K Power construction is fantastic! Koo did a great job on completing two large walkway areas in my house. He completely redid my front steps as well as created a new walkway on the side of my house. His crew arrived on time and finished the work as planned. In addition to the walkway, Koo has also done a ton of work around my house. He redid our entire basement (theatre room, bathroom, bedroom, living area, etc.), installed all new windows and skylights, and also installed a new roof. His work is always timely and dependable and we will continue to use him for future interior and exterior projects.

Stephen did a great job on our deck. We were able to customize the design outside of the typical deck layout and it easily passed all three rounds of inspection with no remediation. We will use them again to do a firepit patio in the near future.

Stephen built my deck about 5 months ago. I was not sure that I picked the right company but I DID. Stephen knows what is needed and gets the job done at an honest price. I am glad I choose K Power to build my deck.

I reached out to numerous contractors and chose K Power to replace and repair my deck. They were very professional, detailed, and very prompt. They estimated a lead time of 4-6 weeks due to the high demand of materials, but everything was delivered within a week. They promptly went to work and repaired the entire deck in 2-3 days. K Power also brought the deck up to code and reinforced the deck. Great company to work with, and would definitely use them again.

We used KPower in Feb 2021 to build a sunroom and resurface the deck. They gave an estimated timeline of 3 months, but finished the project in 1 month. Very familiar with fairfax county codes and an extremely professional team. They were on time everyday 730am, despite icy conditions and didn’t delay the project even for a day (except for a couple snowy days). They stick to the contract that was agreed to. Over all highly satisfied and recommend this business.

We contracted K Power Construction to complete modifications for our still under construction Daycare center in Alexandria, VA. As soon as the plans were approved by Fairfax County, we began construction. Problems with K Power Construction started immediately.

- He proposed the work would be finished in a month and a half, but they were four months in and never finished.
- We were told that he had all his licensing, but turns out he did not, and we never got to see his personal licensing or commercial licensing.
- During the execution of the construction plans, he would make critical errors and showed very little knowledge of interpreting the said site plans.
- He kept the actual construction site at our Daycare dirty and disorganized.
- He uses smaller contractors for labor and has little supervision or quality control over the projects. -Used wrong and unapproved materials for the bathroom project. - His work repeatedly failed to pass the Fairfax County inspections.
- He insisted on charging in full disregarding the payment plan, and before the scope of work was completed.

In my opinion, this contractor lacks the crucial knowledge and ability to complete the projects and scope of work required in commercial construction. In fact, I would not recommend him for any type of construction in general. Aside from not finishing the work, the work he does do is of poor quaility and disorganized. Thus, you end up having to pay extra to get the work completed or fixed.

Nosotros contratamos a k power construction para realizar la modificación de un local comercial en Alexandria, VA donde pensábamos Instalar un Daycare Center, una vez que los planos fueron aprobados por el condado de Fairfax iniciamos la construcción, inmediatamente empezaron los problemas con esta empresa,
- Nos ofreció terminar la obra en mes y medio, pero habían pasado alrededor de 4 meses y nunca terminó
- Nos dijo que tenía todas sus licencias al día, pero resultó que nunca nos mostró sus licencias y mucho menos su licencia comercial.
- Durante la ejecución del trabajo demostró muy poco conocimiento para leer los planos que tenía que ejecutar, puesto que cometía errores en la interpretación de estos.
- Usó materiales inapropiados o no aprobados para ser usados en locales comerciales.
- El Lugar de la construcción permanecía siempre muy sucias desordenada.
-Utiliza pequeños contratista para realizar las labores y al finalizar estos trabajos nadie se hace responsable la calidad de los mismos.
- Usó materiales de desperdicio para la construcción de los baños.
- Ademas falló infinidad de veces en las inspecciones acordadas con el condado.
- Insistía en cobrar el dinero agendado antes de terminar lo acordado según la agenda.
Este contratista en mi opinión carece de las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para realizar trabajos en locales comerciales y no lo recomendaría para ningún trabajo en general, es un desastre organizando la labor y al final nunca termina, por lo cual se concluye incurriendo en gastos extra.

