I had an extensive repair job commissioned on my Chimney along with some minor roof and brick work done. From quote to finish, Phil goes above and beyond and is accessible, transparent, and efficient. Even with a rain delay, he was able to finish the project within a reasonable amount of time. When I asked him if I should install glass doors for the fireplace, he had my best interest in mind and gave me reasons to consider other more practical options. Originally, I awarded them 5 stars, impressed by their prompt response when our fireplace started leaking after heavy rains. Phil's quick examination and professional demeanor left a positive impression, as did his temporary solution and subsequent repair of our chimney crown. His removal of the unused chimney and matching the roof shingles were commendable. I initially recommended him without hesitation.However, my rating has since plummeted to 1 star due to subsequent events. Despite Phil's efforts to repair the chimney crown, it broke again after the first rainfall. Despite repeated attempts to rectify the issue, including reapplication of chalk and Phil's exploration for a permanent solution, the fireplace continued to leak. Communication became increasingly problematic, with delayed responses. Despite our requests for another company employee to assist, no alternative was provided. Phil's inability to diagnose the problem accurately led to costly suggestions for fixes like repairing the flashing and redoing the shingles. He also wasn't certain whether our chimney would be functional or if the previous owner had sealed it with cement or another material. Frustrated by the lack of progress and uncertain solutions, we sought assistance elsewhere. The new company promptly identified that waterproofing was the sole requirement, resolving the issue permanently at a fraction of the cost. They confirmed that flashing wasn't the issue and identified an existing crack in the crown. They also confirmed we would be able to use it and it wasn’t closed with any cement or another material. This experience highlighted not only the inefficiency of the initial repairs but also the lack of expertise in accurately diagnosing the problem.

Phil helped us install a stainless steel liner for our furnace flue. He is very professional, skilled, kind, and friendly.

He is the type of guy that actually cares and takes time to listen and talk to you and understand your concerns and help you resolve them, as well as providing guidance from his many years of experience. Very patient as well if you like to ask questions and learn.

Kenza recently installed a chimney liner in my 50 year old chimney. It was rather tricky install. They did a mighty fine job and made sure my furnace and heater were venting properly post install.
