Tim does a great job, I have used him for residential and commercial projects. Timely and very reasonably priced. I have used a few inspection companies, and they are the best.

The report had a lot of finds that were nothing more than burned out light bulbs or shrubs thst needed trimming, or things like wasp nests. Of the 61 page report that read like the old testament, there was only 1 major concern, and a lot of nitpick items that seemed to imply a 22 year old house should meet every current standard in home construction.

Tim did an excellent job inspecting our house. I’ve had bad home inspectors in the past, but this guy has incredible attention to detail. He didn’t miss a thing. Guarantee I will be using him for every future home I buy.

We hired Tim from Kestrel to carry out a home inspection for a new home we purchased in Kennewick. We have built and purchased many homes in our time and this was by far the most thorough and professional home inspection that we have ever done. Tim not only identified a number of issues during the inspection, he followed up by meeting the builder onsite on two separate occasions to ensure that all of the items had been rectified. I would highly recommend him if you ever have the need for a home inspection.

Tim did an inspection on my house and his professionalism and detail is a refreshing change. Having a mid-70's house with over 2000 sqft, there are many potential areas that can be over looked. Tim Spent time crawling through my stuffy dirty attic and found minor details I have never noticed after living in the hours for 5 years. Cracks around window seals which could result in big dollars of energy loss over years and an old electric panel that could cause a fire. His meticulous attention to detail stands to save me thousands in what could turn out to be huge repair costs. One example of Tim’s attentiveness was, an awning I had which did not have a proper down spout for rain. When it would rain, water would drip onto a support beam I had for a second floor deck. Over time the moisture would damage the post and potentially compromise the structural integrity of the deck and result in huge costs to repair and potential safety concerns. $20 dollars later I added a water chain and the problem was fixed. I would highly recommend Tim for any home inspections you may need.

I have seen the reports and thoroughness of his inspections. Each house is different and I liked the fact that he took his time and made sure that he looked the entire house over from top to bottom, inside and outside.

As for the gentleman who said "as a seller" too bad that you were inconvenienced. It is the purview of the buyer how long they may want the inspection to take. If you are seeking expect this to happen. The buyer is doing their due diligence.

I was very satisfied with how quick we were able to get an appointment and how promptly he returned my call. He removed his shoes without me asking at the front door. I have small children so this was very appreciated. He was thorough, and professional. He was easy to ask questions to and seemed very knowledgable and helpful with any questions I did have. His report was precise, detailed, and easy to read.

This is the third home inspection I've been a part of in the last few years so I have previous experience to compare his services to. Although the other inspectors did a good job, I wasn't as pleased as I was with Kestrel's Home Inspection. If I know anyone looking for a home inspection I will make sure I refer them to Mr. Mether. I felt confident knowing the time he spent with me was insuring our new home would be safe for me and my family.

From a sellers standpoint I will not allow a buyer to utilize this company. He spent 6 hours from 3 - 9 pm inside my hpuse & 45 minutes outside. I had to ask him to leave so I could go to sleep. Very disrespectful of my time & privacy
