it, leaving the rest exposed. They did a good job on the "major" items but kind of dropped the ball on some of the small stuff. Nevertheless, I brought it back to them in September to have an Generator service and replace my step assembly. After we drove from Alabama to Northern Tennessee, we discovered our steps would not lock "out" when were parked. After spending $150 paying mobile repair guys to find the problem, I called Tiffin to see about replacing the assembly under warranty. After testing several things, they had me crawl under the coach only to discover Kimbroughs had crossed the wires, causing the step to lock "in" instead of out. Extra money I shouldn't have spent, plus stress and time to fix it, leaves me with no desire to return. Thus, the ☆☆☆ rating.

They replaced my roof rails, drivers slide floor and wet bay floor. They are experts and the whole staff treated us like family. We loved our stay there. Those guys and gals rock!!!!!!!.

Allowed me to take a zero-turn home for a test drive and even offered $20 for gas. These folks are the model on how to treat others & operate a business.

These folks struck me as very honest and immediately are able to diagnose and suggest a repair for almost any RV issue. They specialize in Tiffin repair and know the quirks and common issues backwards and forwards. If your wet bay and the panel under your water tanks is looking saggy, these folks have a bombproof 100% custom built plastic replacement ready to go. They also intalled our Safety Plus steering stabilizer, which tracks straight and true and was worth every penny. Very impressed by this place and will always return for service for the honesty, expertise, and fairness I experienced.

We were sent to Kimbroughs by Tiffin to have our slide out floor replaced. We first met Heather, who was very helpful in getting us scheduled for our repairs. We showed up at 6am the next morning and met Donny and Jackie (they were awesome). They were very careful in removing our brand new dinette set and refrigerator, replaced the floor and new carpet.. But what really impressed me was before they put back the refrigerator they took the time to clean out years of dirt and dust from the bottom of the fridge,. In my opinion it was above and beyond, they really took pride in what they were doing. I also (under warranty) needed my roof caps and rails replaced. It came out great, and Paul did an awesome job matching the paint. At this point, I realized how professional they all were, so I decided to have more work done. I had Tommy install brand new aluminum rims (great job & price). Then we had Anthony & Dwayne add a Safe T Plus to our steering, again great job & price. When they had my motorhome in the air I asked them to check my jacks because they would not always come back up. They ended up putting new springs on the jacks. Then pushing my luck I mentioned that I had 2 new mirrors that needed to be installed and Jackie jumped right on it, even having to stay late to finish them up. I can't thank everyone enough (especially Jackie). Herald (the owner) and his 2 boys were all very nice. I would highly recommend and trust them to do any repairs on my motorhome again.

Simply can’t say enough good about this business. I have issues with my Tiffin motorhome. Tiffin referred me to this business. They found that unusual issues caused by the previous owner would require several hours additional labor to repair properly. They were upfront with the issue, but with my approval they soldiered on. A two -three hour job ran into 6 hours. When it was all said and done, they billed me a total of $20 for one night in their campground. Tiffin picked up the entire bill and even though much more time and materials were required, they didn’t charge me one single cent more.
That is the true meaning of a company that goes above and beyond for a customer.
If you are in the Alabama area, don’t even consider another place.
These guys are absolutely wonderful.

I had a generator problem..which they repaired,at a very fair price. Was happy with the work..but..the person answering the phone..has NO people skills..almost made me take it to Huntsville after the first call I made to Kimbrough's. On my way home..generator cut off..would not restart..so I called the mechanic to tell him..he said I would have to bring it back(which I knew this..just wanted to let him know what was going on) I was told "I can't fix it on the telephone" didn't really appreciate that comment..but appreciated it being repaired at a fair price. I recommend them for the work..but would appreciate a little more customer service and appreciation. There are other repair facilities available..I don't "have to give them my hard earned money" but they are very knowledgeable in their field.

Had a safety plus controller installed and suspected wasn't installed right. Controller was well below tie rod creating a risk of hitting something because of decreased ground clearance. Consulted with a rep at safety plus whom confirmed not properly installed. Therefore I made the correction myself. Also the leather was worn off back of seat because of a very large person adjusted seat all the way back rubbing on slide while doing test ride.

Tiffin had our roof repaired here, with an on-sight overnight grounds to wait as needed. They were quick, addressed everything and sent us on our way. Great service!