K Power Construction Inc. realizo trabajos de construccion de muy mala calidad en mi proyecto, pasamos muy pocas inspecciones en el Condado de Fairfax, usa materiales de muy mala calidad al igual que no posee personal calificado para los trabajos de plomeria, electricidad, mecanica entre otros. Sus presupuestos son muy mal calculados porque KPower quiere conseguirte como cliente y luego ajusta precios de acuerdo a como se va adelantando la obra. Es irresponsable con las fechas de entregas de avances de obras, pero es MUY RESPONSALE para COBRARTE y pedirte anticipos de dinero. El proyecto que tenia con nosotros estaba previsto terminar en 4-6 semanas y 4 meses despues no lo termino. No lo recomiendo como constructor, es irresponsale y muy poco profesional. Un detalle super importante: no posee LICENCIA DE CONSTRUCION COMERCIAL a nombre de su empresa. K Power se apoya en otras empresas con licencias para hacer los trabajos.

K Power Construction Inc. performed very poor quality construction work on my project, we passed very few inspections in Fairfax County, used very poor quality materials as well as no qualified personnel for plumbing, electrical, mechanical work between others. Their budgets are very poorly calculated because KPower wants to get you as a customer and then adjust prices according to how the work is moving forward. It is irresponsible with the dates of deliveries of progress of works, but it is VERY RESPONSIBLE to CHARGE and ask for advances of money. The project that KPower had with us was scheduled to be completed in 4-6 weeks and 4 months after I did not finish it. I do not recommend it as a builder, it is irresponsible and very unprofessional. A super important detail: KPower do not have a COMMERCIAL BUILDING LICENSE. K Power relies on other companies with licenses to do the work.

K Power replaced all the windows in our house and 2 sliding doors. Right from the time Stephen stepped into the house to give a quote to the time they completed the project, it was very professionally handled. They did an awesome job with the installation and were very clean and meticulous. I would highly recommend them for any of your house projects.

We had KPower Construction replace the vinyl wrapping around all of our windows. From the initial proposal through the final walk through, their customer service was topnotch. They were prompt, focused on details, performed high quality work, and did a thorough clean up. The CEO, Jake Koo, personally checked the work in progress and came for the final walkthrough. We highly recommend them.

I've had 3 projects now done by K Power Construction: a large carport, a large bay window and now just finished with a big beautiful portico at the front door. All 3 projects went very smoothly, the quality of the work is outstanding and we are very pleased. Stephen builds very substantial, sturdy structures and has always stayed within budget and scheduling. We have recommended K Power Constructions to other friends and neighbors and we would use them again for our next home improvement project. Outstanding work at a very fair price, highly recommended!

KPower replaced our deck with composite. The work was not completed in a timely fashion and not to our expectations. Here’s a summary of our experience:

When signing the contract, we were told the project would take about a week. From initial demo to final inspection it took over 10 weeks. For a month, mid construction, the project went untouched.

During that month, garbage was left onsite to include: fast food containers, plastic tarps, tools, and scrap lumber with nails sticking out. Our yard was unsafe for our kids to play in. After a month I cleaned up as KPower could not commit to a time to resume work.

KPower was scheduled to work but canceled on multiple occasions at the last minute. KPower's excuses were:
- slight chance of rain when it ended up not raining
- double booking where the other job took precedence
- not having materials
- crew had quit

Our project was delayed because KPower consistently did not bring enough material with them or brought the wrong materials.

Our project was stalled further because KPower did not have enough money to purchase materials to complete our project. They wanted an advance on the final payment and asked if we could provide a credit card to pay for materials over the phone. I went in person with KPower to the supplier to ensure my payment went to our project.

During the project we had 7 failed county inspections
- The initial framing failed inspection so badly that it needed to be torn out and completely rebuilt to meet code.

KPower was dishonest
- We had an inspection scheduled, I inquired with KPower regarding the status, they stated that the inspector did not show up two days in a row. I called the county and found that KPower had lied, the inspector showed up as scheduled and the deck failed inspections on both days.

K Power Construction is Super Good, they replaced the roof and the sidding of my house on time and as I require. Mr. Jake is very eager to please his customers it was a pleasant experience. I do recommend this company for your home improvement

They were great!! They were prompt, clean, informative, and kept their word all things I honor in doing business with someone. Also my new roof is amazing, I can’t stop looking at it!! Thanks again guys, you will be my future go to for my housing repair needs.

K Power Construction replaced a bay window and siding that was damaged during a storm. I saw the work they had done on 2 of my neighbors homes and was very comfortable hiring them. They were courteous and easy to deal with. I would hire them again and highly recommend them.

This company finished my roof and siding. They did good job. The owner seems to be young, but he knows what he is doing very well. Very nice and honest people. I am planning to replace my windows with this company. Thank you so much!
